I have been waiting for Archer’s story for ages, and it completely lived up to the hype.
He has always been the misunderstood, sensitive Bradley brother, and seeing him finally catch a break after all the betrayal he faced was so cathartic. Watching him retreat to the Bahamas to escape his messy reality made me want to jump into the pages and give him a hug, but seeing him meet Millie was the perfect turning point for his healing.
Millie is such a delight, and her bold, bubbly energy was the ultimate match for Archer’s grumpy, guarded nature. Their forced proximity in paradise led to some of the most intense chemistry I have read in a long time, and I loved how they balanced each other out. Even when things got complicated due to her influencer lifestyle and his trust issues, the way they fought to earn each other’s hearts kept me glued to the pages.
This story had the perfect blend of spice, emotional depth, and that signature Bradley family charm. It was honestly beautiful to watch Archer move past his demons and finally let someone in, proving that he isn't just the black sheep of the family. I am already mourning the fact that I’m reaching the end of this series because I could live in this universe forever.
Watching these two find their way to each other was the perfect escape, and I’m so happy they finally got the happily ever after they both deserved.

i wish he didn’t bring it up every time something good was happening between them, and i also found myself wishing Millie would put her phone down and simply enjoy the moment.

This may be my favourite book of the Bradley series,I loved Lisa Suzanne's writing in this one,it has a bit of everything..Romance,passion and angst.
Archer and Millie stole my heart and frustrated the hell out of me!!!
Archer Bradley is a Pro Baseball player who is in BIG trouble...He has been suspended by the league,because of his Father's betrayal and he is paying the consequences for trusting him.
Archer has to lay low,so he books himself a trip to a resort in the Carribean..He did not expect to fall in love on the Island thats for sure.
Millie Monroe works in a bar but her dream is to be an online travel infulencer,she has her own travel blog,but is working towards her dream job.So when she gets the offer to go to the Bahamas for a month and report her experience online for the resort she will be staying in..Millie takes the opportunity immediately.
This is where Archer and Millie meet randomly and Millie pretends to not know who Archer is at first and they have a very passionate,unforgettable night together.Yes these two become very intimate the first night they meet.
Then Archer discovers what she does for a living and why she is there...He wants to be annonymous and she wants to be online and feature Archer in her content.
They end up enemies for a while but fate keeps throwing them together and it is quite funny.
Then another twist when Millie becomes his fake girlfriend and they are talking again and going through Millie's sex bucket list written for her by her friend...They agree to a sex contract.
I liked Archer he has been through alot and yet he is willing to change.
To me he seemed so lost he has always felt like an outsider with his family,the Black Sheep and I felt bad for him.
He is lonely and believes he is unlovable..everyone in his life uses him for who he is to get what they want.He has major trust issues.
Mille surprised me she is so bold and asks for what she wants,she is very forward with Archer..but she is ALWAYS on her phone and filming.
Archer wants to get to know the Millie behind her online persona,not the Millie she presents to the world online.
During the month they spend at Paradise Island they learn things about themselves and about one another.The chemistry between them just keeps getting stronger and they are insatiable and the spice is WOW,WOW,WOW,!!!
I admired Millie she swallowed her pride and fought for the good thing they had built and she wasn't afraid to apologise for her mistakes..While Archer was willing to just give up.
The narration was fabulous by Tyler Darby and Celia Stone they are two voice actors that I have never listened to before...They were both very impressive and expressed themselves perfectly as the characters that they were portraying.
Tylers voice is kind of unique its hard to explain and Celia voice is very soothing I will definately listen to more of their work.
I enjoyed listening to this story it was excellent.
Left Field has many layers and I loved each part being revealed,Lisa Suzanne never fails to draw me in with these Bradley brothers.Archer Bradley and his woman Millie Monroe totally captivated me and I was so glad Archer found peace with some of his demons.

