Marigold “Goldie” James is the heart of Cedar Bluff—her bakery, Honey & Hearth, the town’s sweetest refuge. But when disaster floods her shop, two very different rescuers step Rhea Dalton, the bold, bossy firefighter who burns with confidence, and Tanner Brooks, the steady, golden-boy cop who melts her with every smile.
As the annual Cuffs and Hoses Charity Hockey Tournament pits fire against police, the game for Goldie’s heart gets hotter than ever. But when mysterious accidents threaten the town’s small businesses, it’s up to the three of them to put competition aside—and discover that love, like hockey, is best played with a little heat.
Welcome back to Cedar Bluff, where sugar and spice melt the ice.
You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Cuffs and Hoses Fundraiser Hockey Match, presented by the City of Cedar Bluff and your favorite smut dealer A.M. McCoy.
As an ARC reader, I went into Sugar on Ice with a general idea of what to expect, having read everything I could get my hands on written by A.M. McCoy, but I honestly got so much more than I expected. This book completely consumed my life for a couple of days, and I mean that in the best way possible. I was thinking about these characters when I wasn’t reading, and the second I finished, I just sat there staring at the wall because I didn’t want their story to be over yet.
What I loved most about this book was how emotional and believable everything felt. The relationship wasn’t instant perfection, it was messy, chaotic, confusing, and full of realism that, in truth, most authors cannot achieve to this level. The slow build between the characters made every little moment matter so much more real. The teasing, the tension, the awkward vulnerability, the moments where Rhea and Tanner clearly cared about each other before they were willing to admit it out loud to themselves or to Goldie. The chemistry between the three of them was incredible, but it never relied only on physical attraction. You could genuinely feel the emotional connection growing underneath all the banter and tension.
I appreciated that the characters actually felt flawed and human. Goldie, Rhea, and Tanner all carry emotional baggage and insecurities that affected the way they communicated and handled relationships, which made the conflicts feel realistic instead of dramatic for the sake of drama. There were several moments where my heart genuinely hurt for them because you could see how badly they wanted connection while also being terrified of getting hurt. That emotional push and pull was written so well. I deeply related to Rhea, as I believe many women will, because of the deeply rooted sense that she cannot depend on anyone and if she gives up control she will never get it back.
Can we talk about the dialogue for a moment? So good. Some of the conversations felt so natural that it honestly felt like listening in on real people instead of reading scripted romance dialogue. The flirting was sharp and funny, but there were also quieter conversations that carried a lot of emotional weight. Those softer moments ended up being some of my favorites because they made the relationship feel earned.
The atmosphere of the story also deserves credit because it added so much charm and comfort to the book. There’s this cozy but emotionally intense feeling throughout the story that made it incredibly easy to get lost in. It balanced emotional heaviness with warmth and humor really well, which kept the story from ever feeling too overwhelming.
I think what surprised me most was how attached I became to the characters individually, not just as a triad. I wanted them all to heal and be happy, and by the end I was ridiculously emotionally invested in their outcome. There were scenes that made me grin like an idiot and others that honestly made my chest ache a little (and yes, I cried, you will too!). That’s always the sign of a really good romance for me — when the emotions feel real enough that you carry them with you after you close the book.
This was one of those romances that reminded me why I love A.M. McCoy so much. It was emotional, funny, messy, comforting, romantic, and completely addictive. Definitely a five-star read for me, and I’m already reading it a second time!
Sugar On Ice was such a fun, cozy, and seriously addictive why choose romance. The combination of small-town charm, firefighter versus cop rivalry, hockey tournament chaos, and strong chemistry between all three characters made this incredibly easy to binge. Goldie, Rhea, and Tanner each brought something different to the relationship dynamic, which helped everything feel balanced instead of repetitive. I really loved how naturally the connection developed between them because the emotional support and friendship underneath the attraction made the romance feel genuine. The firefighter versus cop competition added playful tension throughout the story, while the small-town atmosphere gave everything this warm, comforting vibe that balanced perfectly against the spice. And if you’ve read this author before, then you already know the chemistry and heat absolutely deliver here. Beyond the romance, I also appreciated the little mystery element woven into the story because it added just enough tension without taking away from the relationships. Overall, this was flirty, cozy, emotional, and packed with why choose goodness from beginning to end.
