Why be a leader, when you can be a steward?
Guy Pilens’ debut book “The Contribution Shift” quietly introduces basic concepts that have powerful impact. The book empowers the reader with bite-sized, practical steps to building an organization’s culture from the ground up, encouraging collaboration, kindness and a gentle environment that nurtures its people first.
I loved the idea of being part of something bigger, and building that thing from strength to strength to long outlast me. Trust tokens and postcards are things I can see myself using every day at work and at home.
The Contribution Shift concepts are applicable to both interpersonal relationships and professional ones.
A great read for aspiring and experienced leaders alike. Accessible, simple and genuine.
Highly recommended.
