LEFT FIELD is a spicy Pro Baseball, Forced Proximity, Vacation Romance from Amazon Top Ten Bestselling author Lisa Suzanne.

After accepting an offer from a luxury resort in the Bahamas, my dream of becoming a travel influencer is finally within reach. I just need one thing to make me stand out…like the pro baseball player I run into on my first night.

Archer Bradley is here for the opposite. He doesn’t want attention. He definitely doesn’t want me crashing his dinner with a smile and a camera. He’s broody and distant, but he’s also hot and charming. One night tangled in his sheets has me addicted.

When he finds out what I do, he makes me promise not to feature him. And the more time I spend with him, the easier it becomes to respect that boundary—especially as he starts to see the real me behind my camera-ready smile.

I didn’t come here to fall for some athlete, but somewhere between couples’ yoga and sunset walks on the beach, I did.

Now I have to choose between the career I’ve worked for my entire life and the love that slammed into me straight out of left field.

I just finished Left Field by Lisa Suzanne, book five in the Bradley Legacy series, and I absolutely devoured it.

I’ve been waiting for Archer Bradley’s story for what feels like forever. After everything he’s been through in this series, I desperately wanted him to get his moment, his happiness, and honestly… a break. The poor man has been collecting emotional damage like it’s a competitive sport.

Archer has always felt a little different from the rest of the Bradley family. While the Bradley name is practically synonymous with football, Archer carved out his own path in baseball, leaving him feeling like the outsider more often than not. Add in a lifetime of trust issues, family betrayal, and a father who deserves a permanent spot on the Romance Novel Worst Parents Leaderboard, and Archer enters this story carrying a lot of baggage.

When the book opens, Archer is already at one of the lowest points of his life. Between career setbacks, public scrutiny, and a personal life that recently imploded in spectacular fashion, he’s feeling isolated, defeated, and more than a little lost. On the advice of his coach, he disappears for a month-long getaway to regroup, recharge, and hopefully stop life from kicking him while he’s down.

Enter Millie Monroe.

A chance meeting at a luxury resort sets off a story that hooked me immediately. What starts as two strangers deciding to embrace their vacation alter-egos quickly turns into something much deeper than either of them expected. Their chemistry is instant, their banter is fantastic, and watching these two continually find their way back to each other had me grinning more than once.

And yes… for my fellow spice lovers, this one absolutely delivers. The book starts hot and never really apologizes for it. Open-door romance readers, you have been warned—in the best possible way. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

What I loved most was watching Archer heal. Beneath all the baseball fame, suspension drama, and family chaos is a man who has spent years protecting himself from disappointment. Millie challenges him, supports him, and somehow coaxes him out of the shell he’s built around himself. Seeing him find happiness after everything he’s endured throughout the series felt incredibly satisfying.

One of my favorite things about Lisa Suzanne’s books continues to be the interconnected world she’s created. Every time I step back into this Vegas universe, it feels like catching up with old friends. The deeper I get into the Bradley Legacy series, the more attached I become, which means I’m already emotionally preparing myself for the fact that there are only two Bradley books left. (Respectfully, I would like this universe to continue forever.)

As an ALC listener, I do want to mention the narration. While I enjoyed the audiobook overall, the narrators weren’t my favorite pairing. Millie’s narration occasionally felt a little too exaggerated when voicing secondary characters, making several of them sound similar and a bit over-the-top. On the male side, I struggled to fully connect the voice with the rugged professional baseball player I had pictured for Archer. The dual narration format was still enjoyable, but this is one of those rare cases where the voices didn’t quite match the characters I had built in my head.

Overall, Left Field was a fun, binge-worthy romance packed with healing, humor, chemistry, family drama, and plenty of steam. While it wasn’t my favorite book in the series, it was absolutely worth the wait for Archer’s story, and I loved finally seeing him get the happily ever after he deserved.

Now excuse me while I begin mourning the fact that there are only two Bradley books in the series

ARC Review ~ Spoiler Alert

Archer feels like the black sheep of the family. He is the only baseball player in a family of football players. He had his heart broken in the last book and his father screwed him over. Due to his father's actions, Archer gets suspended for 40 games. His manager tells him to lay low, serve the suspension and come back stronger. So Archer decides to get out of town and go to the Bahamas to lay low. What he didn't expect was to meet Millie Monroe, blogger/travel influencer.

Millie loves to travel and has a blog called Champagne Travel: Millie's Miles. Her angle is champagne travel on a beer budget. Millie received an offer from Paradise Island Resort in the Bahama's to come and document her stay and try all the amenities they have to offer. Millie is fun and energetic and excited about her 30 day stay. What she didn't expect was to meet a hot, grumpy pro baseball player.

Millie and Archer meet on the first night they arrive at the resort. There is an instant connection between them. Archer is there to lay low and Millie is there to document everything about her trip. Not an ideal match. But after a passionate night together they agree to see each other while they are both there for 30 days. But Archer tells her he does not want to be in her content.

Archer and Millie have the best time together exploring and going on excursions. Archer hasn't had this much fun in forever. Millie calms him. They both are realizing this is more than a fling. But Archer has trust issues and feels like people just use him for his status. He is afraid Millie might be using him to advance her career. Millie is being pressured by the resort manager to show the VIP guest in her content. She doesn't want to but he's threatened her career. So when some of Archer's teammates show up unexpectedly Millie decides to go live by the pool and captures them in the background. When Archer finds out he's livid. And he leaves the resort without a goodbye.

Millie is heartbroken she didn't get the chance to explain to Archer what happened. She feels terrible for betraying him. After the video goes viral for the resort, the manager offers her a partnership with their brand. But Millie turns down her dream offer because it feels tainted now and she lost Archer. She realizes her dreams are different now.

Archer is also struggling when he returns home. He felt things he's never felt before with Millie. Not even with his longterm girlfriend he'd been with since college. He's had betrayal after betrayal in his life. First his ex-girlfriend married his brother and his father betrayed him by involving him in his illegal gambling. He's distanced himself from his family and has always felt alone. But Millie felt like home to him. But she betrayed him and he wonders how the can get past that and forgive her.