Did you think your time in Cedar Bluff was done? Wrong! A.M. McCoy has restocked her Smut supply with a new flavor of spice! Sugar on Ice is the latest book added to her collection, and let me tell you, BOY does it check all the smut boxes! This book will have you laugh, cry, get angry, and be in awe! Marigold “Goldie” James is the soul of Cedar Bluff, and her cozy bakery, Honey & Hearth, is the town’s favorite gathering spot. But after a devastating flood tears through her shop, Goldie finds herself rescued by two very different heroes: Rhea Dalton, the fearless, take-charge firefighter with a fiery streak, and Tanner Brooks, the dependable hometown cop whose easy charm is impossible to resist. As Cedar Bluff’s annual Cuffs and Hoses Charity Hockey Tournament turns firefighters against police officers, the rivalry surrounding Goldie heats up fast. But when a string of suspicious accidents begins targeting local businesses, the trio must put aside their growing competition to uncover the truth. Along the way, they discover that love—much like hockey—is at its best when sparks fly. Through A.M. McCoy’s writing style, you will fall in love with all three characters for their own reasons. You will feel like you are right there in the scene with the characters feeling all the feels alongside them. This is one of many stories by her that you will NOT regret reading!
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Predictability: Just when you think you have it all figured out, she switches up and goes a different way Favorite Character: Jasper - his loyalty, commitment and way that he takes charge. He’s such a flirt and funny! Favorite Quote: shut it, right now. Or ill take you over my knee and let …. spank you
This is the perfect continuation to the Cedar Bluffs series!
Goldie, Tanner, and Rhea are such intricate parts of the community - woven into its fabric so seamlessly. Goldie, the baker. Tanner, the police officer. Rhea, the firefighter.I loved the small town feel that was created, it seemed to shine even brighter in book 2 of this series. The homeyness, the closeness, the sometimes too closeness (Jasper I’m looking at you). It was the perfect representation of the beauty of simplicity.
Goldie is so sweet and bubbly and in your face with her love and care. Tanner is the strong and silent type, and when he speaks everyone listens with intent. And Rhea, oh I absolutely adored her, fiery and spicy, she’s so intense and her sharp whit is amazing.
Watching these 3 navigate their relationship was a masterpiece. Walls were broken down, fantasies came to life, and there was so much respect, love, and true desire that jumped off the page from the very beginning. Goldie is the perfect partner for Rhea and Tanner both one and one, and as the glue that brings the three of them together. Tanner, sweet Tanner, talk about a consent king. The way he approached loving not only Goldie, but ultimately Rhea, was a story in and of itself. And watching Rhea find peace in herself, in what she was building in her community, and the love she found, and finally believed she was worthy of, with Tanner and Goldie was perfection.
The emotion, spice, banter, and plot that is woven into Sugar on Ice is amazing. I will never miss an A.M. McCoy book, she became a one-click author long ago, and her reign stands strong. Do not skip Goldie, Tanner, and Rhea’s story!
Sugar on Ice by A.M. McCoy completely surprised me in the best way possible. This was my first FMF romance and wow... the spice was absolutely top tier, but what really made this book stand out was the emotional depth between the characters.
Rhea ended up being my favorite. After everything she went through in her past, watching her slowly learn to trust and open herself up again was beautifully done. Goldie had this warmth and gentle encouragement that helped break down Rhea’s walls piece by piece, and their connection felt incredibly genuine.
