The Wrong Mafia Bride: A Dark Mafia Why-Choose Arranged Marriage Romance

Rate this book
I pickpocketed my way into a mafia family at nine years old.
Patrick O’Connor caught my hand in his pocket, laughed, and took me home.

He gave me his name.
His protection.
And one rule.

Protect his daughter.

For twenty years, I've done exactly that.

So when my stepsister—the Irish Mafia’s golden princess, promised to an Italian kingpin since before she could walk—begs me to help her run away with the man she actually loves…

I don't hesitate.

The plan is simple.

Dante Salvatore has never seen his bride.
No one in the Italian syndicate has.

They were always meant to meet at the altar.

So I put on Erin's dress.
I take her name.
And I marry the most dangerous man in Italy.

That night, Dante Salvatore looks at me like he already owns the world.

“Finally,” he murmurs. “Mine.”

I swallow. “Your wife. I'm just your wife.”

His dark gaze pins me in place.

“Not just my wife,” he says quietly. “You are my wife.”

Dante Salvatore didn’t build a mafia empire by trusting pretty lies.

He's watching me. Testing me. Waiting for the moment I slip.

Luca De Rosa—green eyes, snake tattoos, and a smile that promises nothing good—treats me like I'm more than a pawn in someone else's war.

One night Dante orders him out of his wife's seat.

Luca only laughs.

“You mean our wife.”

The room goes quiet enough to remind everyone exactly whose ring I'm wearing.

Gabriel Salvatore, Dante’s cousin and my new bodyguard, sees through every smile I fake.

Three powerful mafia men.

One stolen bride.

The lie was supposed to buy Erin her freedom.

Instead, it may start a war between empires.

And somehow the orphan they adopted to protect the princess…

has become the woman wearing the crown.

Because if Dante discovers I’m not the Irish princess he married…

He won't just destroy me.

He'll keep me exactly where he wants me.

And the most dangerous truth of all?

For the first time in my life…

I'm not sure I want to escape.

Para qué drogarme pudiendo leerme esto?
Le doy un 4 estrellas porque maja, a cuento de qué la protagonista es super dura y de repente se vuelve blandita?

Nononono.

Por lo demás, un 10. Amé la historia y el desarrollo.

I loved the concept of this story and the characters very much. The reason I gave it three stars was because quite a few elements were not available in the books time frame. The year is suppose to be 1971, yet cell phones, fancy coffee machines and video game systems are all listed, not to mention the pregnancy test.

“The Wrong Mafia Bride” by Vivy Skys is a book of an alternate lifestyle. Contains Grief, loss, murder, sexual explicitness, insta attraction/love, found family, and acheiving freedom and a more than happy ending. Absolutely not for everyone but this author’s writing was amazing. Building a story line and well developed characters that pull you in and you fall in love with them.
Rosalina Carter is our beautiful, hazel eyed, curly haired MFC.
She was adopted by Seamus O’Connor to protect the O’Connor’s Irish Princess, Erin O’Connor. Her now half sister.
Who is to marry Dante Salvatore in an arranged marriage between Irish O’Connor’s and the Salvatore’s Italian Mafia. But Erin is in love with
Dolan, a low level guard of her father’s. So Rosalina for what she always does..step in and protect Erin. Donning the wedding dress and marrying Dante.
We have three MMC’s…
Gabriel Salvatore is tall, with an athletic build, buzz cut hair, and beautiful gray eyes. He’s Dante’s cousin. She’s always stealing and wearing his cloths.
Luca is Dante’s half brother. He’s handsome with light colored curls worn longer. A flirty ladies man that always on the move for another.
Dante Salvatore, Prince of the Italian Mafia, soon to be Don. He’s tall, broad shoulders with curly blond hair and ocean antic blue eyes.
Three rings. Three promises…One from Donte promising himself, “Completely. Eternally. Irrevocably.”
One from Gabriel promising, “My heart, my strength, my loyalty”. And Luca promising, “My joy, my soul, my love”.
With these four finding a home they never even dreamed of. Breaking convention and rules.
These mafia men found that they were meant to be Fathers. Husbands. Family. A family worth dying for but most importantly, worth living for.
I loved that Rosalina was always stealing the men’s shirts and hoodies. And I loved she was an innocent. To truly be theirs and theirs alone.