With the help of Cooper Nash, Millie comes to Vegas to see Archer. She surprises him at a game and Archer is shocked. He's missed her. He goes to see her at her hotel and lets Millie explain what happened. Archer and Millie work things out even though Archer tells her she has to earn that trust back. But he loves her and is willing to take the leap. He ask Millie to move to Vegas to live with him and work at his foundation. Of course she accepts. She loves Archer.

I am so happy that Archer got his HEA. He so deserved it. And Millie too. They are definitely soulmates and were destined to meet at that resort. Their banter is priceless and their steamy connection is off the charts. This has to be my favorite Bradley brother so far in the series.

This may be my favourite book of the Bradley series,I loved Lisa Suzanne's writing in this one,it has a bit of everything..Romance,passion and angst.
Archer and Millie stole my heart and frustrated the hell out of me!!!
Archer Bradley is a Pro Baseball player who is in BIG trouble...He has been suspended by the league, because of his Father's betrayal and he is paying the consequences for trusting him.
Archer has to lay low,so he books himself a trip to a resort in the Carribean..He did not expect to fall in love on the Island thats for sure.
Millie Monroe works in a bar but her dream is to be an online travel infulencer, she has her own travel blog, but is working towards her dream job.So when she gets the offer to go to the Bahamas for a month and report her experience online for the resort she will be staying in..Millie takes the opportunity immediately.
This is where Archer and Millie meet randomly and Millie pretends to not know who Archer is at first and they have a very passionate, unforgettable night together.Yes these two become very intimate the first night they meet.
Then Archer discovers what she does for a living and why she is there...He wants to be annonymous and she wants to be online and feature Archer in her content.
They end up enemies for a while but fate keeps throwing them together and it is quite funny.
Then another twist when Millie becomes his fake girlfriend and they are talking again and going through Millie's sex bucket list written for her by her friend...They agree to a sex contract.
I liked Archer he has been through alot and yet he is willing to change.
To me he seemed so lost he has always felt like an outsider with his family, the Black Sheep and I felt bad for him.
He is lonely and believes he is unlovable..everyone in his life uses him for who he is to get what they want.He has major trust issues.
Mille surprised me she is so bold and asks for what she wants, she is very forward with Archer..but she is ALWAYS on her phone and filming.
Archer wants to get to know the Millie behind her online persona, not the Millie she presents to the world online.
During the month they spend at Paradise Island they learn things about themselves and about one another. The chemistry between them just keeps getting stronger and they are insatiable and the spice is WOW,WOW,WOW,!!!
I admired Millie she swallowed her pride and fought for the good thing they had built and she wasn't afraid to apologise for her mistakes..While Archer was willing to just give up.
The narration was fabulous by Tyler Darby and Celia Stone they are two voice actors that I have never listened to before...They were both very impressive and expressed themselves perfectly as the characters that they were portraying.
Tylers voice is kind of unique its hard to explain and Celia voice is very soothing I will definately listen to more of their work.
I enjoyed listening to this story it was excellent.
Left Field has many layers and I loved each part being revealed,Lisa Suzanne never fails to draw me in with these Bradley brothers.Archer Bradley and his woman Millie Monroe totally captivated me and I was so glad Archer found peace with some of his demons.
LOVED it.

I received an ARC of this book, all thoughts are my own.

This is the fifth book in the series and centers on the Bradley family black sheep Archer - the brother who chose baseball over football. Not only is he the only Bradley sibling who didn't go pro in football, but he's also the one most disconnected from his family. He ignores their calls, avoids their texts, and keeps everyone at arm's length.

Archer is carrying a lot of baggage. He's still reeling from the heartbreak of losing Tatum, his ex-girlfriend, the person he considered his best friend. But he didn't just lose her. She ended up marrying his brother. On top of that, his father manipulated him into signing documents connected to an illegal gambling operation, resulting in a 40-game suspension from baseball. With his career and personal life in turmoil, he's advised to disappear for a while and stay out of the spotlight.

That escape leads him to a luxury resort in the Bahamas, where he meets Millie. She's a travel blogger attending the resort as part of a potential paid partnership that could finally turn her passion project into a full-time career. Becoming a successful travel influencer has always been her dream, and this opportunity could be the breakthrough she's been waiting for.

Their chemistry is immediate, and what begins as a one-night hookup quickly evolves into a vacation fling. Of course, nothing is ever that simple. Archer has little patience for social media culture and struggles to understand Millie's content creation career, often viewing it as superficial and fake. I was kind of getting mad at him for essentially demeaning her dreams, but I honestly think he just didn't get it.

Despite their differences, they can't seem to stay away from each other. Every attempt to create distance ends with them crossing paths again, and the connection between them grows stronger with each encounter.

One of my favorite parts of the story was watching Archer gradually open up to Millie. She gets to see the vulnerable side of him that no one else does, and their relationship helps him confront a lot of unresolved issues. He also gains a new perspective on his past relationship with Tatum, eventually realizing that what they had wasn't healthy and that she's exactly where she's meant to be.

The story delivers plenty of steam, but it also has a solid emotional core. I loved the character growth and the way Archer's journey unfolded. The ending was especially satisfying, and I adored the surprise waiting for Millie. It was also great to catch up with the Vegas Heat guys. Can you go wrong including Cooper and Danny?

Overall, this was a fun, emotional and spicy read with a strong story behind the romance. Where will the Bradleys take us next? I'm looking forward to Liam's story!

Out of all the Bradley sibling books, this one was my favorite! It hit the spot as far as being different (just like Archer) — it has that vacay romance vibe, spicy check lists, pining from both characters, and the point that the heart wants what the heart wants. This book was so cute, had the perfect banter, hooked me from the first chapter, and me feeling the yearning, had the sweetest ending. It was the perfect mix between kicking my feet, smiling, and knowing that feeling of guarding your heart.

