The unfortunate fact of the matter is the plot for this whole series is nearly the same. Give or take the intensity of the h's suffering.

And can I rant just for a second because I've been seeing this a lot with younger authors... Ahem women in their forties do not have smelly 🐈, nor are we stretched out to kingdom come because of age and giving birth. I understand we were meant to hate the character Lyndsey, but I've been seeing more and more that a lot of authors are themselves ageists.

Lovers to strangers to lovers. Hidden pregnancy because of threats made to the FMC and unborn child.
The story was ok but too repetitive and the characters are extremely self centered and blind to what is happening to the main characters.
How can Tank and Jas’s dads not see the abuse their kids are going through? It’s not really realistic! Plus the main characters are very childish and immature when it comes to deal with their emotions. It was repetitive and felt like we were going in circles.

Another fantastic read!

Thank you for another amazing book, I couldn't put it down!
The only thing I wish we had were more explanations as to why both mothers behaved the way they did but I'm so happy with the way things happened and ended!
I loved that Tank didn't go dipping his wick elsewhere after Jasmine left.
Can't wait for Dirtys' book.

Tank never wanted an old lady, his plan was to stay single with no attachments other than his club. When he meets Jasmine though she is his game changer. He covets her, adores her and loves her more than life itself but as much as he has ensured she is protected by him she runs. What happens when he finds her again and the reason she ran comes to light? Who to trust and who do you forgive?

I liked this a lot but I did think Tank dragged a bit on Jasmine and his bitterness towards what she did. Other than that really good story and another entertaining read from author.

I read this book and angry through most of it!

Spoilers ahead...

Okay, so Logan meets Jasmine and he realizes she's his one. They proceed to have a wonderful relationship for 2 years. Here is where it all goes wrong. Both Logan and Jasmine come from abusive backgrounds, except neither one of them tells the other. They are both completely oblivious to the other's background. So, that's not so bad, right? Wrong. You see Jasmine had finally had enough and told her mother exactly where to go confident in her love of Logan and his support. She also told her mama that she was pregnant from a biker and she was going to live happily ever after in a nutshell. She didn't think her mama was going to hurt her or the baby, but she did. Her mama beat her and made her almost lose the baby. When she is in the hospital, she texts Logan they need to talk. Fully committed to telling him everything and leaning on him. But then his mama shows up and threatens to kill her if she doesn't leave and not knowing the baby had survived, tells her that if the baby had survived she would have killed it. So, at that point Jasmine takes the hint and leaves, because not only did her mama try and kill her baby, but now his mama is threatening to kill her. Yeah, I'd have run too and not looked back.

So, here is where their lack of communication comes in. She doesn't realize that he hates his mother and her mother told her she would destroy Logan and the MC. So, she does what she thinks is right. She tears out her own heart thinking she is protecting Logan, his MC and her unborn child and hightails it.

Eventually, she comes back for a funeral and he finds out she has had his child. He is understandably angry and resentful. It HAS been 6 years.

I am good up to this point, but only up to this point. From this point on I am so angry I just wanted to punch Logan repeatedly... actually through most of the book. He never tries to understand where she was coming from. He's all caught up in his precious little feelings. Grow up already! She left because she was young, scared and vulnerable. The kind of abuse she took from her mother was atrocious and then his mother threatening to kill her was the last nail on the coffin. She ran thinking she needed to not only protect him but their unborn child as well. But Logan didn't give an inch. Then she gets attacked. First, by his mother and then by her mother. His mother and her minion end up stabbing her 3 times before he shows up and then her mother goes after her daughter. Yeah, she had every reason to run because Logan couldn't keep her safe after all. Though she thinks that he did save her. There is a difference between keeping safe and coming in after the fact and saving her. You see, when you come in after the fact, you are running the risk of getting there too late. Yet Jasmine convinces herself she should have trusted him to keep them safe. Are you kidding me right now. Both times she was attacked he wasn't keeping her safe. Then to really get you angry, after all of that he sees what she was talking about but still can't trust her and resents her. Not to mentions he treats her like garbage and then wants her to fight for him. Seriously? You treat her like the dirt on the bottom of your shoe and you still want her to fight for you and make her feel guilty for making a conscious effort to save your daughter and proceeding to live the next 6 years in absolute poverty. He was a jerk and I didn't care for him at all.

The whole time she feels guilty and he is resentful and a jerk. I felt like he never even tried to understand her.

Did not care for this one at all!

This is the story of Jasmine and Tank. Tank is part of the MC and had zero intention of taking an Old Lady. He prefers to sow his wild oats and has done ever since he first got with his Mums friend at 16 years old and continued an arrangement with her until he was 19/20 when she tried to baby trap him - she's unhinged! His mother also tries to force the daughter of the best friend on him too - he has very few morals so you can guess where that one went. Jasmine is on the run from her brothers best friend who tried to abuse her (he thinks she belongs to him). Tank and Jasmine meet when he is 21, her family do not like Tank's MC but Tank doesn't care and pursues her hard. They end up dating in secret and even live together.