💕Emotional, Heartbreaking and Heartwarming, all in One Phenomenal Story!
OMG! You know that feeling when you pick up a book by a favorite author and you know it’s going to be good, but then it’s even better? Vivy Skys delivers one of her best stories in this latest addition to the series. It is a soulful, heart-wrenching, but beautiful story.

Set in 1971, this story goes back in time to introduce the readers to a young Rosalina (Gwen’s Nana Rose from Bratva King’s Secret Twins). It has everything you are looking for: beautifully written characters, an emotional storyline and just the right amount of angst and steam to make the pages turn. Rosalina takes her sister’s place in an arranged marriage and ends up with not just one husband but three. Dante, Gabriel and Luca have a history of sharing their lovers, so when she marries Dante, she belongs to them all.

Here's an excerpt that I love:
I look at Luca again—really look at him this time, let my gaze travel over the sharp line of his jaw, the way his shirt clings to broad shoulders, the casual strength evident in every line of his body like violence is something he wears comfortably. Then I glance at Gabriel—solid and calm and dangerously competent in that quiet way that makes you forget how lethal he is until it is way too late. And finally at Dante, who is watching me with an expression I cannot quite read but that makes something low in my stomach flutter traitorously.
Three men.
Three handsome, powerful, dangerous men who apparently want to share me like I am some kind of communal property.

This is a semi-dark romance with an ending that has the emotional impact of Sparks’s “The Notebook”. I definitely recommend getting this amazing book! It's laced with drama, family issues, death, angst, intrigue, and twists that make for a very addicting read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

A simply captivating and heartfelt read, you will love Rosalina and her three life long loves
Rosalina had been adopted by Seamus O’Conner when she had been nine years old, he had been visiting a children’s home when she had picked his pocket and he had decided there and then that they were going to be adopting her and she was to become part of the O’Conner Clan.
She had also gained a sister Erin who she had been trained by Seamus to fight and protect her against any enemy that might come calling or who might want to do harm to her sister or her adopted father or the rest of the clan but she had learned that she his real daughter when he had legally adopted her.
When Erin had been given to Dante Salvatore in marriage she had spoken to Rosalina and admitted she was in love with someone in the family, Rosalina had agreed to help on the day of the wedding by taking her sisters place and had married Dante in her place.
They had a wonderful life together and Rosalina and Erin had remained close and their children had grown up together, Rosalina had settled down with the three loves in her live Dante, Luca and Gabriel and they had been a devoted and happy family that had loved and laughed and lived life to the full.
I will not spoil the plot by giving away too much but will say that I am very much looking forward to reading and reviewing future books by this author.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Love Comes in Different Forms -
Even though Rosalina was upset with her, she agreed to take her place in the marriage alliance with Dante, but she never expected him to discover the switch. However, not long after Rosalina and Dante sealed their union, Gabriel revealed the truth, but she never expected his reaction after the secret was revealed. Dante, Gabriel and Luca made an agreement with Rosalina, that led to them embarking on a wild and steamy adventure together.

Unfortunately, not long after Rosalina, Dante, Gabriel and Luca settled into their new relationship dynamic, her life was upended when she received a telephone call that changed her life. Unfortunately, Rosalina didn’t realise that the telephone call was the beginning of a chaotic few weeks that were both positive and negative, but she soon discovered Dante, Gabriel and Luca truly loved her and would actually lay down their lives for her.

Luckily, Rosalina, Dante, Gabriel and Luca got to have the happily ever after they deserved. This was an intensely fascinating arranged marriage mafia romance story with a twist, that was a really riveting read. I can assure that that readers will be as captivated by this book as I have been and I guarantee you will find it impossible to take a break once you start reading, until you reach the end. I am really looking forward to reading more books from this author.

