Aiden Baker and Bailey Michaels have been best friends ever since four year old Aiden declared it so. Together they’ve experienced every one of life’s ups and downs. Every time Bailey felt hurt or forgotten by her parents. Every family game night with the Bakers. Every skinned knee, birthday, and day in between, Aiden and Bailey never left each other’s side.

However, a one night stand and two pink lines have turned Bailey’s life upside down. She’s cut off by her parents and the baby daddy bows out before the first doctor’s appointment. But, Aiden is there, moving into the room next to hers, showing up to every doctor’s appointment, for every craving, holding her hand (or hair) through every pregnancy complication.

Moving in together might have been a mistake, because the threat of the feelings they’ve both kept buried deep inside for most of their lives threaten to explode. Their friendship means too much to both of them to risk bringing those feelings into the light. Still, with every lingering touch, every comment from Aiden about how much he loves the little life growing in Bailey’s belly, tensions rise. Bit by bit their resolve cracks.

What if they confess those feelings, and they aren't mutual? Or worse, they are and in the end the relationship doesn't work out. Aiden and the rest of the Bakers are the only family Bailey has ever truly known. Bailey is the best friend Aiden will ever have. Is the fear of losing each other worth the risk of exposing all the feelings they’ve kept secret? They risk losing everything, but this could be a chance at the dream they’ve both been waiting for.

Ngl this one really disappointed me 😭 I went in excited because accidental pregnancy is honestly one of my favorite tropes, and I’m not ashamed of it. 🙂‍↕️🤚🏼 Give me a man who steps up when he doesn’t have to, takes care of her, and loves her through everything, and I’m usually SOLD. Aiden definitely had those qualities, but unfortunately, there were just too many things that kept pulling me out of the story.

My biggest issue was the communication. Or, more accurately, the complete LACK of it. Bailey is out here hooking up with other people while internally knowing Aiden is the person she actually wants a future with, and I’m just sitting there like… GIRL. SAY SOMETHING😭 especially when she literally thinks

“Aiden Baker is the only person I want this kind of future with—he’s the person I want to marry, start a family with.”

MA’AM??? THEN TELL HIM??? 😭 And then Aiden is internally pining over her, wondering how this happened...

“The girl I’ve been dreaming about, pining over, is having a baby with someone else.”

UM??? MAYBE BECAUSE YOU NEVER TOLD HER YOU LIKED HER??? 😭 I hate miscommunication already, but this felt especially frustrating because SO much could’ve been avoided if either of them had just opened their mouths 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

I also had mixed feelings about Bailey relying on Aiden so heavily. I appreciated that he willingly stepped up and was incredibly supportive, but sometimes it felt like she just assumed he would take on that role, even though he wasn’t the one who got her pregnant. I wasn’t opposed to them being together at all—I just wanted more acknowledgment of how huge that was for him to willingly take on 😭 and on top of that... they pined all those years but once he stepped up it was 100% instalust. 🤦🏼‍♀️

That said, I really loved the found family aspect. The flashbacks showing Bailey and Aiden growing up together were some of my favorite parts, and I loved seeing how naturally she belonged with the Bakers. Watching Aiden’s whole family rally around her during the pregnancy was genuinely sweet, and it made me understand why Bailey was so attached to them.

I also found it interesting having Bailey be the more experienced playboyish character one while Aiden basically waited around for her this entire time because… AGAIN, WHY DID YOU NOT JUST TELL HER?! 😭 SIGHHHH

There were definitely sweet moments here, and I can see this working for readers who love childhood friends to lovers and devoted heroes. It just didn’t quite hit for me the way I hoped it would

Okay…Wait for the Dream by Anne Mitchell. 🥹🧸💙

First of all…ANNE MITCHELL??? A debut author??? 👀

Because if this is where you’re starting, ma’am…you have my attention.

