Adventures on a Distant Planet
Edison and Vondra are on a three-year mission to experience and document America’s best practices for kindness and love. They read everything they can find on these topics and then try to experience both first-hand. They perform acts of kindness to observe reactions. And they attempt to find suitable partners to experience falling in love.
The objectives of this mission might sound unusual. However, their fellow inhabitants of Kepler-22b hope to use the lessons learned to improve their own lives. Kepler-22b is 640 light-years from Earth and has living conditions similar to Earth. However, their native lifeforms do not look remotely like humans, presenting further challenges.
They had only limited foreknowledge about what to expect, but what they learned will surprise most Earth-born creatures.