This is one of those books that is so excellent that it lingers with you for days. The Wrong Mafia Bride is a literary treat if you like mafia reverse harem books. The plot, the pacing, the world building, and the character development are all excellent.

Ultimately, the book was a love story between two sisters, Erin the mafia princess and her adopted sister Rosalina (Rosie), her protector, and what one was willing to do for the other. It was also a love story between the MCs: Rosalina the substitute bride, her “official” husband Dante, and her unofficial husbands Luca (Dante’s half-brother) and Gabriel (Dante’s cousin). Their marriage was supposed to bring an Irish and Italian mafia family together. A lot happened in the story, but it only made them stronger together. There was violence, but that was to be expected with a mafia story. The spicy scenes were smoking hot. The emotional connection between them deep. They chose each other, and in doing so found “Freedom. Choice. Love. Family.” Whatever you do, do not skip the Bonus Epilogue. I have never read an epilogue that wrapped up a story in such an amazing way. NOT TO BE MISSED!.

Rosalina “Rose, Bella, Lina, Flower” Carter O’Connor grew up an Irish orphan until Seamus O’Connor took her in at age ten. What started as a girl stealing to survive turned into something far more meaningful—Seamus didn’t just rescue her, he chose her. He raised her as a true daughter of his heart, giving her the same love, protection, and expectations he gave his biological child, Erin. But Rose wasn’t only brought into the family to be a sister. Seamus trained her with purpose—self‑defense, knives, firearms, strategy—everything she would need to stand beside Erin as her closest friend, shadow, and protector. Wherever the Irish Princess went, Rose would be there too.
So when Erin proposed they switch places—letting Erin pursue happiness with one of their father’s men while Rose took her place in the arranged marriage to Dante—Rose agreed out of loyalty, never imagining how drastically her life would change. She expected one husband, one alliance, one duty. Instead, she finds herself promised to three Italian men—three powerful, magnetic husbands who will alter the course of her life in ways she never saw coming.

Dante Salvatore, Prince Heir to the Italian Mafia, raised to be his father's rightful heir but what his father saw as a weakness, emotional, is what made Dante a strong willing man. Born leader,

Gabriel Salvatore, Dante's cousin, was raised to be Dante's right hand, a protector, a weapon

Luca De Rosa, Dante's younger half brother (same father, different mother), loyal to his best friends, his brother and cousin and soon their wife.

If you want to keep this happy ever after alive and well, and don't want to peak 50+ years later don't get the bonus chapter, starts with a graveyard with 4 graves that Rose is visiting... and ends with your tears...
* Rose will appear in Bratva King's Secret Twins, as Gwen's Nana Rose.

The Wrong Mafia Bride is a great, fast-paced, why choose, insta love journey, that again, quickly pulled me in. This author and her stories are consuming. In this journey, Dante Salvatore, Rosalina Carter O'Connor, Gabriel Salvatore, cousin of Dante and Luca DeRosa, half brother of Dante, all take us on an exciting, emotional, very steamy, why choose journey that absolutely consumed me from the start.

"When one of us is chosen, the others are never far behind. We are not built to be loved in pieces."

These characters are fantastic and their story, as it progresses, brings lots of excitement, twists, turns and surprises that kept me fully engaged in their journey.

"This is not really a choice at all. Because there is no version of my future that does not include them. No version where I walk away and do not spend the rest of my life regretting it. No version where I choose safety over love, security over family, fear over hope."

They own each other in every aspect, wholly and completely. They're utter perfection for each other.

"We are yours. Completely. Eternally. Irrevocably."

Arc Review

I have been an avid Arc Reviewer for Vivy for some time now. This read here, was exceptional. It was everything and more. Let’s start with the cover, as I am a sucker for covers. The Booksprout cover does relate to the characters perfectly. If you are fortunate to download that cover you will understand the muses in relation to the characters.

The storyline itself - as stated in the title is what you will read, but what you don’t see is what was created within.

