Press The Button: Alex Trebek Made Fun of Me, and Other Things That Will Make You Laugh

Rate this book
This is a comedy book.

Which is good—because the subject matter isn’t.

Press The Button is a fast, stand-up-style collection about aging, technology, and the slow realization that the world didn’t get weird… you just lived long enough to notice.

• Why standing up is now a team sport
• The economics of pickleball (someone is making billions)
• Why your phone updates itself like it’s hiding something
• And how writing a novel somehow became the least practical decision you’ve ever made

It’s quick. It’s sharp. And it’s a little too accurate.

You’ll laugh.
Then you’ll recognize yourself.
Then you’ll laugh again… slightly harder.

Another laugh out loud winner by one of the funniest, down to earth guy there is, Jimmy Flynn. This book is great. His hate for commercials, MRI’s and pickleball, is hilarious and has me in tears of laughter.

Jim’s realistic and frank view of the world makes me say… “Yeah, you right.” Hallmark, and zombie movies all the same, getting old and your body filing complaints when you tie your shoes, and getting waterboarded in a bookclub for not finishing Eat, Pray, Love. Hahaha

“American don’t use meters, they measure the world in pickup trucks, football fields and about ten minutes.”
“Salamander brain” is one of my faves.

Great quick read here that will make laugh embarrassingly.
