One reckless kiss turns control into something dangerously close to want.

Lucy only wants to survive her cousin’s wedding without letting her ex see how much he hurt her. She makes an impulsive choice, climbs into the lap of the most dangerous man in the room, and kisses him like he's hers. It’s supposed to be a performance. Five minutes. Maybe ten.

But Luca doesn’t do anything halfway. He sees the hurt under Lucy’s sharp humor, the courage beneath her chaos, and the way she keeps choosing him even when his world should send her running. What begins as a fake engagement starts pulling them both into something hotter and harder to pretend away.

Lucy is used to making herself smaller after being left behind. Luca is used to controlling everything before it can touch him. Together, they become something neither planned: reckless, intimate, funny, dangerous, and far too real to walk away from. Every choice pulls them closer, from public pretending to private truth.

Lucy grows from a wounded woman trying to prove she’s moved on into someone who can recognize her own desire and choose love without treating herself like a consolation prize. Luca shifts from a controlled man who understands possession better than vulnerability into someone who learns that wanting Lucy means giving her choices, protecting without trapping, and letting care matter more than control. Their relationship turns a reckless lie into a physical, emotionally risky bond built on power, trust, tenderness, and consent.

An ultra-steamy mafia romance where fake love turns real through instant attraction, forced proximity, found family, and a possessive hero learning that control means nothing without care. It’s about trust after betrayal, choosing vulnerability, and finding safety with someone dangerous enough to protect you, but careful enough to let you choose him.

The Elevator Pitch: After a desperate kiss meant to wound an ex, a wounded bridesmaid is pulled into the orbit of a dangerous mafia heir who sees too much and offers protection with a price neither of them understands yet. Their fake engagement becomes a private test of trust, power, and want as family pressure and real chemistry close in around them. What begins as a lie turns into a choice neither can make safely, but both are drawn toward anyway.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

Her Actions Had Unexpected Consequences -
When Lucy decided to fake a relationship to prove a point, she never expected her actions to change the trajectory of her life. Luca may have been shocked by Lucy’s actions, but he found himself enjoying what was going on and didn’t was to let go of her. Lucy soon found herself on a whirlwind adventure where Luca’s family embraced her and trying to turn the fake relationship into a real one.

Even though Lucy was apprehensive about her growing feelings for Luca, she found herself enjoying a mind blowing night together, but what really shook her was what occurred when they got to the Bahamas. Lucy may have been hesitant about the changes, but her heart finally opened up to building a future with Luca over time. This is a passionate and exciting romance story with a subtle mafia twist, that will take you on a fantastic rollercoaster ride, as you eagerly turn the pages. This book is a definite must read.

Lucy and Luca

MY WEDDING MAFIA STYLE is part of the multi-authored Wedding Season series. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, fake dating, girl gets her mafia man romantic comedy. Lucy is a sweet and curvy woman who is attending her cousin's wedding and sees her ex. Luca is an intense, hunky mafia man.  Lucy goes over to Luca at the wedding and asks him to be her fake boyfriend for 10 minutes and he agrees. He quickly realizes how much he truly likes her. These two had great chemistry, the banter was hysterical, and the ending was so happy. I loved it and want books for all the sisters.

I loved this book! The MFC and MMC were so great as well as the side characters. I loved how they interacted. The story line and premise were unique, but I could have easily used a couple hundred more pages!

I am in Love

A wonderful, heart warming story I totally read twice. Charming (slightly intimidating) people, exquisite settings, so much laughter and a romance leading to a delightful happy ending.

Lucy Phillips only needs a fake fiancé for ten minutes. That’s it. Just long enough to prove she’s moved on. The stranger she chooses is Luca Moretti. Handsome, a bit dangerous, and very calm under pressure. Luca may be American, but he cannot deny his family roots. He’s very, very Italian.

I had so much fun writing this book because it let me play with two things I love: over-the-top romantic fantasy and grounded emotional vulnerability.

On the surface, My Wedding Mafia Style is a wedding romcom with fake engagement chaos, mafia family pressure, glamorous travel, and one very inconveniently perfect man. Beneath all that sparkle, though, it’s really about a woman who has been made to feel foolish for wanting love and a man who has been pushed toward marriage for all the wrong reasons.

Lucy is not looking for a mafia prince with a wildly involved family, let alone the crazy cast of characters who seem determined to make his love life their personal project.

Lucy is not looking for someone who can sweep into her world and start rearranging everything with money, charm, and an alarming amount of confidence.

But Luca looks at her and sees something her ex never did. He sees her heart, her creativity, and her courage. Lucy has a tendency to panic first and think second, which honestly makes her one of my favorite heroines to write.

Luca surprised me in the best way. I knew he would be protective and carry a subdued power you could feel in his presence. I knew his family would be heavily invested in seeing him married. But what I loved most was watching him become tender. With Lucy, he slowly becomes softer, funnier, more vulnerable, and completely undone.

One of my favorite parts of this story is the way the fake engagement keeps growing legs. What starts as a spontaneous kiss turns into wedding reception whispers, family expectations, yacht conversations, sun-soaked Bahamas moments, and a ring that means much more than anyone expected when the lie first began.

This book also gave me the chance to lean into a very specific fantasy: what if the man who pretends to be yours in public begins to choose you in private?

If you enjoy fake fiancé romance, possessive but tender heroes, wedding chaos, meddling families, glamorous escapes, and a heroine who accidentally kisses her way into the most complicated happily-ever-after of her life, I hope My Wedding Mafia Style gives you laughter, swooning, and maybe a little wish fulfillment too.

Enjoy,

Mafia Romance.
Lucy, a young woman attending her friend's wedding as a single woman, didn't expect to see her ex-boyfriend and her date there. While he was showing off with his new girlfriend, she decided to sit on his lap and kiss the handsome man sitting at a nearby table. She didn't expect that this man to be Luca Moretti, one of the Mafia bosses.
Luca came to the wedding with his family, but all he wanted was to leave. That is, until the beautiful woman came and sat on his lap in front of his family, who already imagined them married.
Will Lucy and Luca have a beautiful love story, or will Luca's family frighten Lucy…

A fake relationship, a Mafia boss, and a slightly overbearing family the perfect mix for a literary love at first sight…

'But somewhere between the champagne, the chaos, and Luca’s wicked smile… our fake relationship starts to feel dangerously real. And when his larger-than-life family decides I belong to them? Walking away might not be an option. Because Luca Moretti doesn’t just pretend to claim what’s his…He keeps it.'

The characters drove the storyline and they were very appealing and likeable and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

This is a short steamy humorous story that brings a fractured girl to the arms of a powerful mafia Don. Sparks, steam, passion end in love.

Lucy needs a boyfriend to hide from her family at the latest wedding function, so she kisses the first man she encounters, Luca. He is the Don of a mafia family who is taken by her at first sight, so he is open to faking the relationship even taking her to a destination to enjoy their time. Passion -scorching type one- ensures that they are bonded to each other.

This was such a great read, funny steamy and light !!!.

I can't say enough about how fun this book was. I giggled throughout, smiled a lot and had my eyebrows visit my hairline a time or two. I definitely recommend diving into this one if you like a gal looking to deal with an ex at a wedding and she finds the one man that no one thought would be 'used' for such a reason. Luca can't help himself when Lucy sits on his lap and kisses him. He plays along and suddenly, his entire family is invested... I won't blow the rest of the plot, just know it's a one-sit reading ride that will make your whole being feel good. Well done!