This was another new-to-me author for me, and I gave this one 4 ⭐️. And let me tell you…if you put childhood best friends, mutual pining, forced proximity, surprise pregnancy AND found family in front of me, apparently I will immediately volunteer to emotionally torture myself. 😂

Aiden and Bailey have been best friends since they were FOUR.

FOUR.

This man literally decided at four years old that Bailey was HIS person and apparently never changed his mind. 🥹

And that whole “I’ve loved you forever, I just didn’t know how to tell you” energy???

Yeah.

I’m weak. 😩🧎🏻‍♀️

Bailey’s life gets completely turned upside down after a one-night stand leaves her pregnant, her parents cut her off and the baby daddy basically disappears before she can even make it to her first doctor’s appointment.

But Aiden?

Aiden shows the f*ck up.

Every appointment. Every craving. Every complication. Every moment she needs someone.

He moves into the room next to hers. He holds her hand. He holds her hair when she’s sick. He is there for HER…and for this baby that isn’t even his.

And honestly?

THAT’S THE MAN. 🥹

Because Aiden isn’t just saying he’s there for Bailey. He’s proving it over and over again.

And the fact that the Bakers are basically the family Bailey has always needed??? 😭😭😭

The found family aspect absolutely got me.

There is something about watching someone who has spent their life feeling unwanted finally have people who choose them over and over again that just hits me right in the emotional gut.

And then you add the fact that Aiden and Bailey have BOTH been secretly carrying feelings for each other for years…

Oh, we’re in trouble. 😂

The tension between these two is basically a ticking time bomb.

Every lingering touch.

Every little comment.

Every time Aiden talks about how much he already loves this baby.

Every moment where you’re sitting there screaming JUST TELL EACH OTHER!!! 😩😩😩

And of course they’re both terrified.

Because what happens if the feelings aren’t mutual?

What happens if they ARE mutual and it doesn’t work?

They aren’t just risking a relationship.

They’re risking their entire friendship. Their family. The one person each of them has always been able to count on.

And THAT was what made the romance work for me.

This wasn’t just “we’re attracted to each other, let’s hook up.”

These two have EVERYTHING to lose.

Their friendship is the foundation of their entire lives, so admitting that they’ve fallen in love is terrifying.

And Aiden…

🥹🥹🥹

I really loved him.

Protective without being overbearing, supportive, patient and completely devoted to Bailey. He gives that “I don’t care that this isn’t my baby, I’m already all in” energy, and I ate that sh*t UP.

I will ALWAYS have a soft spot for a man who chooses the woman he loves when it would be easier to walk away.

Was this a 5 star for me? No. There were a few places where I wanted more depth and development, especially because the emotional foundation of this story was SO good. I wanted to really sit in some of those moments and let them hurt a little more. 😩

But for a debut novel and a new-to-me author?

I was impressed.

I was invested.

I was rooting for these two idiots to finally admit what everyone else could probably see from a mile away. 😂

If you love childhood best friends to lovers, surprise pregnancy, not-the-baby-daddy-but-still-acts-like-dad, forced proximity, mutual pining and found family…

You need this one. 🧸💙

And Anne Mitchell…

If THIS is your debut, I’m definitely curious to see what you do next. 👀📚

Now excuse me while I go find myself a childhood best friend who has secretly been in love with me for 20 years. 😂🧎🏻‍♀️🖤

First of all I want to say thank you to Luna Literary and Anne Mitchell for the ARC of Wait for the Dream :)

This book was an emotional rollercoaster from the start. You can feel everything that Bailey and Aiden were experiencing. The love, the pain, the frustration, the scars, and the sweet moments in between. Throughout all of that, Anne created a beautiful love story that will warm your heart. Also, the found family is perfect and for a debut novel, this was spectacular

Bailey gets pregnant from a one-night stand and her best friend Aiden doesn't hesitate to step up and be there for Bailey. Aiden's family have always been people that Bailey can rely on and in this case it's no different. Their friends and family have gotten a front row seat at watching their relationship blossom and grow to where it ultimately ends up (hope that made sense)