Their separation occurs when Jasmine stands up to her mother because she is pregnant and her mother attacks. Tank's mum who is obsessed with him getting with the best friends daughter then threatens the life of her unborn child so she disappears without a trace to save her child. Their separation lasts for 6 years before she returns for her grandmothers' funeral, her daughter takes ill and ends up in the hospital that Tank works at - he's a doctor.

Tank forces her to return to town with him and they eventually reconcile even though Jasmine is a little reluctant. It was a great story to read.

MC = it's there

OW drama = OW1 was the H's mom. She was AWFUL!! She was abusive toward her son for years (mentally, emotionally and definitely physically). She made very effective threats toward the h which led to the h running away. When h returned, OW1 was part of the people who went after the h and her kid. OW1 tried to follow through on her threats to the h and the kid. This is only the tip of the iceberg as to how vile this woman was, so much more she did and was a part of...Comeuppance? Dirt nap. OW2 was the h's mom. She was abusive as well to the h (physically, mentally and emotionally). OW2 was encouraging a sick piece of shit to marry the h and was constantly giving access to the h so vile piece of shit could "lock in" the h, willing or not. OW2 had a tracker on the h to control her. When h came back after being gone, OW2 carelessly and egregiously harmed the kid. Comeuppance? h made she she took a dirt nap.

SA/R = h had to constantly evade and protect herself from the POS her mother was encouraging to be with the h. h made outcry to her father and he did not believe her until YEARS later and was like oops, my bad. h was cornered one time and barely got away.

APPALLINGLY BAD!! We know this author basically writes soap opera biker romances (or whatever), but the FL in this one was beyond stupid, just incredibly stupid without any logical thought or self awareness! One of the dumbest and most unbelievable storylines ever, and this author writes some pretty dumb shit! It continues to have a supposedly 1% or 3% or whatthefuckever percent MC that allows old ladies to rule the roost and do whatever batshit crazy things they want until after many years, the brainless brothers finally shut them up...forever. This one included both the ML & FL's mothers being deranged homicidal twats!

The author mixed it up by having the FL be the moron in this one, who leaves without a thought for anyone but herself, tho she kept repeating in her own brainless head, that she did it all to protect the ML! Skipping numerous pages - even the smexy was shitty cause I wanted the FL to just end, she was so pathetic... JUST LIKE THIS CRAPPY BOOK.

P.S. DON'T SCRUB 1 & 2* REVIEWS - WE KNOW ALOT OF THIS AUTHOR'S BOOKS AREN'T WORTH 2 STARS, LET ALONE 4 OR 5!

Definitely a good read. Tank & Jasmine did make a great couple.
Tank never wanted an old lady until he laid eyes on Jasmine, he knew she was the one.
Jasmine never wanted to fall in love because of her family life she went through but with Tanks persuasion she falls deeply in love with him.
Jasmine breaks her heart leaving Tank and her grandmother behind to save the life of her unborn child, Tank and his club. Her mother is pure evil and so is Tank’s mom.
Liked: it was fast paced included previous characters, some humor. Tank remained celibate. WOW!
Triggers: parental abuse mentality and physically, violence.
Disliked: I get that Tank was hurt by her decision to run but I felt he made it more about himself than what she actually had to endure. HEA! & three years into their future.

My least fav of the series so far.

It just went on too long with not much happening and just felt the author was trying to just add more length to the book.

As with doc I find it ridiculous that tank can not only eork as an er doctor but also in the garage as a mechanic. As well as be the saa, I think thats his position. Its totally unbelievable.

And what is it with these woman giving away their inheritance when they need the
Money?

Oh im sleeping on the floor my daughter doesn't even have a bed and I barely eat but im going to give away my inheritance.

Utterly ridiculous

Lots of issues with this book

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Couple: Tank & Jasmine

This was like a breath of fresh air from the previous two in this series. Except the fact that both of them had to have had some of the worst parents ever. The storyline was decent and I didn't mind Jasmine, but I was disappointed in Tank. Which kind of surprised me cause I liked him in previous books, his choices just didn't line up with the type of person he was portrayed as. I understood the choices that Jasmine made and felt for all she lost too, in the end they got their happiness which both deserved.

Scared Love

Charlotte has done it again. The Rebels just keep getting better. Tank was not looking for love but letting it go once he found it was not the answer. Jasmine never thought she would feel truly wanted. When outside threats make her run they are hurting and missing eachother. I love that they both are fighting in their own way

Tank and Buttercup

Lol I got a kick out of her nickname as one of my relatives are called that. Anyway neither of these two had a good childhood. They were both abused by their Mother's while the Father's were clueless.

If they had trusted each other the 6 years apart would never have happened.

Charlotte has done it again!
The Rebels just keep getting better. I could not put it down. Tank's not looking for a woman and Jasmine never thought she would feel wanted by anyone. They obviously meet and things happen to them but eventually they get their HEA. Bring on Dirty!💚🖤

Tanks story

This is the third book I have read in this MC series. I have enjoyed each and every one of the stories! Each character is really interesting and believable. Each plot is very different and holds your interest to the very end. If you enjoy MC stories, don't miss these! They flow right along, and you can't wait to get back to the story until you finish each one.

I thought it was a good read however repetitive at times. Tank could have been less self-centered once he saw Jas fear were warranted and that he didn't provide the safety when it counted. Happy reading!
