The mini cookbook included in this is awesome. It's hard to find a lot of good literature on developing using Javascript since most of the developers who have begun using this are people familiar with Actionscript. I found the File API section included in the mini cookbook very helpful. Using the embedded database section I was able to just use the example in the book to create a quick SQLite connection to store and query data.