Bailey's family is an absolute mess, her parents practically disown her when she tells them that she's pregnant and the Baker's (Aiden's family) provide her the comfort that you would only hope your own parents would provide. There's one scene in particular where I fell in love with Aiden and his family even more and I hope y'all enjoy that moment as much as I did lol

Aiden and Bailey's journey is unique but special at the same time. Childhood friends to lovers delivers once again. Seeing these two finally admit how they feel was very nice to witness and I love how their friends react to finding out that they finally told each other what they knew all along

I was very excited to see Bailey and Aiden get their happily ever after because they deserved it. Their story pulled at my heartstrings in a wonderful way though. I was rooting for them the entire time and if y'all read this book you will be cheering for them too

Anne's writing pulled me into this book immediately and for a debut novel to do that is impressive. I had to know what was going to happen so I was turning the pages every chance I got. Well done :)

Y'all... if you are a fan of an emotional romance that involves found family, childhood best friends to lovers with a deeply rooted and heartfelt love story then this story/book is for you. If you haven't added Wait for the Dream to your TBR do it ASAP, you won't regret it

Again, thank you to Luna Literary and Anne Mitchell for the ARC of Wait for the Dream :) If this was book one I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series has in store

P.S. I'm super excited for Magnolia and Dallas's story

Bailey: Aiden’s childhood best friend; pregnant after a one night stand; going into her feelings for Aiden; Mommy & Daddy issues
Aiden: Bailey’s childhood best friend; has been in love with Bailey since they were kids; stepping up to help Bailey

I very much enjoyed this book and I will be reading the rest of this series. I honestly don’t know where to start but here we go!

This book is a beautiful start to a found family series. Aiden’s family took Bailey in and treated her like one of their own. Bailey has very neglectful parents. They think money and image is the in all be all (which is not true). But she had the Baker family to fill that whole in her heart and life.

Now onto the meat and potatoes of the book! Aiden and Bailey…..childhood best friends…childhood loves. Aiden knew he was going to marry Bailey the first day they met….THEY WERE 4 YRS OLD! Bailey was a little slow to the curve but we can chalk that up to her mommy and daddy issues. But they loved each other but were scared to ruin the friendship. And honestly I don’t blame them. But Bailey got into a pickle. She ends up pregnant after a one night stand. She decides to keep the baby and be a single mom.

Aiden wasn’t letting that happen. He loved Bailey and he loved this baby. He was going to be a father figure to this baby. This pregnancy forced them to look at their relationship and pursue something that they both wanted for a long time. And honestly, from the outside looking in, you would think that little bear was his baby. And little bear is his baby and you can’t tell him nothing about it.

The evolution of Bailey and Aiden’s relationship was so cute. They were basically already a couple but now they can kiss and do the dirty now lol. I love that for them.

I do want to bring up the complications of pregnancy that Bailey dealt with. Anne wrote this aspect of the book so well. You can feel the stress and anxiety of a new mom go through. you you physically feel all the emotions

10/10 would recommend

P.S. the little snippet for book 2 is so good! And i need it now!

Anne Mitchell’s debut novel completely stole my heart, and I am SO thrilled I had the opportunity to be part of the ARC team for this one.

This book was an emotional ride from beginning to end. I felt everything—the love, the anger, the pain, the trauma, and all the beautiful moments in between. And somehow, through all of it, Anne created a love story that was incredibly heartwarming, with one of the BEST found families.

Bailey finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand, and her best friend Aiden immediately steps up for her. Not only is Aiden there, but so is his family, and watching their relationships grow was one of my favorite parts of this story.

And then came the labor scene. I was absolutely bawling. Without giving away any spoilers, Bailey and I experienced the same condition and very similar birth experiences. Reading her experience brought up SO many emotions for me. In an unexpected way, this book gave me space to revisit and process parts of my own birth experience that I didn’t realize I still needed to work through.

