I rated 4.5 stars only bcs the finale seemed rushed and I wanted some chapters with them in the future, but the story was good, the characters realistic and the MCs were in love and fully consensual.

i loved nerd project sm and was so excited for every update and then SUDDENLY it ended. and that felt so abrupt, like it shouldn't have ended yet but suddenly had to for some reason. so that was really disappointing and the ending felt quite lacklustre because of that. is my only complaint.

Honestly I get why people think this manhwa has one of the best art styles out there, because there is!! Like literally 😭🤚 I was drooling over every panel of Andrew and Luke.
And I love love love a obsessed top who's down bad for the love of his life 😭🫶

The only complaint I had was the abrupt end, the starting was perfect, the characters were perfect, the art-style was perfect, but the plot and the ending?!?!????? Way too many threads left loose, also the plot felt a little lukewarm to the amount of suspense built throughout, though honestly it's such a feel good manhwa that it made me feel giddy!!!
I loved the smut, like their chemistry is chef's kiss, I saw many people complaining about their chemistry but honestly they really oozed segsual tension and longing with each panel.
Also I love Andrew yeah, but Luke kind of has my heart with how freaking adorable he is~

I feel like I read this wrong because people give such high praise to this manhwa, but it didn't knock my socks off.
The art is pretty, the characters are fine and the story itself is cute and normal. Maybe I set my expectations too high based off the posts I'd seen about Nerd Project before starting.
Luke and Andrew are a sweet couple, though Andrew was kind of annoying at times... also his junk size? Fucking ridiculous. I'm honestly amazed that Luke wasn't just writhing in agony during the sex scenes, because My God.
Andrew at times displayed some obsessive traits which made me think the story would take a darker turn. I remember him purposefully injuring himself so Luke would pay attention to him and not his friend LMAO but it didn't go further than that. Which is fine, the tone shift might've been offputting and sudden, but it was really funny to me
Anyway it was #whatever it's a nice, easy read that doesn't take much of a toll mentally. The acting and theatre scenes were really nice, which is probably the highlight of the entire manhwa for me

4.5, i started reading this when only the first chapter had just been released. I loved it from the very beginning, but I decided to wait until it was completed. Years passed, and i watched it gain more readers and popularity until i could finallyyy read it from start to finish.
Nerd Project is full of beautiful moments, tenderness, tension, and bittersweet emotions. Some plot points felt a little unfinished, and the ending came sooner than i expected, but knowing the author's health circumstances, i was still very satisfied with how it concluded. If we ever get extra chapters, i would love to see much more of both of them ✨

This was the most green flag manhwa I’ve read in a while. Luke and Andrew are absolutely the cutest and it’s feels realistic as hell. I love characters who know how to communicate and if they have misunderstandings they deal with it responsibly. Anyway this was super cute and I can’t wait to read it again whenever I need a pick me up

Wait... that's it!? I was honestly hoping for a longer story. They're just too adorable and I’m so attached to them, huhuhu. The pacing felt rushed and the ending came way too fast. But the story itself was amazing and the art style? It’s 100% my aesthetic! I’m really hoping we get some side stories or spin-offs for them, PLEASEEE! I love this couple so much.

¡Me encantó! Sinceramente no tiene ningún capítulo malo, ni siquiera de relleno. El arte es bonito, la relación también, los personajes secundarios, la historia es buena, etc. Es que nunca te vas a aburrir leyendo esto. Aunque, debo decir que el problema no parece realmente un problema grave, sino un incoveniente de alguien molesto. Lo que si me hubiera gustado es ver al final un poco más de ellos en el futuro porque se siente un poco apresurado, pero de igual forma es lindo.

Why did Nerd Project by G Jyeo have me giggling like a teenage girl 😍
The story follows Luke Davis, a chaotic college dude who just got dumped by his girlfriend Stacy and guess what? It’s because of Andrew Young, the ultimate nerd-coded guy she was obsessed with.
Starts off as this kinda petty and impulsive (like… bro was literally stalking Andrew at first💀) BUT his development is satisfying. He grows into someone more emotionally aware, more respectful, and surprisingly soft. Total golden retriever energy.
Our ML is Andrew ‘Andy’ Young. At first he is cold, intimidating like “don’t talk to me” vibe but later we found he was emotionally complex, guarded, and lowkey traumatized. His growth is slower but deeper—he learns to trust, communicate, and open up.
Plot twist: Luke ends up sharing a dorm with Andrew and decides to make him his “project” (yes, bro literally said “let me study this man”). At first glance, it screams typical BL setup: hot “nerd” + messy popular guy + forced proximity. But it's more than what we expected.
From there it evolves from petty curiosity → emotional dependency → actual feelings. The pacing is kinda slice-of-life but sprinkled with drama and tension, especially with side characters like Malcolm, Bruno, Derek adding spice.
This manhwa is like sprinkles fuff and tension coz misunderstandings and internal conflict especially emotional damage from Andrew’s side. Surprisingly the communication in this manhwa is healthy for a BL. They actually TALK things out and the problem get solved.
Art style manhwa is chef’s kiss with visual appealing art. Luke and Andrew looks so beautiful 😘
Unfortunately, plot can feel a bit aimless at times. Some side characters feel a bit one-dimensional. Pacing in later chapters can drag slightly and the ending just felt kinda rushed to me.
Overall, it’s not perfect, but it’s super addictive and hits that sweet spot between romance and messy feelings. Definitely worth it if you love enemies-to-lovers, roommates with actual emotional payoff.