But honestly? Tanner was the glue that held all three of them together. Goldie may have been the spark pushing things forward, but Tanner recognized exactly what both women needed emotionally and gave it freely. He balanced dominance and tenderness perfectly, and the relationship dynamic between the three of them just worked so well.
The small-town suspense subplot kept things moving too. The string of “accidents” happening around Cedar Bluff added tension without taking away from the romance. I really enjoyed seeing the town come together to uncover the truth.
I tried dragging this book out because I didn’t want it to end. Easily one of those reads where you immediately need the next book announcement the second you finish the last page. Especially when the last page is a tease for the next book!
I was fortunate enough to receive and early copy, well because I am all over her socials and can't wait to get my hands on her next book. I love everything she writes!
I love basically all A.M. McCoy's books, haven't read one I didn't like, this one is like the cherry on top of the McCoy Sundae. This is an FFM first responder hockey romance. Goldie, one of our FMCs, is sweet, bubbly, cute, with a filthy mouth. Rhea, the other FMC, is fearless, fiery, and dominant. Tanner, our MMC, is the golden boy outside the bedroom but inside the bedroom 🥵 the heat really turns up. I love when characters grow and blossom, Tanner and really Rhea grow beautifully in this book. The relationship between the three of them felt so natural and real, the chemistry was so palpable. The storyline was amazing, the twists and turn it took kept me hooked, I didn't want to stop reading for even a minute. Do we need to talk about the spice, its an A.M. McCoy book of course its amazing but if we must... I'll leave you with this quote about it: "How many time do you think you can c0me on my tongue while you imagine Rhea and me both doing it to you" - Tanner. Now our side character Jasper who stole some scenes for sure, I really really hope he gets his own book. He's the gay best friend of Goldie and is a bratty sassy gossip. Here are my fav quotes from him: "oh, wow. Good morning, Officer, I didn't know they let you carry a weapon off duty." "Holy mother of humping bunnies coming at Easter time!" and "Oh Lord, it is too hot in here for this, at least take i to the stock cooler so I can watch it later on the security cameras!"

HEA!!!
You know those books that have the perfect amount of everything in them??? And you don’t want them to end??? And the characters are perfect together??!? And they compliment each other. And they make each other better. And they love and support each other. They have those hard conversations and don’t hide from them. They’re honest even when it’s hard. They thrive in supporting each other. Yeah those books??? This is one of them.
I haven’t read many FFM romance books that I truly enjoyed. (I obviously haven’t read them all so I’m open to any recs!) Until this one, Sara Cate has one of the only FFM books I really truly felt and wanted to read again. Some of the others I’ve read, the dynamics just felt off. The personalities felt forced at times. Or they just fell flat. NOT THIS ONE!!
These beautiful, broken, people coming together make something beautiful. Goldie is their glue and their cozy space. She is calm and peace. Rhea is the fire. Legitimately. She holds space for them to both let go. And Tanner. Our secret dominant golden boy. He is their protector. He is their safe place. And together, nothing can break them.
Beautiful. Loved this book. Love the supporting characters and I can’t wait for more of all of them.
Sugar On Ice takes you back to Cedar Bluff, where you get to meet the town baker and two town heroes that are about to make life real interesting.
Goldie is full of sunshine and brightness and taking care of the community. So when trouble lands on her doorstep those around her step up to help. Which means months of secret glances and long distance crushes just might get closer as Tanner the golden boy cop, and Rhea the spunky firefighter decide to help their sweet baker anyway they can.
Now Goldie finds herself between Tanner and Rhea. Both offering something different that makes it impossible to choose. As they navigate feelings, small town drama, and the up coming cuffs vs hoses charity event.
I loved watching the growth in the characters. Watching the rivalry between Tanner and Rhea (because we know cops and firefighters love to against each other) and how it changed throughout the book. The connection between the characters was so well done. And the spice we can't forget about the spice that is always top notch in A.M. McCoy's book.
