Their Villainess Guild Master

Rate this book
I was supposed to die a villainess. Instead, I’m opening a barter-friendly adventurer’s guild in the kingdom— if the Government Guild doesn't shut us down first.

When I woke up as Claudia Falcrest, the doomed villainess of my favorite video game, I knew exactly how my story was supposed to disgraced, exiled, and married off to a creepy noble.

Hard pass.

I decided to pen my own happy ending. My plan? Renovate the ruins of an old building into an independent adventurer's guild for the common folk.

But I didn't expect my very first recruit, a highly judgmental, delightfully chubby kitten, to trigger a hidden magic system. Or for that system to reveal that the "worthless" rejects cast aside by the elitist government guild are actually hidden gems with top-tier potential.

Take Clay, the sweet, hardworking archer everyone insists is F-rank. Or Axel, the snarky assassin trying to outrun his dark past. And then there's Griffin, the earnest paladin carrying the crushing shame of a broken oath. To the rest of the world, they’re failures. To me? They’re exactly the family I've been looking for.

But the government guild isn't about to let a bunch of "rejects" threaten their monopoly. With my aristocratic father threatening to pull my funding and the old guard actively sabotaging our quests, I have exactly three months to prove our worth.

Perfect for fans of Legends & Lattes! If you love cozy fantasy, slow-burn sweet romance (Why Choose/Reverse Harem), litRPG elements, and found family, you'll love Their Villainess Guild Master.

( This is a low-stakes, heartwarming cozy fantasy. No dark themes, no world-ending wars, and fade-to-black romance. Just cozy vibes, sweet moments, and a supposed to be villainess claiming her own happily ever after!)

Absolutely amazing cannot wait for the next one!!!! it’s giving isekai anime. The perfect combination of two of my favorite things reading romance books (reverse harem) and anime.

It was alright. Isekai. Not a villainess. Slow burn on the guys, felt more focused on the guild building element. soft on the relationships. Bit of a countdown with the father and the murderer. Glad the guild guy came around. Probably not one I'd jump to continue.

Sweet read!

You don't need to have played a RPG before reading this book, but a little background helps to 'see' this world better.

First book I've read from this author and I really enjoyed it.

Interesting Premise, Just Too Slow for Me

I was really excited to pick up this book because it combines several of my favorite genres: LitRPG, reverse harem, and base building. Unfortunately, I found the pacing a bit too slow for my liking.

The FMC spends most of the first month simply trying to survive by taking enough jobs to pay the bills and clean up the base. I wish the world system had interacted with her more and rewarded her currency, food, or materials for completing small missions to help move the story along.

I did appreciate that the FMC is courageous and hardworking. However, it felt a bit strange that she would go on missions despite lacking strong combat abilities. She always manages to solve the situation and keep her team safe, but it sometimes felt unrealistic and out of place.

Personally, I found myself getting bored with the story and there was also very little romantic tension between the FMC and her guildmates. I was hoping for more spice, emotional moments, or meaningful conversations to add excitement and depth to the relationships.

That said, I do commend the author for trying something different within the genre. While I probably won’t pick up the next book because of the slow pacing, I don’t regret giving this one a try.

Super cozy RPG or Dungeons and Dragons vibe book where you follow the FMC as she creates a found family, helps the town, and builds strong connections with the guild members. There is almost no romance in this book. just very sweet moments of connections being made, until the last 5%, where there is a small moment that hints at something more.
I will be keeping an eye out for the next book. I would probably buy a physical copy for my cozy romatasy shelf if I could.

A sweet transmigration novel

This was a sweet book about found family and making your own destiny. I liked the characters and the plot. I truly felt angry at the judgy antagonists, and touched by the tender moments. It was a fairly quick read with slow burn romance, reverse harem plot.

Nice and cozy

I couldn’t have picked a better book for rainy weather. This was a warm hug in book form set in a fantasy game. The conflict isn’t overwhelming neither trite. The characters are lovable and I can’t wait to read the sequel and get to know them better. I will be adding this to my cozy reread list.

Super cute and cozy RH!

A really cute and cozy isekai MMMF reverse harem/poly romance. I would have loved more scenes between the main characters, but it was honestly really well paced. Very low angst as problems were solved quickly, and the plot and characters were fun and well written. Really looking forward to more books in the series!
