Monster Mating 101 is a brilliant, beautiful, cozy love story. Bella is so incredibly sad and lonely. Arthur is also sad and lonely. She’s a student. He’s the groundskeeper. A relationship between them would be forbidden—tell that to Arthur’s rut 🥵 And it certainly doesn’t stop their feelings—no one can help how they feel. If ever I’ve seen two individuals that deserve a HEA, it’s Arthur and Bella—two of the sweetest main characters I’ve ever read about. Great book by Sara Ivy Hill. *** Recommended ***

🦎 Hemipenes
🦎 Botanist MMC
🦎 The coolest female ogre secondary character
🦎 forbidden faculty × student relationship (mid 20s/30s)

A sweet story of a human and a monster who, after feeling rejected their entire lives, finding the beauty in choosing each other 🫶🏻

Also its set at a school for human×monster cultural understanding where half the student body goes to find a mate. And the school has certain...classes to support this. (Eg....✨️stretching ✨️)

This was a fun one. I enjoyed the college environment with characters that were older (24 and ~39), though it does kind of take over the story. The MMC is adorable and sweet, the FMC is so genuine and determined, and even the side characters are interesting. The ending felt a bit rushed, but that's probably a product of the serial format of this story.
