Niko Cooper is happy living his life selling antique and vintage knickknacks, with his cat for company and a few good friends. It’s a good life for a vampire. Quiet, untroubled, and peaceful– last spring’s would-be vampire hunter attack aside. A brief exception handled by his local Gatekeeper and her beau.
All that calm comes to a screeching halt when Niko realizes that the estate sale he stands in is full of not only the vintage treasures he wants for his shop, but also an unnaturally large number of enchanted and cursed objects, all being sold to the general public. His panicked call to his Gatekeeper friend results in Niko being tasked with keeping the rest of the enchanted items out of human hands and recovering whatever he can that had already been sold.