And I can't not talk about the side characters with main character energy that make the perfect finishing touch to the stories.
So if you are wanting to spend time in a small town, where there will be some drama, characters that leave you obsessed, and not your everyday hockey book, ohhh and hello spice, well then I recommend you reading the Cedar Bluff Penalties Series.
I feel you can NEVER go wrong with a book from A.M McCoy! However I find myself falling in love and obsessing over every book. Sugar On Ice is the second book in a series but could definitely be read as a standalone. It is a why choose. The characters are chefs kiss. I found myself not wanting to stop reading while it is 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy, it also had a really good story that made you feel like you were part of the town and the true heartbreak of the events that are happening to try to destroy what this town has built! I love love love Goldie's character, in a way I feel like that is me with her vibe and esthetic also her innocence or so it seems (no spoilers here). Tanner is a man that every girl wants. The way he is described is melt worthy, seriously so damn dreamy. Then we have Rhea, who I picture as Rhea Ripley but that is just how I visioned what she looked like. She would want to make a straight female curious. Don't belive me read the book.. with the three of them and the town can they put a stop to whats to come that is intended to destroy their little slice of heaven?!?! Don't miss out on this book it has it all and lastly the COMPETITION IS REAL!!!
Holy mother of hockey sticks… A.M. McCoy did it AGAIN.
Happy release day to another absolute masterpiece because I devoured this book like my life depended on it.
This story had me completely feral in the best way possible. The emotions? LOUD. The passion? Scorching. The tension and connection between these characters had me hooked from the start, and once I started reading I genuinely didn’t want to stop.
And if you know me, you know I rate books based on how they make me feel — and this one made me feel EVERYTHING.
I laughed. I melted. I stressed. I got emotional. I was kicking my feet one minute and biting my nails the next.
The characters were incredible and the growth throughout the story made me love them even more. Their chemistry together felt natural, emotional, messy, passionate, and so damn addictive.
And the spice?? Chef’s kiss. 💋
This book is packed with heart, heat, tension, and all the chaotic emotional goodness that makes a romance unforgettable.
The amazing smut dealer known as AM McCoy , has outdone her self once again with this wonderful book. Sugar on Ice is definitely living up to its name and delivering sugary goodness with the right amount of spice and plot!
As an ARC reader, went into this with knowledge that it’s gonna be amazing and I’m gonna love it. Well it blew past that. This book was so good, Ally never fails to amaze me when it comes to her books!
I thought I couldn’t fall in love with characters any harder than what I have before but here comes Tanner, Rhea and Goldie. And once again these 3 got me hooked and obsessed that I couldn’t put the book down it was so good, even with adding in that special side character. And the spice that comes with this is seriously amazing, Ally knows how to write why choose and she does it well!!
10/10 recommend this book and the series alone with just the first two books! If you wanna kick your feet and cry with your eyes and thighs this is the book for you!
Great FFM small town romance with friends to lovers and enemies to lovers dynamic, food play, men & women in uniform and tug of war love triangle. Second book in the Cedar Bluff Penalties series, but can also be read as a standalone.
I really enjoyed this book! The characters were great and they had amazing chemistry. I liked the relationship development between all 3 main characters, Goldie, Rhea & Tanner, and how they worked out their differences and navigated their feelings towards each other. And the spicy scenes between all 3 of them really were delicious!
The plot was interesting and kept me hooked. And I loved the ending and how everything worked out. I highly recommend checking out this book.
This was the first book I read from the author and now I need to read more!
“I want to know what you imagined. I imagined you in front of me, him behind me. Both of you wanting me. Touching me. Telling me I was yours.”
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
The second book in this series did not disappoint. It is a very spicy why choose romance but has a solid plot that keeps your attention.
What worked for me: • Goldie is sweet and kind, but becomes a fierce protector of Rhea and Tanner • Rhea guards her heart and is slow to trust, but discovers she is safe with Goldie and Tanner • Tanner is steady and patient while being totally devoted to Goldie and Rhea • Small town vibes with no 3rd act breakup.