Absolutely DEVOURED & Thoroughly enjoyed Archer’s book.
I knew I’d love this brother !! He’s just the misunderstood, most sensitive and guarded sibling of the group. But has the biggest feelings of them all. In the instance of rekindling a relationship with his father in the middle of grieving the loss of his mother, his father takes advantage and has him sign documents to underground gambling rings.
Once the media found out, the MLB obviously had to take initiative and issue a form of suspension, so off the field, he’s to remain off the grid. Decides on a vacation.
Here enters - Millie- social media Travel Influencer by day, bartender by night. And their meet cute was epic, with remarkable chemistry. Archer of course with his guarded persona and trust issues pushes her away and she pushes him back. Showing they are definitely each others Ying & Yang.
After a fall out, what they finally realize they are epic for each other and come to the realization that they are better together for yet another epic reconciliation.
Archer definitely is a romantic at heart and his love language definitely is quality time, and physical touch, which is the most sweetest thing to me! And Millie fighting for him, sticking up

Okay I am not going to lie, I was a little scared to read Archer’s story because of everything that happened in Ford and Tatum’s story (Snap Decision) but MAN am I happy with their story!! And Archer’s filthy mouth?! WHEW 🥵
Do you believe in fate? Or being in the right place at the right time? Because this story is the definition of fate. It’s easy to say yes to a one-night stand, especially if you won’t see the person again. But what happens when you’re both at the resort for 30 days together? Archer is a professional baseball player that is supposed to be ‘laying low’ in the Bahamas when he meets Millie, a travel influencer. These two hit it off right away, but when feelings get involved and trust is broken, they have to decide what’s worth fighting for.
This is book 5 in The Bradley Legacy and I just have to say trust the process on Archer! He was the character I didn’t know I needed to read about and I loved every minute of this story. And let’s not forget how Millie is so bold and direct within this story, she had me cackling so many times! Thank you Lisa and Valentine PR for the opportunity!

After his father manipulates him during an unbelievable loss, Archer is forced to spend a 40 game suspension away from the game he’s always been able to count on. Millie is a travel influencer given the opportunity of a lifetime to prove herself worthy of a brand ambassadorship. Both circumstances put the FMC and the MMC in the Bahamas for an extended stay.. we know I love some forced proximity and fake dating, yall! Book 5 of the Bradley Legacy was a treat!

This is where half stars would come in handy.
As this is probably more a 3.5 star book.
Mind you. I am vested in this series. Have read every story so far and will likely still read Liam’s.
I was also really excited for Archer’s HEA.
I could not fully enjoy Tatum and Ford’s story because it felt so hurtful to Archer.
And in that respect I loved this story for him and Millie.
The book started out strong. But once the conflict hit I felt like the wheels fell off.
Archer didn’t give Millie any time to explain and at no point did he ever show interest in or respect for her chosen career. He only showed disdain. And when everything went down she just accepted the blame for everything. He wasn’t blameless.
And then Archer. So mad. So unforgiving. And then Millie shows up and it’s all ok? All is forgiven. Now we are living together and getting engaged? It all just went so fast without any real conversation?
I don’t know. For me, the second half of the book just felt like a rush to the end.

This was not for me, the couple fought constantly and not in a way that built sexual tension. The mmc basically forced the fmc to give up her career after telling her over and over that she was a bad person for having the aspirations that she did. Also they need to go back to sex ed and pay attention to the safe sex part. Thank you to Valentine PR for the gifted ALC.

The forced proximity and tropical setting add an extra layer of escapism that kept me completely invested. Archer’s story is one that had piqued my interest from the moment his brother fall first his girl.

It’s the audiobook experience that made the chemistry even more addictive. Every stolen glance, playful interaction, and emotional revelation felt heightened through the narration, making it difficult to stop listening once the story picked up momentum.
My only drawback is that it would’ve been better in Duet.
But Tyler Darby & Celia Stone performance help highlight every single moment of this story, they were perfect as the main characters, as they showed us why they are among the top performers amongst narrators.

The forced proximity and tropical setting add an extra layer of escapism that kept me completely invested. Archer’s story is one that had piqued my interest from the moment his brother fall first his girl.

