By page 12 there were several books that I had added to my TBR list. I feel like the book was informative, it did have a personal review of the book feel to me. I did read a digital copy of the book, and I think that it would be 1000% better if it was a physical copy. It has a journaling area that you can fill out and questions you can answer or reflect on while you're reading that particular banned book it's talking about at that time.
I liked that comparison to why the book was banned or challenged and then there's a spot where he explains why that is relevant to today's age and time. It was a quick read once I sat down and read it. If you used it like a journal, then it would take you up to a year. It gives one book per week to read and reflect on.
I did give it a four star because there was so much repetitiveness in the book with certain statements or words and I really didn't like that little aspect.
At the end of the book, it talks about other books the author will be releasing, and I am pretty excited to read those once they are released. They sound like the will be good and they talk about banned books in other countries.
Overall, I think this would be a good read for anyone who is curious about why these books were banned and want to form their own informed opinion.