* Irish Mafia
* Italian Mafia
* Alliances - betrayal
* Prince & Princess
* siblings - by blood but not in genetics
* Manipulation
* Wife - MINE/OURS

But most important Freedom & Family

You will delve into the lives of salivating men. An unexpected outcome for Rosalina & Erin. Was this their destiny all along. Lust over Dante, Gabriel & Luca.

This was beautifully written. Not spoiling but for readers who haven’t quite taken the road of ménage, multiple partners, a road to depravation - this is actually a good start. It wasn’t degrading, distasteful- it was beautifully explained.

Highly recommend - beautiful storyline

Rosalina and men

This is the first book I’ve read in this genre where the setting is the 1970s. It’s mafia lite and in the end, it’s not even really mafia at all. Rosa is such an amazing character. She’s confident, headstrong and the perfect match for Dante, Gabriel and Luca. Each of these guys have their own distinct personality too and are just so well written. The pacing, the Irish, the dialog, are well done and I could’ve read it in a few hours but I didn’t want the book to end quickly.

This is also the only book in this genre where the bonus epilogue is almost 50 years in the future. Can’t say much more about it other than it’s beautifully written, tugged at my heartstrings, and made me love these characters so much more. They will live in my memories for a long time.

The things you do for love. In Vivy Skys latest story, The Wrong Mafia Bride, the love between Rosalina and her adopted sister Erin is so great, Rosalina sacrifices her own happiness to ensure Erin's happiness.
When Rosalina meets Dante, she doesn't know that he is part of a package; this package including Gabriel and Luca.
Rosalina has been protecting Erin her whole life, now she finds herself being protected, not just by her husband, but also with Gabriel and Luca.
When Rosalina finds herself in danger, her men will move earth to keep her safe.
I do not normally read why choose romance, however i really did enjoy this story. The Wrong Mafia Bride is an enjoyable, intriguing story line that captures the reader from the start. Five stars, I highly recommend.

Wow this book evokes so many different emotions And it is so well written

I've got to say I haven't read this author's books before but I am a firm follower after this book ! The characters were well written you followed them through their good times and their bad times in this book And you really feel like you know them. And this book is a continuing through life book in my opinion where you see where they start from and where they finish at. I know the concept of having more than 1 man in a marriage is not acceptable to many in public, but this book makes me understand it better and more compassionate towards those people. I will definitely be reading more of this author's books Because they feel like you're really truly involved in their life.

Okay am half the book and there is soo much things that arent right first of all how is it in the 1970s and they are playing video games and there is phones and it doesnt even feel the vibe of the 1970s in clothing vibes and everything
Plus there is some problem woth timing it been weeks then bomb dante says 3 months then it became 2 months i really don’t get it and when they first got married she said only one knew the truth and then mentioned luca but the one who saw her is gaberiel it doesn’t even make sense and so much more i really like the story but it really feels off so much mistakes and repetitive lines that are an event, and you cannot even differentiate between the three guys sometimes that you need to go back to the first of the chapter you know which one because you don’t know which one is like the humble one or the dominant one or with a good vibes they’re just all the same. You cannot even differentiate from their thinking it’s kind of weird. I really like it. I like the plot I like the idea about swiping identities, but something is really off with everything. It’s a fun read. I liked it, but I think they needed to do more than one draft and the editor did not do the right job to be honest because it’s so random. There are so much like wording and there’s so much lost plot holes like you don’t get it like sometimes don’t they say something and then again with a private with Luca or Gabriel they see the same thing so it’s kind of here and and the instant love there’s not even growing relationship I get I love instant love but this is they did not even show us the end it’s not even obsession with her. It’s just like it’s there. It’s like hey you got a wife now love her you know I thought she would be a way bad ass than this like she OK she’s stripped tongue and everything and she’s witty, but most of the time she does not feel like that like I love spice, but it felt flat for me kind of way

I was hooked from the start of this story. I loved the interactions between Erin and Rosalina and how much she was will to do to ensure her happiness.
Dante recognized Rosalina from the garden when he married her, not knowing she was not the originally intended bride. The contrast between Dante, Gabriel and Luca added more depth to the story. Each had different personalities and strengths. When Rosalina was threatened, they stepped up did what was needed.
This was an engrossing story from start to finish. You won't want to put your Kindle down.