It’s the audiobook experience that made the chemistry even more addictive. Every stolen glance, playful interaction, and emotional revelation felt heightened through the narration, making it difficult to stop listening once the story picked up momentum.
My only drawback is that it would’ve been better in Duet.
But Tyler Darby & Celia Stone performance help highlight every single moment of this story, they were perfect as the main characters, as they showed us why they are among the top performers amongst narrators.

I just finished Left Field by Lisa Suzanne, book five in the Bradley Legacy series, and I absolutely devoured it.
I’ve been waiting for Archer Bradley’s story for what feels like forever. After everything he’s been through in this series, I desperately wanted him to get his moment, his happiness, and honestly… a break. The poor man has been collecting emotional damage like it’s a competitive sport.
Archer has always felt a little different from the rest of the Bradley family. While the Bradley name is practically synonymous with football, Archer carved out his own path in baseball, leaving him feeling like the outsider more often than not. Add in a lifetime of trust issues, family betrayal, and a father who deserves a permanent spot on the Romance Novel Worst Parents Leaderboard, and Archer enters this story carrying a lot of baggage.
When the book opens, Archer is already at one of the lowest points of his life. Between career setbacks, public scrutiny, and a personal life that recently imploded in spectacular fashion, he’s feeling isolated, defeated, and more than a little lost. On the advice of his coach, he disappears for a month-long getaway to regroup, recharge, and hopefully stop life from kicking him while he’s down.
Enter Millie Monroe.
A chance meeting at a luxury resort sets off a story that hooked me immediately. What starts as two strangers deciding to embrace their vacation alter-egos quickly turns into something much deeper than either of them expected. Their chemistry is instant, their banter is fantastic, and watching these two continually find their way back to each other had me grinning more than once.
And yes… for my fellow spice lovers, this one absolutely delivers. The book starts hot and never really apologizes for it. Open-door romance readers, you have been warned—in the best possible way. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

One of my favorite things about Lisa Suzanne’s books continues to be the interconnected world she’s created. Every time I step back into this Vegas universe, it feels like catching up with old friends. The deeper I get into the Bradley Legacy series, the more attached I become, which means I’m already emotionally preparing myself for the fact that there are only two Bradley books left. (Respectfully, I would like this universe to continue forever.)
As an ALC listener, I do want to mention the narration. While I enjoyed the audiobook overall, the narrators weren’t my favorite pairing. Millie’s narration occasionally felt a little too exaggerated when voicing secondary characters, making several of them sound similar and a bit over-the-top. On the male side, I struggled to fully connect the voice with the rugged professional baseball player I had pictured for Archer. The dual narration format was still enjoyable, but this is one of those rare cases where the voices didn’t quite match the characters I had built in my head.
Overall, Left Field was a fun, binge-worthy romance packed with healing, humor, chemistry, family drama, and plenty of steam. While it wasn’t my favorite book in the series, it was absolutely worth the wait for Archer’s story, and I loved finally seeing him get the happily ever after he deserved.

