A MM Father-son 'cest taboo erotica. It's a short story which is free via the author's newsletter. I'm biased to taboo books so I enjoyed it 😂. It ends kinda abruptly, I want an epilogue! I wanna say this is 5⭐ but due to that I kinda wanna give 4.75⭐.

Miller (50) is the Dad who's successful, caring & filthy in bed. M secretly listens to J's voice acting 🤭. Jeong (26) is the son who's a gymbro but also dresses prettily. I liked his bold stubbornness!

It all starts with needing "relief" & a glory hole... Continues with spicy times, dirty talk & dacryphilia. I think, we all knew One night would never be enough 😂, I wish we'll get more of them! Nova did good job to subtly build their attraction before it explodes.

I hadn't realised it's actually on goodreads! Pretty cool as it goes to my reading challenge 😍.

Look…you either know what you're getting into with this book, or you don't. And if you don't, the content warnings are literally right there.

One Night Only is short, messy, and very unapologetically taboo.

It starts with an anonymous encounter at a club that very quickly turns into a "holy shit" moment when both MMC's realize who they've actually been hooking up with.

From there it's basically one long spiral of tension, bad decisions, and two men who probably should stop…but absolutely don't want to.

The writing flows well, the pacing is fast, and it definitely commits to the chaos of the premise.

If you've read any Nova Burns book before, you know exactly what to expect. And you know you won't ever be left disappointed at the end of it...only wanting more.

Nova has done it again! This was a tabøø novella with all the spice and humour packed into six chapters that feel like I was reading a whole damn book! It’s father/son cest that starts with a little oopsy mix up at a glory hole and turns into something so much more than either of them expected. It was a newsletter bonus and is not available anywhere else.

I got this book as a freebie from her newsletter after I subscribed, which was actually perfect bc I was already thinking about buying it anyway. So yeah, that was a nice surprise.

I will say though… it was SO short. I really wish this was longer. I even wanted to see what was gonna happen the next week. If you read it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

But yeah… does this compare to Double Pumped? Not at all. That novella completely took my breath away. This one was just… okay. Like, average.

I liked the characters, but I didn’t really feel connected to them, if I’m honest. And I wouldn’t even say it’s bc it was short. I’ve read super short stories before, like 50 pages or less, and I’ve connected with the characters SO much. But with this one… I just wasn’t feeling it. It felt like there was a wall there the whole time.

And tbh, that also happens when I read one book right after another, especially if I loved the previous one a lot. It’s just hard to top it. So I’m probably not gonna read anything else for a few hours, just to reset a bit and hopefully enjoy the next one more.

This was a 3⭐️ read for me. Just average. I didn’t get anything special from it, and I didn’t feel that connection I’m usually looking for.

I think part of it is that it felt too primal? Too animalistic? Like it was more about that need rather than an actual emotional connection. Not really like “I feel something for you,” more like “I need you in a primal way,” if that makes sense. And yeah, I think that’s why it didn’t hit the same for me.

I did like the nicknames tho. Those are my favorite lately, so I was happy about that.

Also, it felt a little rushed, which surprised me. The other book didn’t feel rushed at all, the pacing there was amazing. This one just didn’t hit the same.

But yeah, it was okay. I kinda had a feeling I might not love it when I first saw it on the website. I only read it bc I got it for free and I was like, okay, let’s just read it and see.

Didn’t love it, but I’m still 100% gonna keep reading her books. I literally just bought three more bc I really, really loved Double Pumped.

If you’re thinking about reading this, I’d actually recommend Double Pumped instead. Way better imo.

And yeah, just a heads up, this is extremely taboo. Definitely not for everyone, and that’s okay. It was just okay for me.

🖤 Ahh Nova once again DELIVERED!!! One Night Only was so fucking hot, short, and feral, y’all need to sign up to their newsletter like yesterday because you wont want to miss out on this short story! Every time I read one of Novas books I always unlock a new kink or need to research a new one and this time it was dacryphilia. Let me tell you, Miller licking Jee’s tears up was insanely hot 🥵. I definitely need more of Jee and Miller!

2.75 stars. This is a NL's freebie, a taboo short story about a father and son. Although the pacing was very fast for obvious reasons and the text had some cheesy lines, I think it managed to sort of deliver the main idea. The glory hole scene was hot. I just wished the writting felt less juvenile, but at least it was an easy and simple erotica short to pass the time.

Extremely Taboo - Father Son spicy story. Son returns home at the age of 26... working as a spicy book narrator. He and a buddy hit the town and visit a club that has glory holes. Wouldn't you know dear dad heads out as well and just happens to visit the same establishment! The push and pull on this was really great and it sets up for the next book quite nicely. I am all in for Book 2!!