This book starts as a slow burn, but once Rosalina, Dante, Gabriel, and Luca’s story begins to unfold, it’s impossible to put down.

I loved watching Rosa come into her own and grow more confident as she navigated the complexities of her relationships with the men in her life. Her character development felt natural and rewarding, making her journey especially enjoyable to follow.

Packed with passion, tension, and plenty of unexpected twists, this mafia romance kept me hooked from start to finish. A captivating read that romance fans won’t want to miss!.

Dante Salvatore in an arranged marriage between Irish O’Connor’s and the Salvatore’s Italian Mafia. Rosalina decides to take her adoptive sister's place and marry Dante, but what she doesn't realize he's a package deal. Gabriel his cousin and Luca his half-brother all love to share, but will Dante share his new bride? I love a dark mafia romance and this one doesn't disappoint. Rose finds herself falling for each of them in her own way. I love their different personalities, the witty banter she has with each of them and how they each bring a different perspective into her life. Holy Smokes! What a roller coaster of emotions reading this book. You are left in suspense of what is going to happen when she walks down the aisle, but then there is a twist. After the wedding they get back home and Rosalina is a handful. She is constantly pushing Dante's buttons and you are never sure what is going to happen next. It was very hard to put it down because its so well written and you just wanted to know what happened next. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I will only say that the ending is not one you saw coming and you will need Kleenex for the extended epilogue. So much drama and one of the best Mafia Romance books I have read.

Not your typical Mafia story, but so, so good. The wrong bride with the three right men. Wonderful story of intense love even though unconventional it is perfect for them. Intense emotions and each finding what they need, each other. Do not pass over the Bonus it is the most intense wonderful Bonus I have ever read. If this was a movie the bonus alone would an award winning scene. I couldn’t stop crying. Thank you Vivy for a wonderful heartwarming story.

She pickpockets her way into an Irish Mafia family and all she has to do is protect Patrick's daughter. This story is filled with drama that had my heart in a tizzy. Her stepsister is in love with another and begs Rosalinda for help which she does by standing in and marrying the man herself. She had no idea what she was getting into but imagine her surprise when there are three men vying for her time and she is all for it. This story sizzles in the best of ways!.

A great Mafia read where we get to see Rosealina discover love and spice from three best friends and Mafia men . Dante the Salvatore heir, whom she marries in place of her adopted sister, for whom she feels no sacrifice is too great, and his best friends Gabriel and Luca. Each man intense, yet different and each that claims her as she battles to reconcile that she can love three men. A great romance of love, spice, betrayal, loss and plot twists. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and fast pace.

Bound by Blood, United by Love

What begins as a marriage of convenience to secure peace through a sister-switch alliance becomes an unforgettable journey of love and sacrifice. Dante, Luca, and Gabriel have always shared everything—even the woman they come to love, Rosalinda. This mafia love story is not one that you can stop reading for long, i put it down and two minutes later pick it back up just not wanting to know what happened next.
There are three men in this marriage and Rosalina, they have always shared women in the past and would do anything to make her happy.
Its an extremely hot but mixed into this is danger, murder and threats so its not all going to go well for some.
I absolutely loved reading story its not one to be missed.

I loved it!

I absolutely loved it! I loved the characters, the MMCs and Rosalina is such a strong woman who puts family, love and loyalty before herself and what she wants. She steps up to the plate to protect her sister and falls in love with three gorgeous men, who put her first, just like she puts them first. First rate! And if you want to end this story in tears, do yourself a favour and read the bonus epilogue! If you’re anything like me, you will bawl your eyes out!

Altar Switch

Switching places with her sister was supposed to be easy but when Rosalina is discovered, complications arise. Dante expected the Irish princess but got her bodyguard instead. This story was hot and steamy as well as suspenseful
The emotional outcome pulled at my heartstrings leaving me empathetic to these characters. It was a fantastic read that I could not put down.