Archer has always been the “black sheep” of the Bradley family. He’s got such a big, sweet heart buried under all the doubts and trust issues. Not only does he play baseball while everyone else plays football, but he also just had his ex (and really first ever girlfriend) marry his brother months after they broke up. Not to mention the trouble his own dad dragged him in. Which is how he ends up suspended and in the Bahamas. He meets Millie in what may be the cutest meet cute! Even though he’s trying to keep a low profile, he is enamored with how free and vibrant Millie is. She’s there at the resort for a travel vlog contract and is quite attracted to Archer right off the bat. These two decide to make a night of it and end up having quite a spicy evening. And now they keep running into each other. The downside, Archer wants to remain low profile, and Millie needs to be public. They decide to make the best of the electric pull they both feel for each other and enjoy each other’s company.
The magnetic pull these two feel can be felt radiating off the pages! It’s so flirty, and fun, and can’t keep hands off each other. Archer brings out the natural side of Millie that is hidden behind her online personality, a side that she comes to realize isn’t as fun as being her true self with Archer. And she helps him to understand that he may have felt used in the past, but not everyone is out to do that to him.

There is a slight third act break up, but I honestly didn’t mind it because it really brought out the heart felt emotions from both Millie and Archer, and drove home the point of the heart wants what the heart wants. They do have a HEA though and it may be the sweetest ending yet!

You get a little bit of the found family aspect sprinkled in this book, too. Archer’s teammates are so supportive and really get him to remove his head from his butt. And Millie helps to ease over the sting that has come from Ford and Tatum, which was nice to see.

Overall, a fantastic read! It is part of a series, but this one felt more standalone. You get enough snippets of what’s happened to Archer to understand his feelings. So no need to have read any previous books.

This was an ARC read for me, and these are my honest opinions.

Book 5 in The Bradley Legacy

This was a fun, flirty, emotionally charged, heart achingly sweet journey. One full of heat, heart & healing. Raw. Emotional. Real. Archer & Millie will absolutely break you, in the most delicious of ways. You'll laugh. You may cry a little too. But mostly, you'll be screaming for more as these two fumble their way to forever.

One passion fueled night. No strings. No attachments. No tomorrow's... However, fate has other plans for these two.

Archer Bradley is a Left Fielder for the Vegas Heat. This sinfully delicious man is every bit the quiet, broody person that he is perceived to be. A loner by design, the self imposed black sheep of the Bradley clan will have your heart breaking simply by being his true self. Hidden beneath the layers is a broken little boy just begging to be seen. To be enough. To be loved. Those hidden vulnerabilities and unerring sweetness will have you swooning and your heart will absolutely ache as he fights against his inner demons, both past and present.

Millie Monroe is a travel blogger with dreams of becoming a top ranking influencer. Sweet with a side of sass, she's extremely confident, hard working and determined to make the best life possible for herself, all while doing what she loves. When a dream opportunity falls into her lap, she's ready to make big moves and solidify her name amongst the best in the business. The very last thing she expects is for her life to be turned upside down and inside out in ways she never saw coming.

Paradise Island Resort, Bahamas. One there to lay low. One there to live life for the world to see. From the moment they met, like moths to a flame, they were drawn to one other. A connection like they've never felt before, they found themselves quickly falling, yet before they could truly begin, their newfound connection unraveled at the seams... Dreams shattered. Hearts broken. Pride, hurt and anger, the overruling emotions...

Fate, however, isn't exactly done with these two and has a few more tricks up her sleeve, with a little push from the inside. Finding your person, the one who sees everything there is to see and still chooses you? That's worth holding onto. For Archer & Millie, there's no other choice. Worth every bump and bruise along the way, will they be able to find their way to forgiveness and understanding before it's too late? Or will past insecurities prevent them from building the future that they now both dream of?

A family so utterly broken, the Bradley "Legacy" strikes again...yet this time may just be the catalyst for healing, reconciliation and building a whole new future... Together. These two are absolute end game perfection!!

“He saw me in a way nobody else ever has. He saw me without conditions, without a filter.”

Left Field is the fifth installment in the Bradley Family series, and this time we finally step into the world of the family’s black sheep—the one who chose baseball over the Bradley football legacy—Archer. When Archer is slapped with a 40 game suspension after being linked to his father’s illegal gambling ring, he’s forced into a month long “vacation” at a tropical resort. Enter Millie, a travel blogger on the cusp of turning her dream into a full time career. She’s determined to land a paid hotel sponsorship that could change everything for her… until she meets the ultra private, emotionally guarded Archer. Suddenly, she’s torn between the career she’s been chasing and the man she’s unexpectedly falling for.

“I want to make a choice. It’s you. It will always be you.”

Millie is such a likeable, sunshine bright character—earnest, hopeful, and trying so hard to make her dreams work. But she can also be a little shortsighted, acting first and thinking later, and even though she insists she knows what she wants, there’s this lingering sense that she’s still figuring herself out. What I loved most was how Archer saw straight through the curated, camera ready version of her and connected with the real Millie underneath.

“Even though you hurt me, I think you might be the only person in the world who also has the power to heal me.”

And Archer… getting to know him beyond the headlines and the family reputation was one of my favorite parts of the book. Still waters truly run deep with him. He’s spent years keeping himself closed off, letting only a tiny handful of people into his inner world—and almost every time he’s trusted someone, they’ve betrayed him. Watching him slowly let his guard down, only to be hit with yet another blow, absolutely broke my heart. Forgiveness doesn’t come easily to him, but with the help of the few people who genuinely care, he starts to realize that maybe he doesn’t have to go through life expecting the worst.

“With you, I’m reluctantly optimistic.”

I absolutely LOVED this story. Millie and Archer are sweet and playful with so much spice, but when the emotions hit, they hit. Their chemistry is tender and messy and real, and their growth—both individually and together—made the payoff so satisfying. This series keeps getting better with each sibling, each one more layered and complex than the last, and Left Field might just be my favorite yet.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am sharing my honest review.

Before I even started reading, I was excited that Archer was getting his own story. After watching Tatum and Ford's relationship unfold—and seeing Archer try to stop their wedding—I couldn't wait to dig deeper into his character and discover what made him so complex.