Archer feels like the black sheep of the family. He is the only baseball player in a family of football players. He had his heart broken in the last book and his father screwed him over. Due to his father's actions, Archer gets suspended for 40 games. His manager tells him to lay low, serve the suspension and come back stronger. So Archer decides to get out of town and go to the Bahamas to lay low. What he didn't expect was to meet Millie Monroe, blogger/travel influencer.
Millie loves to travel and has a blog called Champagne Travel: Millie's Miles. Her angle is champagne travel on a beer budget. Millie received an offer from Paradise Island Resort in the Bahama's to come and document her stay and try all the amenities they have to offer. Millie is fun and energetic and excited about her 30 day stay. What she didn't expect was to meet a hot, grumpy pro baseball player.
Millie and Archer meet on the first night they arrive at the resort. There is an instant connection between them. Archer is there to lay low and Millie is there to document everything about her trip. Not an ideal match. But after a passionate night together they agree to see each other while they are both there for 30 days. But Archer tells her he does not want to be in her content.
Archer and Millie have the best time together exploring and going on excursions. Archer hasn't had this much fun in forever. Millie calms him. They both are realizing this is more than a fling. But Archer has trust issues and feels like people just use him for his status. He is afraid Millie might be using him to advance her career. Millie is being pressured by the resort manager to show the VIP guest in her content. She doesn't want to but he's threatened her career. So when some of Archer's teammates show up unexpectedly Millie decides to go live by the pool and captures them in the background. When Archer finds out he's livid. And he leaves the resort without a goodbye.
Millie is heartbroken she didn't get the chance to explain to Archer what happened. She feels terrible for betraying him. After the video goes viral for the resort, the manager offers her a partnership with their brand. But Millie turns down her dream offer because it feels tainted now and she lost Archer. She realizes her dreams are different now.
Archer is also struggling when he returns home. He felt things he's never felt before with Millie. Not even with his longterm girlfriend he'd been with since college. He's had betrayal after betrayal in his life. First his ex-girlfriend married his brother and his father betrayed him by involving him in his illegal gambling. He's distanced himself from his family and has always felt alone. But Millie felt like home to him. But she betrayed him and he wonders how the can get past that and forgive her.
With the help of Cooper Nash, Millie comes to Vegas to see Archer. She surprises him at a game and Archer is shocked. He's missed her. He goes to see her at her hotel and lets Millie explain what happened. Archer and Millie work things out even though Archer tells her she has to earn that trust back. But he loves her and is willing to take the leap. He ask Millie to move to Vegas to live with him and work at his foundation. Of course she accepts. She loves Archer.
I am so happy that Archer got his HEA. He so deserved it. And Millie too. They are definitely soulmates and were destined to meet at that resort. Their banter is priceless and their steamy connection is off the charts. This has to be my favorite Bradley brother so far in the series.

Left Field, the double entendre is well played in this 5th book of the Bradley Family series. This is Archer’s book, the one we have been waiting for since Snap Decision, (Book 4) where Archer’s girlfriend Tatum marries his brother.
Archer is at a loss and feeling abandoned in both his professional and personal life: His father misled him into signing his name on an illegal gambling operation and let him take the fall where the MLB suspended him 40 games; he let Tatum, his longtime girlfriend go, so she wouldn’t be a part of the fallout then we saw her marry his brother; and he doesn’t relate to his football oriented family for support. He takes his coach’s recommendation and leaves town for a month to “lay low” during his suspension in the Bahamas. His trust issues are high, and his confidence is at an all-time low.
Millie, a wannabe Influencer, bartender and small-time travel blogger from Chicago enters the picture. She is given an incredible opportunity to be an online Influencer at the same Bahamian resort (unknowing) that Archer is also staying there. Millie is young, impetuous in her thinking and behavior—perky, ever chipper and lacking in depth. She is awed and impressed by the experience she has been offered. She meets Archer and dives right in, not understanding how to balance her professional role and being with a highly visual person.
The two characters have their issues: his of trust and hers of a lack of worldliness and naivete. She is impressed by his professional status and feels good about herself for not exploiting it at the time of her discovery. He enjoys his sexual activity but reiterates to himself that he has to “keep it on the down-low”. Archer sees potential in Millie and tries to help her see where her professional goals could take her, however Millie is young and can’t envision more than what she knows. Both dive into this romp, but it was obvious that there was a lack of responsibility, whether it be Russian Roulette with birth control or Archer’s being seen in public. Sex was a New Game and it seemed to me, it was always the answer they turned to when they avoided communication.
Of course, crisis happens—he is “outed” when his teammates arrive for a visit. Millie tries to sidestep and justify her actions, not reporting a proposition by her boss as well as his threat to fire her if she didn’t feature Archer at the resort. This is where Millie needed to step up and own her actions, yet when another blogger contacts her, she justifies her lack of action about the threat because she is happy in her own life instead of serving the greater good. And Archer? He rolled over on his staunch No Posts positioning. I found this to be a dichotomy to the consistent messaging in the story.
I felt that the storyline was great—a creative way to bring Archer into the fold and address his issues. And Millie is flighty enough to offset the seriousness of Archer’s life. However, Millie and Archer’s lack of responsibility to own their issues by using sex as the means to cover and resolve their issues really let me down, taking away from the positive messaging of the story.
That said, I give this book 4.5 stars and look forward to next book in the series.

