John Baines does work. Dope analysis of the ups and downs of modern relationships. The Hermetic jewels dropped here are tough. Check your ego and preconceived notions of love at the door dun dun.

This is a great book. It is based on Hermetic's philosophy but it's not necessary to be an Specialist to understand it. It does not reveal the "secrets" of love and at the end, each one will decide what to believe. Anyway, I think everyone should have a copy of this book. Highly recommended.

Excellent read. Written based on Hermetics philosophy, which I didn't know existed until then. Gave me another vision of how science meets love. Pick up and read, it's interesting to ponder.

Parts were good, parts made me think he can be a bit misogynistic. I may have to reread... a lot to take in and to think about... ya this one really made me think about everything around love. Perhaps his ideas are just so out of what we are brainwashed to think that I'm just a bit confused. Borrowed from a friend and he really loved it.

This book has many misogynistic ancient homophobic themes embedded in it one of the worst books I’ve ever read and I don’t know why everyone is gushing about any of its content and glorified gender roles disguised as guidance. Edit : to add I’m very disappointed because the title and cover lured me in but no it’s terrible

This book is brutal. Interesting view point, maybe little bit extreme at some places.
But totally recommend!

Excellent read!! Long tho….Kinda text bookish. But worth the time. Its a bit controversial as it relates to the gay and lesbian community but there are some Jewels dropped in here!