Overall, I rate it 4.5⭐out of 5 which means I really enjoyed this, consider it a great book, and recommended it. I'm very likely to read this again, but fell just a tiny bit short of taking up space permanently on my Kindle. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author in the future.
I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this book from the author; however, all opinions are my own.
I fell absolutely in love with each of the characters!
Goldie captured my heart so so quickly. She truly lives up to her name with her heart of gold and kindness! I love watching her growth and step into more of her “power” as she grows more and more secure in her relationship! She truly is the heart and soul of the town and everyone knows it!
Rhea is hot hot hot! A strong presence who softens slowly. She falls hard for Goldie and fast. She has a slow burn but passionate relationship with Tanner! Watching them fall for each other and learn how to trust each other is absolutely mesmerizing!
Tanner, our sweet sweet golden boy, is such a gentleman and caters to his girls every needs. He’s selfless and sweet, but don’t worry he’s got bite too!
This book has it all! Drama, tension, heat, shocking twists and true emotion! This was a cannot put down book for me! As always AM McCoy truly captures you into this world!
~Sugar On Ice~Cedar Bluff Penalties Book 2~A.M. McCoy~
“Don’t be the strongest person in the room. Not this room. This room is ours. We’re here. And you’re safe. In this room, let us take care of you.”
♡This was the perfect continuation to this amazing series & the fact that we got to see all the characters from book one made it even better!
Goldie, Rhea, & Tanner are all Frontline workers of Cedar Bluff & they each play vital roles in the community. Goldie is our bright & sweet bakery owner, Rhea is our spicy & intense firefighter, & Tanner is our golden retriever police officer who can take charge when needed.
The three of them coming together (pun intended because the spice in this book was top-tier) was full of hilarious banter, so much chemistry, & of course on the edge of your seat tension that kept me hooked from beginning to end! I can't wait to see what comes next in this series (PLEASE LET IT BE JASPER)!♡
This spicy hometown romance delivered exactly what I wanted: tension, heart, and enough small-town chaos to keep every chapter entertaining. The grumpy/sunshine dynamic absolutely carried the story, with the broody firefighter trying very hard to resist the relentlessly lovable main male character — and failing spectacularly. There's also some major golden retriever energy, and underneath it all is more that wants to be unleashed. The chemistry was intense, and the spice definitely lived up to the hype.
What really made this stand out, though, was the small-town setting. Between gossiping neighbors, community events, and business pressure, the story felt messy in the best way possible. Every side character seemed to know everyone else’s business, which made the romance even more entertaining.
If you love romances with emotional banter, protective heroes, spicy scenes, and a cozy but dramatic small-town atmosphere, this one is absolutely worth picking up.
Sugar On Ice was the perfect mix of sweet and spice! The tension between Rhea and Tanner in the beginning was great! Their banter back and forth was great, especially when it was getting Rhea all worked up! There was a lot of competition between Rhea and Tanner on who was going to steal Goldie's heart. The pivotal moment in the book where everything changed was chef's kiss! This book had highs and lows and times where it brought me to tears. There's also some absolutely hilarious moments that had me rolling! Tanner's the golden good boy, but in the bedroom he is the perfect man! Rhea is a ball of fire and I loved watching her character develop throughout the book. Goldie is well golden! She was the perfect sugar to all of the spice! Hands down I absolutely recommend this book if you love FFM, why choose, and hockey romance!
I don’t think I have read a book quite like this where I was rethinking my life choices 😂
Everyone needs a Goldie, Rhea and Tanner in their lives! So many emotions with the characters and they seemed to just fit.
I loved the strength, passion and no bull storyline. They went after what they wanted and there was no break up or silly misguided issues.