Archer Bradley has always been the outsider of his family, choosing baseball over football - to name one reason. After his father manipulated him into signing documents while his mother was dying, Archer became entangled in a mess that ultimately led to his suspension from baseball. To make matters worse, Tatum—his on-again, off-again girlfriend since high school—has finally moved on and married his brother.

When baseball is your entire life and suddenly you can't play, what do you do? After his coach recommends he gets out of the spotlight - he escapes for a month to a luxury resort.

Millie dreams of becoming a travel influencer, so when she's offered the opportunity of a lifetime—a month-long stay at a luxury resort in exchange for blogging about the experience—she jumps at the chance. What she doesn't expect is to end up sharing a table with none other than Archer Bradley. Their chemistry is immediate, and from their very first night together, I was completely hooked.

As they continue crossing paths, the attraction between them becomes impossible to ignore. Millie even decides to tackle items from the sex bucket list her friends created before her trip. What starts as a fun, no-strings-attached fling quickly develops into something much deeper than either of them anticipated.

However, when Millie makes career decisions that conflict with Archer's values, he leaves paradise behind—and leaves her there as well. Once they're both back home, it's obvious their connection was far more than a vacation romance. Archer's teammates can see it, too. But without having exchanged phone numbers, how can they find their way back to each other? And even if they do reconnect, can Archer ever fully accept Millie's desire to build her life and career on social media?

I really enjoyed watching Archer's growth throughout the story. Seeing him work through his family issues and begin to heal made him a much more compelling character than I expected. The chemistry between Archer and Millie was undeniable and I was invested in their journey from beginning to end.

I have been waiting for Archer Bradley’s story, and it was everything I hoped it would be. From the first chapter, I was completely hooked and found myself flying through the pages because I just had to know how everything would work out for him.

Archer has always felt a little different from the rest of his family, and after everything he’s been through, all I wanted was to see him finally get his happy ending. He’s carrying around so much hurt, self-doubt, and baggage, yet underneath it all is such a genuinely good man. Watching him slowly open up and let someone in was one of my favorite parts of the book.

Then there’s Millie. I absolutely loved her vibrant personality and how she challenged Archer in all the best ways. As a travel influencer chasing her dreams, she’s used to living life in the spotlight, while Archer is doing everything he can to avoid it. Their connection felt instant, but what I loved most was how their relationship grew beyond the attraction and became something deeper.

The Bahamas setting was the perfect backdrop for this story. Between the beach vibes, resort atmosphere, stolen moments, and undeniable chemistry, I felt completely transported. And speaking of chemistry…wow. The tension between Archer and Millie was off the charts. The spice was definitely there, but it never overshadowed the emotional side of their relationship.

What really stood out to me was how much heart this story had. Beneath the romance and steam was a beautiful story about trust, healing, and learning to be yourself with the right person. I loved watching Archer realize that not everyone was going to let him down, and seeing Millie discover that she didn’t have to hide behind the version of herself she showed the world.

I also loved the little found-family moments sprinkled throughout the story. Archer’s teammates brought some great support and humor, and it was nice seeing the people around him genuinely want the best for him.

By the end, I was smiling, swooning, and honestly a little sad to say goodbye to these characters. This was such a fun, flirty, emotional read that gave me all the vacation romance vibes while still packing an emotional punch.

If you love broody baseball players, forced proximity, vacation romance, amazing chemistry, and characters you can’t help but root for, Left Field is definitely one to add to your TBR. ⚾️☀️🏝️❤️

I listened to this one on audiobook and really enjoyed it. Their voices seemed to fit these characters well and they helped progress the story even when I was drowning in annoyance to how a character was acting out their bad decision making. With that being said...

Going into this, I didn't realize how much of a trigger Archer's character would be for me. I understand how ridiculous that sounds, but this man had me wanting to scream in frustration. It quickly, QUICKLY became clear why things fell apart between him and Tatum, and I'm even more like, "you go girl," since she dumped him and found someone better for her. This man wants to be put above all else, including a woman's career, like he drops logs of gold or something. Oh no! She's looking at her phone. She's doing her dang JOB.

And he can try to say over and over that how he's acting is because what his father did to him, but what he does to Millie in this book is EXACTLY what he did to Tatum and why their relationship failed. And him going on and on about how she's making her career about her "worth" when she was actually focused on making a living made me want to pull my hair out. He was such a judgmental a-hole for so much of this book that even by the end when he changed I still didn't like him.

I enjoyed Millie's character, even with her flaws. She's got a goal in mind and she's working toward it, even though she doesn't feel like it fits 100%. Couldn't get any closer to how actual life feels if you tried. Then she lets some dumb dude with a big ding dong woo her into throwing it all away. 🤣 Yes, her betrayal of trust annoyed the heck out of me, and yes, Archer did get better toward the end, but I feel like he should have had to grovel just as much as she did, and he didn't. At all.

Listen, this book was entertaining. Lisa's books always are. By I think Archer is my last favorite MMC that she's ever written. I was kind of hoping I'd come into this one and he'd have grown a bit through all that happened to him, and that he'd deserve and earn his HEA but it didn't feel like that to me. I'm still rating this one 4 stars because it was well written, the characters were well crafted (even though they annoyed the heck out of me), and the story was entertaining.

