Fifty Shades of Grey meets Revenge in this tantalizing new series about a young woman who’s willing to do anything in the name of vengeance.
The teasing tongues of his leather whip. The black lace blindfold. And that mysterious, provocative little wooden table. These all mean just one thing for April.
The game is on.
Liam is opening a whole new world of thrills for April. It’s only a matter of time before she’s close enough to seize her revenge. But when she catches a glimpse of the “real” Liam, her resolve falters. Despite his dark past, the more she learns about him, the more he begins to consume her thoughts.
And when a familiar face unexpectedly comes to town, the whole house of cards threatens to topple over.

Wow! This story just keeps getting better and better. It is sexy and so intriguing with an added bonus of kink!
In this second installment, we pick up immediately where we left off. Liam is taking Sophia to new levels of sexual exploration in his playroom while she continues to try and get information out of him to get revenge for her parents.
“In this room,” he says, “you’re mine. I’ll command you as I please, and it will be your privilege to obey.”
But as more truths are revealed, even more secrets and mysteries come to light. Add in the feelings that are developing between Liam and Sophia…
“I still don’t know what to make of him. One minute he’s feral, rippling with power and pure sexuality. Mesmerizing me. Consuming me. And the next moment, there’s a gentleness in his touch. A softness in his blue eyes.”
…and a crazy ass cousin who is determined to get her way, no matter the cost, I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait for the next installment to see what else is Sophia discovers. ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars

Liam and April's story continues and the secrets keep coming out, as well as the danger.
I thought there were secrets in the first installment… Well, wait until you get into this one. There are even more secrets and lies! And be prepared because the ending left me with my mouth wide open; I surely did not see that coming. Now I must wait patiently to see what will become of Liam and April. ~ Kara, 4 stars
Holy crap Anneliese, another cliffhanger and this one is WORSE! Are you done with book 3 yet? Jeez pins and needles here waiting....
Seriously, I think I enjoyed this one more than Hush Hush only because of the intensity that built between the characters. The "get to know you" stage is over. It's time to get hot and steamy and boy did they. Sophia aka April starts to learn what Liam's deep dark secrets are, the kind that mommy and daddy Hawthorne do NOT want to be made public. Liam needs Sophia as much as Sophia is learning she needs him. They seem to be good for each other, yet they don't know that or admit to it.
The tension builds as Sophia gets bolder and bolder trying to get more information on what happened to her parents. Her friend Riley gets in deeper and deeper with her. Her cousin Miranda (crazy girl) comes to town to "help" with the plan. A plan that Sophia is most times clueless about. But Miranda sure stirs the witches pot. Her potion is getting dangerous.
I think I see Sophia starting to question the outcome of her manipulations. What does she want the end result to be? How is Liam affecting that result?
The connection between Liam and Sophia is steamy and intense. Although, I am not sure I totally trust him, I don't think Sophia does either. He teaches her things that she would have never done before so in many ways, Liam is good for her until the bubble pops.
I can't believe the book ended as it did. It is so frustrating to have no more pages to turn after that ending. I hope Anneliese heard me yelling at her from here. Mastermind at cliff hangers for sure!
Great book! Start with Hush Hush 1. You won't be disappointed!
Hush, Hush 2 picks up right where Hush, Hush ended. April is ready for Liam to train her into submission. He hopes she is ready for what he has in store for her. And April is still trying to figure out how to get back at The Hawthorne's and everybody that set them up. It's easier said than done when her body reacts to Liam which makes her mind go blank with all the pleasure...
April finds out more and more about what happened to her parents and is getting closer to the truth while she is also getting to know about Liam. He has kept it just physical but she senses he will open up if she can get his trust and give him hers. There is more to Liam, and April is determined to find out what his secrets are so she can get to his parents but she also doesn't want to hurt him. What will she do when someone shows up and can change everything?
I like this series since its sexy, suspenseful and keeps my mind going. What is going on? What the hell is Liam up to? Can April keep her feelings in check to seek revenge?
Quotes:
“Yeah, right. I think that would actually be less stressful,” he says.
He seems to swing back and forth between the two, fierceness and sweetness, like a pendulum. And I’m still scrambling to find the rhythm of the motion.
“And what happens after that?” I whisper. “Then you’ll be begging me for new ways to make you sore.”
Hush Hush #2 picks up right where we left off in the first book. April continues with her investigation and the plans to bring down the Hawthornes keep getting more complicated. Darker secrets are revealed and more victims and players are brought to the game, if you enjoyed book one let me tell you this one is even better.
The relationship between April-Sophia and Liam has blurred limits, and not only for her but for him as well is hard to figure out if what they have is more than just sexual. Of course this bring a lot of tension and good heated scenes. Liam starts to reveal more about him and we find out a man with a lot of hidden demons. I like the man-character he is turning out to be. And despite seeming a bit innocent and naivé, April is becoming a stronger and braver person.
This book has a bigger element of danger, April is in a constant state of threat. It's not like she lives afraid but her moves are always calculated and everything she does has a purpose.
There was a twist here that I didn't see coming that left me speechless. What a great move made by the author.
I can't wait to read the next book.

If you have not read Hush Hush #1 then please do no read any further.
This is the continuation of Liam and Sophia’s story. Or more to the point….. April’s story.
As we learned from Book #1 , April is out for revenge. The Hawthorne’s ruined her life. Sending her parents to prison for a crime they didn't commit. Her sole purpose now. To ruin them. And the only way she can get to them is to get to their son…..Liam.
But as April and Liam’s relationship continues, things for April begin to change. Her feelings towards Liam are wavering. Doubt starts to creep in.
Are her feelings for Liam deeper than what she first thought? Is her guard slipping? Is she doing the right thing? Is Liam a monster just like his parents? Is she losing focus?
Again we are taken on a roller-coaster ride. Full of emotion, and full of twists and turns you simply don’t see coming. Lie after, lie, secret after secret, again you are kept guessing to the very end.
Another brilliant read from Anneliese Vandell. We cannot wait to read the next instalment. For us a definite 5 star read.

I receieved an ARC of this book for an honest review. OMG!!!!! I loved Hush, Hush book 1, and book 2 does not dissapoint! In book 2 April is getting closer to the truth, not only about the people behind her parents incarceration, but what Liam is really about. This book also brings you on an even crazier ride when her cousin Miranda, totally betrays April. You get a full variety of mystery, suspence and sexiness like no other in Hush, Hush 2. You also get another cliffy, that leaves you begging for the next book!!! Seriously FANTASTIC!!!!!
Sophia story of revenge continues. She and Liam are now getting closer and she is still trying to piece together all of the puzzle piece together. She feels like she is getting closer. But will she be able to walk away when this is all said and done? Will she finally figure it out?
They mystery continues. I would recommend this to readers that have read the first one and love a good revenge romance story. Just a fore warning Liam is hot.
Oh my god, it cannot end there! Evil cliffhanger is evil! I love this series and I can't cope with waiting for another instalment! I'll be going to preorder book 3 when I'm done here. The plot thickens so much in this book. I don't like posting spoilers so all I'll say is read this book!
April and Liam get to know the limits to their relationship. April tries to meet Liam parents but has a hard time so her cousin comes to her rescue or does she