That made this story incredibly personal and meaningful to me.

I was SO happy to see Bailey and Aiden get the happily ever after they deserved. Their journey had my heart in a chokehold, and I was rooting for them every step of the way.

Anne’s writing immediately pulled me into the story and kept me turning pages because I had to know what was going to happen next. For a debut novel, WOW. What a way to make an entrance!

If you love emotional romance, accidental pregnancy, best friends-to-lovers, found family, and a deeply heartfelt love story, add Wait for the Dream to your TBR. Just keep the tissues nearby.

I really wanted to love Wait for the Dream because it had so many tropes I love, but unfortunately, it ended up being more of an okay read for me.

I really enjoyed Bailey and Aiden’s childhood friends-to-lovers relationship. Watching these two grow up together and finally realize what everyone around them already knew was so sweet. Aiden was always there for Bailey, no matter what, and his family quickly became one of my favorite parts of the book. The found family aspect really pulled at my heartstrings, especially seeing Bailey experience the unconditional love she never received from her own parents.

I also really appreciated how the pregnancy and complications were handled. You could feel Bailey’s fear, anxiety, and emotions throughout everything, and I thought that part of the story was done really well!

My biggest issue was the lack of tension. I wanted more conflict and more moments where Bailey and Aiden actually had to fight for their relationship. Whenever a problem came up, Aiden or his family seemed to swoop in and fix it almost immediately. And while I loved Aiden, he was almost too perfect at times. Give me a little messiness!

I also found myself getting bored around the 40% mark. Some of the family game nights started to feel repetitive, and I think that space could have been used to develop the characters and story a little more. The time jumps were also occasionally confusing.

Overall, this was a sweet friends-to-lovers romance with a beautiful found family and a couple I genuinely wanted to see get their happily ever after! It just needed a little more tension and depth to really pull me in.

This book was so cute! I love a good childhood friends' to lovers' story. I'm normally not a fan of flashbacks but they were needed to learn more about the FMC parents. Her parents were ughh!! Am so glade they were cut off but, I do wished they received some kind of face slap there's no follow up on them. So I understood her fear of confessing to the MMC. Now the MMC family are freckling gems! They always welcomed the FMC and were loving to her, they were there with open arms for the FMC when she found out she was pregnant by her one night stand. The MMC parents were fine with MMC stepping up for the FMC and even encouraged him to confess to the FMC. The story connected great with every chapter that followed. The ending... I wasn't really a fan it kind of just stopped, no hearts or like sweetness to the ending. There were two epilogues which showed the characters after marriage and more babies. The book also ended with fourth shadowing for the next book (the MMC's sister's romance) for which I am really looking forward to. ONE BIG CON the NAMES!! the side character's kept going back and forth to their given names and nick names, which really confused me. Also, two side characters had really close nick names and one was the sister of the MMC and the other was a friend I kept forgetting who was who. I for one do not like being introduce to all ant side characters in one setting and it happened in this book in a bar. We got the side characters names and nick names like I side it always confuses me. I would recommend this book to others it is a lovely good quick read.

“Bailey, I knew you were the only girl for me the moment I laid eyes on you at four years old…”

Y’all this book was the sweetest story and I couldn’t get enough! It was beautifully written with heartache, longing, banter, and dedication.

Aiden and Bailey have known each other since they were 4 years old. They’ve been inseparable for as long as they can remember. With neglectful parents, Bailey always found herself over at Aiden’s house. She became the unofficial 5th child of the Bakers. Although, there was absolutely nothing sibling like they secretly thought of each other.

When Bailey ends up pregnant after a one night stand, Aiden is determined to show up for her more than ever. Afraid to ruin their life long friendship, they both continue to keep each other in the friend zone. As they spend even more time together and Aiden helps her through her pregnancy, the more they want to drop those walls and become more.

I absolutely loved the dedication Aiden has for Bailey. As Bailey dated, her friendship with Aiden always came first. Which was beautiful and more telling than anything. I love that they were such great friends that it build such a strong foundation when they turned to more.