Archer has to lay low,so he books himself a trip to a resort in the Carribean..He did not expect to fall in love on the Island thats for sure.
Millie Monroe works in a bar but her dream is to be an online travel infulencer,she has her own travel blog,but is working towards her dream job.So when she gets the offer to go to the Bahamas for a month and report her experience online for the resort she will be staying in..Millie takes the opportunity immediately.
This is where Archer and Millie meet randomly and Millie pretends to not know who Archer is at first and they have a very passionate,unforgettable night together.Yes these two become very intimate the first night they meet.
Then Archer discovers what she does for a living and why she is there...He wants to be annonymous and she wants to be online and feature Archer in her content.
They end up enemies for a while but fate keeps throwing them together and it is quite funny.
Then another twist when Millie becomes his fake girlfriend and they are talking again and going through Millie's sex bucket list written for her by her friend...They agree to a sex contract.
I liked Archer he has been through alot and yet he is willing to change.
To me he seemed so lost he has always felt like an outsider with his family,the Black Sheep and I felt bad for him.
He is lonely and believes he is unlovable..everyone in his life uses him for who he is to get what they want.He has major trust issues.
Mille surprised me she is so bold and asks for what she wants,she is very forward with Archer..but she is ALWAYS on her phone and filming.
Archer wants to get to know the Millie behind her online persona,not the Millie she presents to the world online.
During the month they spend at Paradise Island they learn things about themselves and about one another.The chemistry between them just keeps getting stronger and they are insatiable and the spice is WOW,WOW,WOW,!!!
I admired Millie she swallowed her pride and fought for the good thing they had built and she wasn't afraid to apologise for her mistakes..While Archer was willing to just give up.
The narration was fabulous by Tyler Darby and Celia Stone they are two voice actors that I have never listened to before...They were both very impressive and expressed themselves perfectly as the characters that they were portraying.
Tylers voice is kind of unique its hard to explain and Celia voice is very soothing I will definately listen to more of their work.
I enjoyed listening to this story it was excellent.
Left Field has many layers and I loved each part being revealed,Lisa Suzanne never fails to draw me in with these Bradley brothers.Archer Bradley and his woman Millie Monroe totally captivated me and I was so glad Archer found peace with some of his demons.

The latest instalment of the Bradford Legacy series centres around Archer Bradley who has always felt like the outsider in his family where football is practically a way of life. Unlike the rest of the Bradleys, his passion lies with baseball, leaving him feeling disconnected from his siblings. In pursuing a career in the sport he loves, over the years he has distanced himself from them and his sense of isolation only deepens when a series of betrayals threatens both his career and his personal life. This is a quick, engaging read and easily the angstiest book in the series so far. Archer is my favourite Bradley brother to date, and it is impossible not to sympathise with everything he had endured. Between his family’s betrayal, the damage to his career, and the heartbreak of his failed relationship, he has more than earned his trust issues. His emotional journey feels authentic, and I found myself rooting for him from the very beginning. Unfortunately, Millie is a more frustrating character. I had high hopes that she would break the pattern established by some of the previous heroines in the series, but ultimately, she leaves me disappointed. While I understand the pressure she is under, Archer makes his boundaries perfectly clear, and she knowingly crosses them. What makes matters worse is her initial attempt to justify her actions through a loophole rather than taking full responsibility for her actions. Their resulting third-act breakup feels inevitable, but it is refreshing to see a romance where the heroine is the one who genuinely needs to make amends and grovel. Archer has already been let down by so many people in his life, making Millie’s betrayal particularly difficult for him to overlook.