Está bueno, creo firmemente que Andrew no merece a Luke, pero qué se le va a hacer? Me gustó como se retrató está dependencia en la pareja cuando apenas se establece el vínculo, de igual manera retrata los conflictos de manera muy real, no es solo un malentendido porque no terminó de escuchar una frase importante como siempre pasa, sino que son problemas que se van desarrollando y puedes darte cuenta de lo que está pasando, Luke me pareció un personaje increíble, creo que podría estar entre mis favoritos.
Me parece que hay cosas que no se terminan de cerrar como la actitud rara de Andrew, que a veces parece alguien peligroso, pero en realidad no lo es? Que no se haya aclarando ese punto me deja una impresión de él que no es capaz de relacionarse con demás personas de tu entorno además de su pareja, lo cual no me parece sano, creo que incluso Luke lo menciona pero no se ahonda más adelante sobre ello. Al final se siente como si hubiera un desarrollo en la pareja, más no individualmente en los personajes, Andrew logra hacerse un poco más cercano a su compañero de laboratorio, pero hasta ahí, me hubiera gustado que tocara el tema de que se liberó de su pasado de manera más explícita y en cuanto a Luke, creo que sí hubo un poco más de desarrollo en él, sobre todo cuando aceptó que no le agradaba Bruno, pero de igual manera fue muy superficial, no puedo lograr sentirme cómoda con cómo inició su relación, y me hubiera gustado que se hablara entre ellos sobre eso. Finalmente me gusta muchísimo como la autora expresa las emociones en el dibujo, sobre todo las escenas en dónde ambos están en el cuarto en un ambiente íntimo, siento que son bastante genuinas, por ejemplo cuando Andrew se declara y Luke se emociona, siento que ese tipo de escenas son lo más destacable.

Mình tìm thấy một website tên Nerd Project và chỉ đăng về bộ này, mình kiểu “Wtf, nó có thật đấy à?”
Bỏ qua chuyện đó, truyện tranh này mình tìm theo booktok và mình cảm thấy nó khá oke để đọc.
Bộ này có nét vẽ siêu đẹp, khuôn mặt của Andrew điện ảnh kinh khủng, nhất là đôi mắt cứ hút mình vào, mình cảm giác bạn này đẹp như tạc tượng vậy, mỗi khung hình bạn này xuất hiện đều sáng bừng.
Cốt truyện bộ này khá nhạt, thực sự là như vậy. Mọi sự việc xảy ra cứ đều đều, không có bất cứ một cao trào nào cả. Nhưng cũng không phải điều quá tệ khi chúng ta tập trung nhiều hơn được vào vào mqh giữa Andrew và Luke.
Mình yêu cảnh cuối Andrew đứng ở cửa, hoa để sau lưng. Đẹp kì diệu đến mức mình không biết dùng từ gì để mô tả.
Nói chung bộ này rất nhẹ nhàng, tình cảm. Khá tiếc là có rất nhiều nhân vật xuất hiện nhưng vai trò của họ lại không quá nhiều. Kết hơi vội quá, mặc dù mình biết tác giả không định phát triển thêm nhưng mà trong 1 chap thì hơi gấp thật.

First season was so fucking top-tier. But the second season was a let down as if the author was experimenting, and left it like that halfway through because she got bored. I mean, it did end decently but I was expecting more kicks? I was looking for a more character depth? I guess. It’s pretty decent but I knew there’s more to Andrew Young than what we saw all through out the manhwa. So, this was kinda disappointing for me. Ugh, I was expecting much more. I think everything’s just rushed in the last 10 chapters. This is cute and I was locked in the moment I started and the art style totally kills. The chemistry is electrifying and the details just make my heart flutter!!! But I just needed more.

To be super truthful, I expected a little more from this manhwa because so many people were hyping it up on twitter and tiktok, but then again... when should we ever really trust the people over there?
Despite not exactly meeting my expectations, I still found it really cute, and the art style... wow. They're basically a poster couple, and I haven't thought that since I read Under The Greenlight. The character designs were gorgeous. #drooling.
Ending was super bittersweet!

The art was so freaking beautiful like WOWWW. The story was great and premise of enemies to roommates to lovers always hits. The characters were fun - I will always fall for an autistic and adhd pairing, especially if the uke is the one in charge. He is probably one of my favorite ukes with the way he was confident and knew what he wanted. I also just adore semes that are lowkey obsessed with their uke. He was the one that was feeling out of sorts and wanted to define the relationship. A nerdy loser seme and a cool popular uke hits like crack. My only thing is I wish it was longer but I understand the author had health issues.

Una historia sencilla, pero linda. El conflicto es cotidiano pero interesante la forma en que se desarrolla. Contiene contenido +18 (100% consensuado).
Lo recomiendo, es una lectura tranquila y facil de disfrutar.
Un poquito de información sin spoiler: el personaje mejor construido a mi parecer fue Luke, es una persona con matices y profundidad.
En cuanto al malo de la historia, cumple bien su papel de hacerse odiar.
Y Andrew, bueno el es el motivo de las 4 estrellas, considero que se quedó en el cliché de interés romántico frío y devoto, no está mal, pero pudo ser mejor.

It felt kinda underwhelming , at the beginning they had some potential but the later parts were a little boring. the ending feels so rushed and some parts of the story weren't explored properly like andrew had a back story in the s1 but after they got together author acted like it never existed and andrew had nothing going for him except being lukes boyfriend...just a 2D character .Luke carried this story.

Me recomendaron este manghua pero.me.advirtieron que era vastante 🌶️🌶️🌶️ y lo fue personal historia me encantó. Me gustó mucho ver cómo crecieron como personas los dos y como su amor nació. El dibujo alucinante, el arte fue muy pero muy bueno. Fue una buena lectura...