I KNEW IT!!! I knew Archer Bradley was going to be my favorite because I knew he had a lot of things going on inside his head and we all just needed to get to know him 😩💚

Oh my god I devoured this book, I just couldn’t stop reading because I was so invested in Archer and Millie’s story✨ I do have to say, that I was a little worried about reading Archer because everything that happened in the previous book with Ford and Tatum, but also I was excited and intrigued because I knew he had a lot of baggage and fears thanks to his father and because he always felt like an outsider even and mostly with his family, so I was very eager to get to know him and understand him better and oh my god, I just love him 😭💚

He seems to be strong and to likes being alone, but in the inside he just want to be chosen, he’s so afraid of being used only because of who he is, the famous baseball player and billionaire member of the Bradley family, and it was even worse after he and Tatum broke up and all the things that happened in the previous book, that he almost lost Millie thinking she was right like everyone else, and I mean, he has his reasons and I just wanted to hug him and tell him I would chose him over and over again 🥹 that’s he’s worthy and lovable and kind and all the good things in the world 💚😩

And Millie, oh my girl, I love her, she was so determined to achieve her dreams, he wanted to be seen and loved and acknowledged and validated, and she was willing to work hard to make it happen, but then she met Archer, and her dreams started to evolve, and someway along the way she made a mistake and that mistake almost cost her Archer’s heart, but don’t get me wrong, I get her, because she was scared of losing herself and losing all the work she did, but gladly she was able to fix it and be with Archer and making new dreams and bucket lists 👀😮‍💨 (iykyk)

This is my new favorite book of the series and I just want to read it again, because oh my god!! Those two had me blushing and giggling because Archer had a dirty mouth, and so did Millie 🙂‍↔️😮‍💨💚

Now, can we please have Liam’s book already pretty please? Ma’am I’m confused and intrigued by the things said in the last chapter and the first one of his book, so I’m having theories but I need more please!!! 😩

𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯.

Archer and Millie are a couple who are a passionate blend of opposites. While Archer is running away to get his life back on track, Millie is running away to make her dreams come true. Their paths cross during a month-long holiday, and they are drawn to each other with incredible chemistry.

“𝘜𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.”

The walls Archer has built up because of his father and the experiences he’s been through, and the fact that Millie is at the heart of the very life Archer doesn’t want. The fact that Archer both wants Millie and yet doesn’t trust her, and runs away from her. And the fact that Millie runs towards him despite all his attempts to pull away

𝘏𝘦’𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.

Ah, but one of my favourite bits is when Archer volunteers to help Millie tick off her sex bucket list. “𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩.” What a list, though!

“𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦. 𝘍𝘶𝘤𝘬, 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥”

The moment Millie betrayed Archer’s trust, I felt so sorry for both of them. My Archer had finally learnt to trust again after everything he’d been through, yet Millie, fearing she would lose her dreams, made a single mistake—and that mistake caused the love of her life to walk away without even saying goodbye.

“𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵.”

“𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯…𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦. 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶.”

With each book in this series, I find myself loving the siblings more and asking how Lisa Suzanne could possibly top her last story. Yet, time and time again, she does just that—and with Archer, she truly held nothing back. Left Field delivers one of the most emotional, meaningful, and highly anticipated stories in the entire lineup.

What makes this pro baseball, forced proximity vacation romance so incredible is the refreshing lack of a clear villain; there is no one to blame for the conflict, which allows Archer’s healing journey to unfold in the most beautiful, organic way. His path intersects with Millie, a feisty heroine who has accepted a luxury Bahamas resort offer to launch her dream career as a travel influencer. While she is hunting for the perfect content to make her stand out, Archer is hiding out in the tropics to avoid attention entirely. He is broody and distant, yet undeniably hot and charming, and one night tangled in his sheets quickly turns into an addiction.

When Archer discovers her profession, he makes her promise to keep him off her feed. The deeper their connection grows, the easier it becomes for Millie to respect that boundary, especially as Archer begins to see and cherish the real person behind her camera-ready smile. Somewhere between couples’ yoga and sunset walks on the beach, casual attraction turns into real depth. Archer comes to understand the true meaning of forgiveness, discovering just how strong love can make you when it’s right. Ultimately, Millie is forced to choose between the career she has worked for her entire life and the love that slammed into her straight out of left field.

This story was absolutely everything I wanted it to be. The audiobook narration by Tyler Darby and Celia Stone was next level, bringing the intense emotion and brilliant chemistry of this book completely to life.

Left field (The Bradley legacy )Archer & Millie’s story (My new favourite couple in this series)
ARC copy
This is a great book in the Bradley legacy series
This time is all about Archer Bradley & Millie Monroe

He’s a pro baseball player trying to lay low after a suspension and she’s a travel influencer who just so happens to be at the same paradise resort for the same amount of time !

Loved these 2 right from their first meeting where she ends up sitting at his table for dinner and you know from the get go the sparks are gonna fly between them

The banter & chemistry is great and they get on unexpectedly well , so well that they spend the night together and the heat between them goes through the roof

As they continue to bump into each other it continues hotting up to another level whenever they are around each other ,they have a few bumps in the road due to the fact she’s there on a paid work vacation to do a job blogging & there’s a few conflicts of interest & conscious decisions that don’t work out between them as he’s a vip guest who wants to keep things calm and low key whist his suspension time passes .

During their vacation time at the resort there’s some great stand out moments , the banter between them is so good , the dialogue is so realistic.

They come from different walks of life but they just fit together so well

Ultimately she has to make a decision that works best for her career but not for them & then that’s it , it’s all over with no goodbye .

However with a few helping hands to try and get them at least to talk to each other eventually it makes them see what’s actually between them & In front of them

It’s great how the rest of the family in the Bradley legacy are included in this story in some ways, as in all the books in this series to keep some interaction throughout them

Loved this book and their story ! they became my new favourite couple in the Bradley legacy series

It's no secret that Lisa Suzanne is one of my favorite authors...as I just cannot get enough of her stories. She keeps writing these heroes that I just love even more than the next. At this point of the series (and from the previous book), we knew that Archer was going to be a damaged hero. But he was a hard nut to crack. Yes, there was an instant chemistry between he and Millie...but with all that he had gone through, I can understand why he was so hesistant to trust.

And Millie...she is the epitome of someone who thought she knew what she wanted...went after it...and then realized the dream isn't always worth it. She never expected to meet Archer and develop a relationship with him while they were in Paradise...but that's exactly what happened. And her dream conflicted with his need for privacy. Yes, she did make a huge mistake...and I'm glad that Archer didn't just forgive her. He needed time to come to the realization on his own (well, for the most part...he definitely needed a little nudge in the right direction) that Millie truly was the love of his life.

I knew a family reunion of sorts would happen eventually (or had hoped it would happen)...but it made me smile every time there was a scene with one of the Bradley siblings and Archer. It was just so nice to see them all interacting and in a positive way.