Thank you Anne Mitchell for letting me be apart of the ARC team! I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for this series. 🥰

This was such a sweet and emotional friends-to-lovers romance! 🥹❤️ MC's ( Aiden and Bailey) have been best friends since childhood and reading abt their relationship slowly evolve throught many yrs into something more was absolutely beautiful.

I loved how MMC (Aiden) stepped up when (FMC) Bailey found herself facing an unexpected pregnancy alone. He was there for every appointment, craving, complication, and difficult moment, proving that his love for her went far beyond friendship. 🥹 The found-family aspect with the Bakers was also one of my favorite parts!

The slow realization that the feelings they’d buried for years might actually be mutual brought all the yearrrrning, angst and tension I wanted. And of course, the accidental pregnancy trope was a huge bonus for me! 💕👶

This was a heartfelt story about friendship, family, and finally admitting what your heart has known all along. Aiden and Bailey definitely stole my heart! 💙🧸

Wait for the Dream is the first book in the Alpine University series. It’s a cute best-friends-to-lovers romance following Aiden and Bailey. They met 18 years ago when they were both just four years old and have been inseparable ever since. However, after a one-night stand, Bailey finds herself pregnant, and the baby’s father wants nothing to do with her or the baby. Luckily, Aiden is there, ready to step up and go from best friend to boyfriend.

I looove the surprise pregnancy trope, and Anne definitely didn’t disappoint! I really enjoyed reading Aiden and Bailey’s story. Bailey had a really rough childhood, so I’m incredibly happy that Aiden crossed her path when they were only four years old and has been by her side ever since. Aiden’s family is absolutely amazing, and I already love them so much! I can’t wait to read more about his siblings and see their love stories unfold.

4/5 ⭐ - The only tiny thing I’d say is that I found Aiden a little too cheesy at times, and sometimes he was just a bit much for me. But honestly, I still really enjoyed this book and had such a good time reading it!

Thank you to Luna Literary and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I knew from the very beginning that I was probably going to enjoy this book just because it included so many of my favorite tropes, but I really underestimated how much I was going to love this book because it was just so amazing.

I love that we got to see Aiden and Bailey’s relationship from the very beginning. Like their very first interaction, it really set the mood for the rest of the story. You could tell from the very beginning how much these characters love each other, but they didn’t want to ruin their friendship in case the other didn’t feel the same way.

I also loved how Aiden’s family was so supportive and caring of Bailey, especially with everything she was dealing with at home. I loved that she had found a family who treated her like she deserved.

I also loved how Aiden was always there for Bailey and supported her through everything, and I also really enjoyed seeing him immediately step up for both Bailey and her baby.

Overall, I had such a great time reading this story, and I am so excited for the next book.

Wait for the Dream by Anne Mitchell is a sweet and engaging start to the Alpine University series. I really enjoyed the college setting and the way the story balanced romance, personal growth, and the challenges that come with chasing your dreams. The characters were easy to connect with, and their emotions and relationships felt genuine. The romance developed at a nice pace, with plenty of chemistry and moments that kept me invested in the story. I especially liked seeing the characters work through their doubts and discover what they really want for their futures. This was an enjoyable, feel-good read with relatable characters and a satisfying romantic storyline. It left me curious about the other books in the Alpine University series, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where Anne Mitchell takes the series next. Overall, Wait for the Dream was a fun, feel-good romance with characters that were easy to connect with.

Absolutely devoured this book! I love every thing about it.

The friendship between Aiden & Bailey started out so cute! And Aiden declaring at only 4 that one day Bailey would be his wife had me swooning! The nicknames are adorable Bailey-Blue & Aiden- Bear. The friendship plot built such a good foundation for the relationship of these 2 to grow!

