Livie Blackwood has built her entire life on fragile, glittering lies. In society's ballrooms she is perfection, but beneath the silks beats the heart of a woman raised on the open sea-and one misstep could expose the pirate's daughter she truly is. When she's blackmailed into marrying an influential baron, Livie has limited options . . . until Grayson Valle enters her world.
Cold, relentless, and carved by vengeance, Grayson sees far too much. He's hunting the rumored, elusive, pirate Elias Blackwood-Livie's father-and discovering her ties to him gives Grayson the perfect weapon to draw the man out. But Livie is nothing like he fierce, brilliant, infuriatingly brave-and dangerously captivating.
As secrets unravel and their fates entwine, Grayson and Livie are forced into an alliance that threatens both their missions. On a path paved with lies, betrayal, and a desire neither dares to name, they must choose whether to destroy each other... or risk everything for a love as wild and treacherous as the sea.

This book had me in a chokehold: a pirate romance, yes sign me up! I loved every minute of this book and devoured it in one weekend.
The enemies to lovers trope is one of my favorites, and The Pirate’s Daughter does it very well. I really enjoyed the banter between the FMC and MMC and the dual POV really enhanced the story.
I highly recommend this book if you love pirates and historical romances.
Okay, Jodie had my number as I've been ranting about the need for a solid pirate romance for a wee bit. This was a fun, fast read with a lot of old-time details that helped me really mesh with the world.
Met the author at a book fair event and she was darling so I wanted to love it and to be fair, the first 90% of the book was really good! I just felt like the ending wrapped everything up to easily and quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a happy ending but I wish it would have been a little more challenging.