As much as I should have expected it, I never expected Archer's book to prominently feature Ford and Tatum for some reason, but it needed to happen. Archer absolutely needed to see them together, up close and personal, in order to truly move on. To see the bond that was between Ford and Tatum during their entire relationship. Doesn't mean they didn't love each other, but they didn't have the type of love that was between Ford & Tatum...and it ended up leading him to Millie.

The Bradley Legacy #5

Millie Monroe is 24 and her dream is to be a travel influencer. When she gets the chance to stay for a month at a luxury resort in the Bahamas she just knows this is her big break. All she has to do is blog about her experiences while there on her blog Champagne Travel: Millie's Miles.

Archer Bradley is almost 28 and plays professional baseball for the Vegas Heat and just got handed a 40 game suspension because of his father. His coach tells him to go to the Caribbean, lay low and stay out of trouble.

Archer likes to keep to himself, he doesn't trust well, his personal life just blew up and that involves one of his brothers, he feels all alone and emotionally is at a loss. He feels like the black sheep of the family being so different from his brothers.

So here he is stuck at a resort for a month while he waits out his suspension. What he didn't expect was a female asking to sit at his dinner table the first night due to a 45 minute wait and it only being him at his table to which he agrees.

As they talk during dinner they enjoy each other's company and this is their beginning. "I want you to make me feel something I haven't felt in far too long." Once he finds out what she is really doing there he wants her to promise not to feature or show him in any of her postings. "You can trust me, Archer." "You can pretend to hate me, or you can give in to this pull that's between us." Their chemistry is off the charts.

Neither of them expected to fall for the other but with his trust issues and her job can they make it work or will it tear them apart?

5 stars
I loved the snorkeling trip! Their bantering was hilarious. But you also felt sorry for Archer and everything that he had gone through and just wanted him to find happiness.

Left Field was everything I wanted from Archer Bradley's story and more!

I've loved every book in The Bradley Legacy series, but this one has officially become my favorite. From the very first chapter, I was completely invested in Archer and Millie's journey.

Archer has been through so much. He's always felt like the black sheep of the family—the one who chose baseball over football, watched his ex-girlfriend marry his brother, and then found his entire world turned upside down after his father's betrayal. Needing an escape from the spotlight, he heads to the Bahamas to lay low.

Millie Monroe is chasing her dream of becoming a travel influencer when she arrives at the same luxury resort. Their first meeting is unforgettable, and the chemistry between them is instant. The banter had me smiling, the tension was off the charts, and the spice definitely delivered!

What I loved most was watching Archer slowly let his walls down and learn to trust again. Seeing him open up to Millie and begin to heal was one of my favorite parts of the book. I also loved Millie's growth as she struggled to balance the career she'd worked so hard for with the feelings she was developing for Archer.

The Bahamas setting was the perfect backdrop for this romance, and I loved all the vacation vibes, forced proximity moments, and sweet scenes that made me fall even harder for this couple.

Archer completely stole my heart in this book. After everything he endured, I was so happy to see him get the happily-ever-after he deserved.

This is book 5 and follows the family black sheep (the one that choose baseball) Archer Bradley. Besides being the only one that doesn't play pro football, he is also the one that is most distanced from his family. Like, he doesn't answer their calls or texts. He's dealing with heartbreak and the fact that his ex-girlfriend married his brother (which is its own story from the previous book), his dad manipulating him into signing documents with ties to his illegal gambling schemes which lead to a 40-game suspension, and being told to go lay low somewhere during that time. It ends up with him finding himself in a resort in the Bahamas when he meets Mille. She's a travel blogger who is there for an opportunity to become a travel influencer with a paid partnership with the resort and more. It's been her dream to take the blog from being a hobby to a career. They meet the first night and things get pretty spicy after that. What starts out as one night becomes a vacation fling. There's also the issue that Archer doesn't like her content creating and finding social media fake. Then add in some growing feelings that go beyond the bedroom, a run in with his ex and his brother, and the usual of trying to avoid Millie but constantly running into her everywhere. I loved seeing Archer open up to Millie and showing the sides he doesn't show anyone. He also gets time to really see his relationship with Tatum differently. It took a bit, but he sees that what that had wasn't right and she really is where she is supposed to be. I loved the ending and the surprise for Millie. I loved seeing the Vegas Heat guys, I missed Cooper Noah. It was fun and plenty of spice but still had a good story. I can't wait for the next book.

This instalment focuses on Archer Bradley the so called black sheep of the family. He chose baseball over football and has felt like an outsider ever since. After being betrayed by his father Archer is suspended from his team and goes to the Bahamas to lay low and regroup, what he doesn’t expect is to meet a girl who will blow him away in ways he never thought possible.

Millie Monroe is a travel blogger given the opportunity to become a travel influencer with a paid partnership sets about a month long dream trip in the Bahamas trying to achieve her dream. On her first night she meets Archer and a relationship is born that will change them both.

Millie is a strong lead and is focused on achieving her goals when she initially meets Archer she doesn’t know who he is but coming from a football family the Bradley name is famous. She puts herself in Archers orbit and he finds himself opening up to her in ways he never thought possible. He struggles to let people in and generally sees people for face value which is why when he finds out what Millie does he pulls back straight away.

I love that Millie is focused on what she wants whether that’s her job or Archer. She’s goes after him and makes him see that she is not just all about what she posts. Archer also makes her realise that social media is not everything. Archer’s character certainly starts to shine however what did annoy me was that when things don’t go his way he pulls back and leaves. I love the inclusion of some of the Vegas Heat team and their meddling to make Archer see what he is missing. He realises that they are more of a family than he realised.

There is plenty of spice in this book and lots of chemistry between the leads. I loved this and is a great addition to the Bradey Legacy series. Oooo and that teaser for Liam’s book … well please release this now!!!!

Left Field by Lisa Suzanne was such a fun and addictive vacation romance with the perfect mix of heat, heart, and emotional tension. Archer Bradley completely stole my heart with his broody baseball player energy, and I loved watching his walls slowly come down as he connected with Millie Monroe in the beautiful Bahamas setting.