This book had me crying the happiest of tears. The emotions I felt were crazy! Watching poor Bailey suffer with pregnancy illness and parents who see disgusting made me want to scream! But seeing how supportive Aiden, his family and their friend group was really added an extra layer of beauty to this story. Their relationship is absolutely beautiful but the devotion Aiden has towards Bailey and the baby is nothing short of amazing! The chosen/found family aspect was so heartwarming!

If you want a read that will make your heart so happy this is for you!

Now I am so excited for Magnolia & Dallas!

I loved this book so much!! Childhood best friends to lovers is always a good time, and Bailey and Aiden delivered!! They both love each other, they both don’t want to mess with their friendship, her family is awful and his is a dream, and she’s pregnant with someone else’s baby. All this rolled up into one delicious yearning filled found family story! No third act break up, just a whole lot of real life pregnancy moments that aren’t talked about enough and one huge found family to help them through.

Bailey’s parents are truly the worst, making this found family hit so hard! I teared up multiple times at all the BS she had to go through and thank goodness she had Aiden and his family! Their communication was excellent, especially after they became more. The moment they became more? I started with tears that transformed into a huge smile and then I busted up laughing!

Thank you, Anne Mitchell and Luna Literary, for an advanced copy of the eBook

This was a really cute friends-to-lovers story with the added bonus of a surprise pregnancy and not his baby. I really enjoyed how the author handled the different pregnancy complications in this book.

As much as I enjoyed this book, I also felt something was missing. I wish there had been more tension and that Aiden or his family almost immediately solved any problems that arose.

I loved Aiden, even though he was a little too perfect. He was always there for Bailey. He was there to support her, whether they were kids or adults. Bailey had a rough upbringing, and it was believable that she felt love was transactional. It was nice to see her realize that love isn’t like that and that the people who truly love you will be there no matter what!

I want to thank the author and Luna Literacy for the advance copy! It was given to me in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed how this slow burn romance played out! 🥰 Aiden, aka Bear, and Bailey, aka Blue, found each other when they were just 4 years old and grew up as best friends. Eighteen years later, they finally stop dancing around their feelings and admit there’s something more between them right after Blue finds out she’s pregnant from a one-night stand! Talk about complicated timing! 😂

I absolutely loved how Bear was always there for Blue, and Little Bear, no matter what. He was protective, supportive, and basically proved that sometimes your best friend really can be your person. Even Bear’s family treated Blue like she was already one of their own, which made their relationship and the whole story feel even more special.♥️

The slow burn, the friendship-to-love storyline, and the way everything came together kept me invested. And that ending?! 🥹❤️ I loved how it all wrapped up!

Wait for the Dream was such a sweet, emotional friends-to-lovers romance! Aiden and Bailey have been best friends basically their entire lives, and watching all those buried feelings finally start bubbling to the surface had me screaming JUST TELL EACH OTHER ALREADY. 😂

I absolutely loved how Aiden stepped up for Bailey during her pregnancy without hesitation. The surprise pregnancy, forced proximity, lifelong friendship, and mutual pining made this one so easy to get invested in. There were plenty of emotional moments mixed with sweetness, tension, and that delicious “everyone knows they’re in love except them” energy.

What an emotional read but it also completely stole my heart!! Aiden and Bailey, are childhood best friends and I love how we got to read when Aiden and Bailey met at the age of four. I love the flashbacks, both Aiden and Bailey have had crushes on each other, but we’re too scared to say anything because they didn’t want to ruin their friendship. I must say Aiden‘s family was the freaking best, they took in and supported Bailey like she was their own child. Once Aiden found out Bailey was pregnant Aiden immediately stepped up to support Bailey and the baby. Aiden and Bailey are definitely soulmates. At the age of four Aiden knew that Bailey was it for him. I must say Bailey’s parents are the freaking worst. With that being said, I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Thank you Anne Luna Lit for letting me be part of this arc.

Thank you to the author for the ARC!

Wait for the Dream was a cute friends to lovers tale which handled found family and pregnancy complications well.

