Leopard left a few spots on his girl...

Once again this author did her thing with the next generations series. Calvin was a formidable opponent for the bad guys who just don't seem to catch any measure of common sense. My only complaint is the constant usage of the term "save the democracy", I think it was used too frequently. We understood the point clearly. Overall, Calvin did his job as an operative for his government. He saved the day and got the girl. 4.5 stars.

Let me start by saying, this story mirrors some of what we're going through today. I said this years ago, when she began some of these stories. Some of what she has written has come to life., such as the first Black President.

Calvin Jr and Leslie are mature and adorable together. I forgot that they are young (early 20's) but you couldn't tell. Definitely wise beyond their years. This was love at first sight !

This story was packed with mystery, suspense, action, friendships, and romance. Leopard/Hammer was just who Leslie needed in her life. He was definitely methodical in assessing how to go about figuring out both how to keep Leslie safe, as well as finding the killers. Plus, the brother was deadly when it came to protecting those he loved.

I enjoyed Leslie, as she was just as sharp as Calvin Jr and gave off the same energy as him. She absolutely gave him plenty to think about, as she had him off centered, just as she was.

The band boys/friends are always there for moral support or to assist one another when needed. This story was no different.

Calvin's new adventure is Leslie!

I'm always on the edge of my seat when I read a book by this author. I always want more from her, as usual, I was not ready for this story to end. Such an insightful author!

Figure It Out.

Hammer's motto is to always protect, only this time, the person he is trying to protect is as smart and headstrong as he is.

As the situation comes to light, will they figure it out together, or will they destroy each other in the process?

Once again, Iris has taken us on a wild ride of intrigue, a fight, secrets, romance, murder, mystery, and family, only to leave us with questions and our mouths hanging open.

The diabolical scenes leave you speechless.

hate when it ends.

I just love the entire series from the very first book with JD and Tracey to Calvin Jr and Leslie. These books have everything-suspense, romance, humor and loyalty. I look forward to JC’s story and wonder who will be next. Also all of these things happening in today’s world really makes you think about the scenarios of these books. Thank you for making us go hmmmm, opening our eyes and providing a truly wonderful book/series.

Iris Bolling can do no wrong. I really enjoy reading her books. They are filled with government conspiracy and take-down plots, black love, family, and humor. Calvin was that guy. I can't believe he felt beneath JC, Elliot, and James when he had so much to offer. He and Leslie were cute and nerdy together. I can't believe JC will be the last book. I'm not ready for it to end, but I'm excited for his story.

Excellent

Omg what a wonderful story. I am so mad it ended. I cannot wait for the next adventure. This story was so good. The kids are now grown and on their own. They are just as bad as the parents but maybe a little better. I love how they found love and for one another. This is how friends are suppose to be. Kick butt for one another and always on stand by. They all have special skills that will kill a person. Love it

Good Read

I am a light conspiracy theorist. I see both sides of the equation. As a black woman I try not to see boogie men everywhere, but as a moderate conservative, I am not so smug as to think there are not those who'd eliminate me and mine if they got the chance. I simply say I trust in Jesus.

Excellent!

One major flaw when reading MS Bolling's works 😁😁 when you finish reading the greatest reads like hers are you want them never to end. Anxiously awaiting the next in this series. WONDERFUL reading!

Leopard

Excellent story. Love the roll Calvin had as hammer and computer expert. Also loved that his love interests was all so into looking at the stars and was an Aerospace engineer. Now I'm ready for I'm's story.

Prefect blend of the hero coming into his own professionally, romance, suspense, and action. I definitely agree that this is the best out of the three stories so far. Two intelligent and gifted characters fall in love and try to stop a plot that will change the government forever.

Leopard The next generation Book 3

The energy and attraction between Calvin and Leslie from the night Hammer saved her made me want to turn to chapter 56and read the the ending but then I would have missed All Days quick appearances and Calvin Sr knocking Brian out. Great read!