The forced proximity and vacation vibes made this story impossible to put down. From sunset walks on the beach to the undeniable chemistry between Archer and Millie, every moment felt romantic and emotional. I really enjoyed the balance between Millie chasing her dream career as a travel influencer while also navigating unexpected feelings for a man who wanted to stay out of the spotlight.

Archer and Millie had amazing chemistry from the start, but what made this story stand out was how their relationship developed beyond attraction. Their connection felt genuine, emotional, and full of vulnerability. The conflict between protecting her career and respecting Archer’s privacy added depth to the romance and kept me fully invested.

Lisa Suzanne delivered another swoony and spicy sports romance that was packed with tension, heart, and unforgettable vacation romance vibes. Left Field was emotional, sexy, and beautifully romantic from beginning to end.

Left Field is so many amazing things all wrapped up into one beautiful story. Archer Bradley finally gets his HEA in an unexpected way, and the best part? We FINALLY get to know who he truly is! A complex man who has experienced so much heartache and held himself apart for so long, it is touching to watch him open up to someone and show his vulnerabilities and insecurities. Talented, dirty talking, sweet, and wise beyond his years, Archer thrives on living in the moment and tries to maintain some semblance of privacy in a very public career. The things we learn about him along the way just add to his appeal! I absolutely adored him and all of his sides. Travel blogger Millie was harder for me to warm up to—she is glued to her cell phone and so laser focused on “making it” that she misses out on reality. She has a heart of gold but lacks backbone and common sense in some areas, whereas in others she is brilliant. Some of her choices are super cringy, and I found myself yelling at her on more than one occasion. Her growth arc in this story is amazing, and when she finally starts making different choices she just absolutely blooms. The fiery connection between Archer and Millie sparks and sizzles throughout the story, and it’s clear that these two are meant to be—they just both have to get out of their own ways! There aee lots of on page adventures of all types, and plenty of character cameos from other stories in this series as well as other Lisa Suzanne books. The narrators are fire, delivering fantastic and heartfelt performances. They really brought the emotion, action, and drama to life with their delivery. With all the feels and so much more, this one is a must listen!!!

I can’t believe the moment is finally here and we get Archer’s story! To say I was beyond excited for this one is an understatement. This is book five in the Bradley Legacy series and let me just say this one did not disappoint.

Archer is the one who deviated from his family legacy, choosing baseball instead of football. He has always felt like the black sheep, or that he did not fit in with his family. When his dad’s underhandedness got him suspended for 40 games, he retreated to lay low at a resort in the Bahamas. This is where he meets Millie.

Millie is an aspiring travel influencer and is offered a free stay at the resort in return for her posting about the resort. This is the career she has been aspiring for. One lack of dinner reservation leads these two to sharing a table, which then leads to a no strings fling. She agrees to keep him out of their posts and he agrees to continue to rock her world.

She sees a deeper side to ARcher, one he hides from everyone. The last time he let someone in he was betrayed, heartbroken and devastated. Millie offers him a place to let his guard down once again. He is aggravated that she is always distracted by her phone, and she is learning that to be in the moment is better than being behind the camera. This is a lesson for everyone.

The longer these two spend together, the deeper the feelings become. However, they both know that there is an end in sight. As deeper feelings grow, could a lapse in judgement cost them everything they might be building? This book had all the things I love in a romance. The banter? Chefs kiss. The spice? Yes. The twist? Wow, this one really got me in the feels for both of them. Grab this one, but do yourself a favor and read the whole series, you won’t regret it.

I absolutely loved this book. I my opinion, the steamiest book so far in this series.

It was interesting to get to know Archer Bradley, since up to this point we did not know a lot about him, other than he did not talk to his family members much and was a baseball player unlike the football playing brothers.

We find out the Archer feels like he is the back sheep of the family. Not only because he plays a different sport than the other brothers, but because he doesn't look like the rest of his siblings.

Archer is already down at the beginning of the book after his long time on again off again girlfriend married his older brother. He then make a bad decision to sign some papers for his father. This gets him in trouble with the league and he is suspended for 40 games. It is suggested that he lay low for a most of that time, so he makes a reservation for a month at a resort in the Bahamas.

At the same time, Millie Monroe is offered a free stay at the same resort to highlight the resort on her social media.
Millie and Archer run into each other the first day. There are no tables available at the restaurant and she asks to sit with Archer. Sparks fly from the beginning, but there is a little of a misunderstanding. They keep running into each other and start to fall hard. But Archer is very private and asks that Millie keep him off of her social media. Millie does not mention him, but captures him and some baseball friends in the background on a live video. This ends whatever relationship they had started.

When Archer gets back to Vegas, he learns that family is not just the family that you are born with but the family that you choose.

𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 is the 5th book in the Bradley Legacy series by Lisa Suzanne, featuring a passionate baseball/vacation romance for Archer and Millie. Fans of this series have been anxiously awaiting Archer’s story. Talk about bad luck… his long-time love fell fast for his brother and his conman father tricked him into signing a paper that tied Archer to his illegal scheme, effectively stripping him of the only thing he has left… baseball. Now he’s ordered to lay low in a Caribbean resort during his suspension. He just didn’t expect to immediately connect to an attractive woman right off the bat. Archer and Millie brought tons of fiery passion with the potential to melt reading devices!😍🥵🔥 Too bad she was a travel blogger with a contract to document her experiences. His insecurities and past betrayals definitely didn’t mesh with her online ambitions. That was a clear dramatic IED waiting to go off!🫣 I loved their chemistry and dynamic together, as they enjoyed excursions and just getting lost in each other. I just kept finding myself wishing for better communication, though. The way his teammates and family members were woven into the story was also great, adding to the emotional payoff, the banter, and the found family vibe. I do wish there was more of an update on the villainous father, but I realize there are 2 books to go in the series, and I need to learn patience with overarching themes! The struggle is real!😅 I’m super intrigued with the way the next book was set up! I can’t wait for more Bradley family drama and hot romance!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

💚🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW💚🎧

Lisa Suzanne will always be an instant read author to me! I devour every book she writes and I can never wait for the next book to get released. This series has been absolutely amazing and I have loved getting to know the Bradley brothers. This one is about Archer and he is the one that unfortunately has a lot of things to get over from his past.