Goldie’s tactics had me in giggles! Her push and manipulation antics showed exactly what type of person she is. Rhea had such vulnerability and strength that had me thinking of extra possibilities! Tanner *Fans face 👌* my god what a lovely man! The good bad boy when needed!
The spice OMFG!!! The scene at around 50%. Wow just wow!!!
I hope there is another book sooo badly!
2nd book of the series and I am salivating for a 3rd x
A.M. McCoy does it again! I have no doubts with any of her books. The emotional baggage that affected the way they communicated and handled relationships, There were several moments where my heart just broke for them because you could see how badly they wanted to be together but also being terrified of getting hurt. Goldie is literally so sweet, but she knows what she wants. And what she wants is her bakery, Tanner, and Rhea. Tanner golden boy cop is the most respectful man there is..... but dominant in the bedroom. Rhea I truly feel for her with her insecurities. But with Goldie and Tanner they don't let her feel that way. The chemistry between the three of them was incredible, You could genuinely feel the emotional connection growing underneath all the banter and tension. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy (chef's kiss), but also an amazing story line.
A.M. McCoy completely delivers with this book! The plot is incredibly engaging and kept me thoroughly entertained from the very first page to the absolute end. Rhea, Tanner, and Goldie are the perfect mix—sweet but sassy, reserved but dominant, and always a little feral for the people they love. The chemistry between them is electric, and the dynamic is flawlessly written. The balance here is fantastic; the romance is incredibly high-heat and satisfying (a solid 3/5 on the spice scale!), but it never overshadows the actual plot. It is packed with a perfect blend of hockey, polyamorous relationships, sexy firefighters (both men and women), small-town drama, action, and adventure—all topped off with a deep, fierce sense of love. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. An easy 4 stars!
On a scale of milk to jalapeño, the spice here is a scorpion pepper. Oh, and there's a plot line too.
But for real, this one is so good. The storyline is something that is unfortunately happening to small towns everywhere, but exaggerated for a really good plot line.
The internal growth is amazing. All three characters start in their own little bubble, and they all come together and this perfect, spicy bubble. Goldie, Rhea, and Tanner all learn something about not just each other, but more importantly themselves.
The way that the whole town supports all of these characters is what all stories need, really. That's something I find a lot of stories are lacking - the perspective of the characters in society. I found it a refreshing change of pace to actually see this.
Thank you, A.M. McCoy, for the ARC opportunity. This honest review has been left voluntarily.
I knew I’d love this story because book one, Overtime Positions, was awesome! FFM isn’t a dynamic I read too often because I just love reverse harem a little too much. Given that bit of information, i will say that I was pleasantly surprised on how much i really liked this dynamic as a palate cleanser for all those reverse harems I’m used to.
Rhea, Tanner, and Goldie are the perfect mix - sweet but sassy, reserved but dominant, and always a little feral for the people they love. I enjoyed the spice level as well as the plot. It kept me entertained from page one. Would definitely recommend for those who love hockey, poly relationships, sexy firefighters (men and women), small town drama, action, and adventure with a sprinkle of love.
Book 2 is a stand alone why choose in the Cedar Bluff series by Am McCoy and she did not disappoint in this book. Reading through I found myself not being able to put it down. Rhea, Goldie, and Tanner complete each other in a way that makes you squeal. There’s trouble in town when mysterious accident start occurring as Rhea (our resident firefighter) and Tanner (the golden boy police officer) put their heads together to figure it out while Goldie provides centering for them and the community with her bakery. The spice is hot, this book made me laugh, cry, kick my feet, and fall into love with another Am McCoy novel.
Really liked the dynamics between the three MC's. So much more to the story than smut. Definitely worth the read. Amazing character grow and suspense at the end.

