I listened to the audiobook after seeing the author in an interview. She does an excellent job narrating, which most authors typically don't with their own books it seems. It has a political speech feel to it, like you would hear at a rally. That being said, and as with most politics...the ones that read it are going to agree, and be reinforced...It's telling them what they want to hear.
There are a lot of good points made in the book, the most important to me was about civic engagement. Avoiding apathy and burnout. Unfortunately with books like this, the ones that really need to read it, probably won't because they don't read to start with.

Found some needed Jope
I needed this book! The news gets more shocking every day. It's easy and tempting to become an ostrich and not watch or read. Nelson gives from hope in some freedom grounded words of advice and call to action. She hardens back to my middle school civics class teaching freedom as the civic responsibility of each of us. Good reminders!