The narrators Tyler Darby & Celia Stone were PHENOMENAL! These two held my attention and kept me entertained the entire time I was listening to this book.

Archer was a hard character for me. I know he had a lot of things that triggered him because of his past and things with his dad but I couldn't get over with how rude this man was to Millie. In the beginning when Millie and Archer meet things seemed to be going good and I liked these two together but because of her job he has triggers.

Millie is the sweetest and I just loved her. She's trying to find her place in this world and is trying hard to make it as an influencer. But things will get complicated for her. Archer and Millie will have ups and down but in the end these two will have to figure out if love is worth the risk.

This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. This book unfortunately wasn't my favorite but I did like the ending and I'm looking forward to the rest of the books in this series! I would still recommend this book because Lisa Suzanne is a phenomenal writer and just because this one didn't hit for me doesn't mean you won't love it.

Thank you Lisa Suzanne & Valentine PR for allowing me to listen to this ALC for my honest opinion.

Left Field
The Bradley Legacy #5
By Lisa Suzanne
Narrated by Tyler Darby, Celia Stone

This series is just so much fun, I fall right into the next saga the Bradley child has to deal with. This one has the most angst since it features Archer, and his life was effected the most by his father's dealings. The signing of paperwork led him to a 40 game suspension, so he is off on a vacation to lay low and get his life together. Little did he know meeting travel influencer Millie would literally change his life. She is at the same resort, reporting on all the details of the place in return for a month long free stay. Meeting Archer was just a benefit, as they hit it off from the start. But her job is not exactly good for Archer. He wants to be out of the public eye, so these two spend time together without his picture showing up anywhere and their lust filled start slowly turned into real feelings. Until things took a turn. Lisa Suzanne is a master at emotion, pulling me into the story. I feel like I am one of the family and hurt as the Bradley kids hurt and love as they love. It's like being part of the family and I cannot get enough.

Tyler Darby and Celia Stone are the narrators and together they have created a phenomenal listen. Darby is perfect as the broody Archer. He has a big chip on his shoulder and slowly lets it lift. Stone is Millie, full of excitement for her adventure both for work and personal. I loved the way Darby and Stone complimented each other with their voices and really enjoyed this listen.

Left Field didn’t just become my favourite Bradley Legacy book it completely swept me away. From the moment Millie arrives in the Bahamas chasing her dream of becoming a travel influencer, I felt every bit of her hope, her determination, and that spark of wanting something more. And then she collides with Archer Bradley the broody pro baseball player who wants nothing to do with attention, cameras, or the spotlight she’s trying so hard to step into.

Their dynamic hooked me instantly. The forced proximity, the unexpected connection, the way one night changes everything it all felt so raw and so beautifully messy. I loved watching Millie slowly peel back Archer’s layers, and I loved how he sees the real her behind the curated smiles and perfect shots.

Somewhere between the couples’ yoga, the quiet moments, and those soft, unexpected confessions, their relationship became something that felt deeply emotional and incredibly genuine.

What hit me hardest was Millie’s internal struggle choosing between the career she’s worked for her entire life and the love that blindsides her in the best way. That emotional tug-of-war made this story feel even more powerful.

A huge thank‑you to Lisa Suzanne for the ARC and for letting me continue this journey with the Bradley bunch.

Every book pulls me deeper into this world, but this one felt truly special. Archer and Millie’s story is going to stay with me for a long time, and I’m already so excited for whatever comes next for this family.

This book is the next installment in the Bradley Legacy series, although I do believe that it could be read as a stand alone without any issue. This book follows Archer Bradley (pro baseball player) and Millie (aspiring travel influencer) in a wonderful grumpy / Sunshine story.

I can honestly say, this book took me by surprise. I went into this book not overly excited as I did not love Archer from his appearances in previous books. I was quickly surprised to find that not only did he quickly become one of my favorite MMC's of this series, and of any recent reads, but the story was utterly captivating. I could not put it down and when I did, it was all that I could think about.

A large part of this story takes place at a resort in the Bahamas. Archer is at the resort to lay low while on a break from baseball while Millie has been brought in as a travel influencer in the hopes for furthering her career. What starts out as a "one night stand" and evolves into a hilarious trip where they are thrown together at every turn leading too an addicting story with fun activities (yoga, snorkeling, historical tours etc). What ensues for these two over their stay will have you smiling, shaking your head and laughing out loud.

Watching both of these characters grow throughout the course of this book was utterly captivating. I was sad when the book came to an end but hope we get glimpses into their future story in books to come. Trust me, this is a story that you do not want to miss.

Left Field (The Bradley Legacy #5) by Lisa Suzanne is a contemporary grumpy/sunshine one-night stand vacation romance told in first-person dual POV. It’s book five of a series about the Bradley siblings and can be read as a standalone, but those who’ve read Snap Decision first will have more insight into Archer and his past.

The story follows the relationship between pro baseball player Archer Bradley and travel blogger Millie Monroe while they each spend a month at the same luxury resort after having a one-night stand on their first night. In the wake of a family scandal, Archer’s there to lie low until his suspension is over and he can go back to playing baseball. Millie was hired by the resort to spend a month trying everything out and creating (hopefully viral) social media content. Her goal is to do such a good job that she earns a brand partnership.

I enjoyed Millie and Archer’s story. After reading the previous books, especially Snap Decision, I was looking forward to learning more about Archer, and Left Field did not disappoint. Millie and Archer had an instant, undeniable chemistry. Though Archer did his best to fight it, he couldn’t resist Millie for long, and soon they were getting hot and steamy any chance they had, unable to keep their hands off each other. But with Archer’s goal of avoiding the media and Millie’s goal of going viral, arriving at their HEA is not a smooth ride.