While reading, I would have liked more tension and stakes. There were definitely problems but I felt like they were solved super quickly and usely by Aidan or his family (which made the feminist in me a little sad haha). Some scenes, like the boardgame nights, felt repetitive after a while and probably could have been cut/shortened. And while I loved that Aidan was always there for Bailey, at times he almost felt *too* perfect which made him less realistic/relatable.

All that to say, it was an enjoyable read. Aidan and Bailey's relationship, throughout the years, was very sweet and I couldn't help rooting for them.

This book was so sweet and I had a really good time reading it. I love that he went in the house at 4 years old and declared that he would marry her and her did. He was there from the second that test was positive and was going to be the dad no matter what. Blue was so strong and even though she had a rough pregnancy and birth she pushed through. She got everything she ever needed in life with her family and I loved it.

I will say that the writing is a bit silly so that's something to know if that kind of thing bothers you. There are also weird timeline problems. Not that big of a deal but they somehow had thanksgiving twice.

I received an arc from luna literary.

A heartwarming debut by Anne Mitchell. Plenty of emotions, from the best to the worst. Bailey finds herself in a predicament after a one night stand, her best friend Aiden and his family step up immediately. These two have been friends since childhood and Bailey practically lived at Aiden's house.

I love how their journey takes us through life, the daily aspect and changes of pregnancy, and how his family is there for Bailey. Where her parents lack, the Bakers fill the cup full. As Aiden shows Bailey how love is, her walls begin to crumble.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review

I don’t know if I could even put down the right words about how awesome this story is! I read it in one day! I loved the friendships, the found family, the chemistry, and the banter. The author had my choking up on multiple occasions.

I felt connected to Bailey on a deeper level. I could relate to her and her thought processes. Aiden is green flag energy and I am here for it!

I highly recommend this book! Easy 5 stars!

I can’t wait for more stories by this author!

What a joy it was to read this book! This story is perfect for a cosy day in or for any hopeless romantics who enjoy a friends to lovers trope! I loved not only the relationship between the 2 main characters who are best friends, but the relationships with all the side characters too- Aidan's family and their friends were such joy to read, they leapt off the pages!
While some parts felt slightly repetitive by the end of the novel, all in all I would definitely read again and look forward to book #2!

What a sweet story with a little spice. Wait For the Dream is book 1 in the Alpine University series. After two pink lines showed up, Bailey turned to her lifelong friend for support. Aiden gladly stepped into the role since he had been in love with Bailey forever. Not only did Aiden step in but so did his family as they considered Bailey one of their own. Aiden and Bailey had such a sweet relationship, it is a wonder she didn’t discover his true feelings earlier. Along with their family, they had a great network of friends. I definitely found myself cheering for Aiden and a happy ending.

What a sweet story!

This was my first time reading Anne Mitchell and I really enjoyed this cute childhood best friends to lovers, not his baby story! Aiden and Bailey were so cute from the very beginning to the very end.. how lovely that Aiden fell for Bailey the minute he met her and how her amazing family took Bailey in as their own! Aidens devotion to Bailey was so lovely to read and how he had no hesitation in helping her when she was in need...i definitely think I'll be checking out more from this series when it comes out!

What a cute story this way. It was college best friends to lovers not his baby romance. Bailey is college who gets pregnant her junior year of college from a one night stand, her best friends Aiden who secretly loves her decided to help her and situation since her family disowned her. I thought this story was cute and entertaining since this book 1 I am looking forward for the rest of the series as the author releases them.

I got this as an ARC and I’m so blessed! My honest review: OBSESSED!! I finished this last night and it was perfect! I loved every minute of Bailey and Aiden’s story! Watching their relationship grow and seeing how Aiden handled Bailey being pregnant with someone else’s baby was amazing! He was so sweet as I knew he would be! And the fact that he immediately claimed the baby as his was so sweet! I loved every minute of their story and I loved the epilogues! I can’t wait for the next book!