Wow! Let’s start with that! The triple dynamic of sweetness, calming, and reserved between Goldie, Tanner and Rhea hits the spot! And I don’t mean just in my soul 😉 the spice and the banter is unlike any other. This book has my ❤️. Who knew a bakery owner, a cop and a firefighter could heat up any room they walk into?! On a serious note, the way the characters come together and the battles they have to face not only in their relationship but to save their town is nothing short of amazing. Perfectly written and yes I did swoon, cry, and laugh throughout this entire book! I’d gladly let those three into my life at anytime! Definitely will be a re read for me! A.M McCoy never fails!!!
First, can we talk about perfection… because I found it! Ahhh this book is GOLD! So deliciously good yet sweet and savory.
Goldie is literally just that. Gold. Heart of gold and wears it on her sleeve for all to see. Goldie and her bakery are this small town's heart and soul. She is incredibly sweet and innocent looking but do not be fooled, because this baker is H.O.T hot and has no problem vocalizing what she wants. Goldie is the definition of BOLD! And what she wants is her bakery Honey & Hearth, Tanner, and Rhea.
Tanner AKA golden boy cop falls hard for Goldie. Always getting his morning fix at her bakery, delish food and coffee and a glimpse of Goldie herself. After a year of holding back he finally makes his feelings known to Goldie which are very much reciprocated. Tanner is the most respectful man there is. He is a calm and steady presence. But also... dominant in the bedroom.
Rhea is a firefighter who also falls hard and fast for Goldie and a little slower for Tanner. I truly feel for Rhea and her insecurities. She has things she needs to work through, then pile on small town drama, and injustice, she is truly tested. But the ever presence of Goldie and Tanner will light her way.
Loved seeing these three navigate their new relationship. Such different personalities that meshed to make the perfect trio. The personal growth of each individual was inspiring. Seeing Tanner and Rhea also become a couple was my favorite part. These two learn to trust each other and love one another just like they do with Goldie and it fills the heart with so much love and joy.
Now, the drama. I wanted to not so politely end some of these side characters. I am glad that after a very hard and emotional journey, justice was finally served. The tension and reading scenes unfold had me at the edge of my seat wishing I could read a little faster!
So many aww, lol, wow, spicy and da*n moments. This book was pulling all the emotions out of you. Seeing past characters had me yelling YASS. Love these little moments so much. Tobe and Emmie were a hoot and I loved them so much more! Wild BFF. And hello GIRL POWER!
I could obviously go on forever about this book, so do yourself a favor and add it to the TBR and if it's already on there time to pull it off the shelf!
I adore the Cedar Bluff community and A. M. McCoy's writing. Juat when you think you know what's happening, you really don't. This is an edge of your seat (nail biting not required) story full of plot twists.
Goldie, Rhea and Tanner... Their story of finding themselves and over coming hardships is chef's kiss. I absolutely love the energy they each bring to the mix. They truly balance each other in different ways.
A.M McCoy is an autobuy author for me. Sugar On Ice just nails it home on why. Run and read this series. Or just this book cause it's an interconnected standalone. You won’t regret it!
She did it again! Another home run of a book! Going back to Cedar Bluff Penalties did not disappoint! The character growth was beautifully done. Goldie sweet yet spicy vibes were everything! The way the characters came together despite the obstacles was just beautiful! The 3 main characters all had such different dynamics that just blended together perfectly and balanced amazing. The healthy competition turning to complete compassion and understanding was so well done. And the spice … she will forever be my favorite one handed reading author!!! Not to mention an amazing side character who brings so much laughter and sass!
Yet another great ARC read! Cedar Bluff is back ! Goldie Tanner and Rhea are a perfect mix! Goldie is the local sweetheart! Literally running her dream bakery and cafe with her happy bubbly personality! Tanner the town golden boy cop full of patience and calming nature …. Until dominant bedroom Tanner comes out 😉. Then there is Rhea female firefighter bringing her strength bravery and a whole lotta stubborn attitude into the mix! The banter will have you laughing out loud, and the connection and spice between the 3 of these characters is on point! I cannot wait to continue my journey getting to know the people of Cedar Bluff!!