One of my favorite parts of the story was watching Archer gradually open up to Millie. She gets to see the vulnerable side of him that no one else does, and their relationship helps him confront a lot of unresolved issues. He also gains a new perspective on his past relationship with Tatum, eventually realizing that what they had wasn't healthy and that she's exactly where she's meant to be.
The story delivers plenty of steam, but it also has a solid emotional core. I loved the character growth and the way Archer's journey unfolded. The ending was especially satisfying, and I adored the surprise waiting for Millie. It was also great to catch up with the Vegas Heat guys. Can you go wrong including Cooper and Danny?
Overall, this was a fun, emotional and spicy read with a strong story behind the romance. Where will the Bradleys take us next? I'm looking forward to Liam's story!

Out of all the Bradley sibling books, this one was my favorite! It hit the spot as far as being different (just like Archer) — it has that vacay romance vibe, spicy check lists, pining from both characters, and the point that the heart wants what the heart wants. This book was so cute, had the perfect banter, hooked me from the first chapter, and me feeling the yearning, had the sweetest ending. It was the perfect mix between kicking my feet, smiling, and knowing that feeling of guarding your heart.
Archer has always been the “black sheep” of the Bradley family. He’s got such a big, sweet heart buried under all the doubts and trust issues. Not only does he play baseball while everyone else plays football, but he also just had his ex (and really first ever girlfriend) marry his brother months after they broke up. The magnetic pull these two feel can be felt radiating off the pages! It’s so flirty, and fun, and can’t keep hands off each other. Archer brings out the natural side of Millie that is hidden behind her online personality, a side that she comes to realize isn’t as fun as being her true self with Archer. And she helps him to understand that he may have felt used in the past, but not everyone is out to do that to him.
There is a slight third act break up, but I honestly didn’t mind it because it really brought out the heart felt emotions from both Millie and Archer, and drove home the point of the heart wants what the heart wants. They do have a HEA though and it may be the sweetest ending yet!
You get a little bit of the found family aspect sprinkled in this book, too. Archer’s teammates are so supportive and really get him to remove his head from his butt. And Millie helps to ease over the sting that has come from Ford and Tatum, which was nice to see.
Overall, a fantastic read! It is part of a series, but this one felt more standalone. You get enough snippets of what’s happened to Archer to understand his feelings. So no need to have read any previous books.

The Bradley Brother I Didn't Expect to Love. Book 5 of the Bradley Family series finally gives us Archer Bradley's story, and it was absolutely worth the wait.
Archer has always been the black sheep of the Bradley family. While the rest of the family built careers in professional football, Archer chose baseball. He's also the sibling who keeps everyone at arm's length, rarely participating in family gatherings and almost never answering calls or texts. Underneath that distance is a man carrying a lot of pain.
At the start of this book, Archer is dealing with the fallout of multiple betrayals. His on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend is now married to his brother, his father manipulated him into signing documents connected to an illegal gambling scheme, and the resulting scandal has landed him with a 40-game suspension. Needing to disappear for a while, Archer heads to a resort in the Bahamas where he unexpectedly meets Millie.
Millie is a travel blogger hoping to turn her passion project into a full-time career through a partnership opportunity with the resort. Their first meeting is hilarious when she forgets to make a dinner reservation and essentially invites herself to sit at Archer's table. What starts as a vacation fling quickly becomes something much more.
I loved the dynamic between Archer and Millie. Archer is completely anti-social media and thinks influencer culture is fake, while Millie's dream revolves around creating content and building an online presence. Their differences create plenty of tension, but also some really meaningful conversations and growth for both characters.
My favorite part of the book was watching Archer slowly open up. Millie gets to see sides of him that nobody else does, and through their relationship he begins to reevaluate not only his future but also his past. It took some time, but I loved seeing him realize that his relationship with his ex wasn't healthy or meant to last. Watching him come to terms with the fact that she ended up exactly where she was supposed to be was one of the most satisfying parts of his character arc.
The Bahamas setting was fun, the chemistry was great, and there was plenty of spice mixed in with an emotional and engaging story. I also enjoyed the appearances from the Vegas Heat guys and seeing familiar faces from previous books.
The ending was perfect, especially the surprise for Millie, and left me with a huge smile on my face. Archer's journey from isolated and angry to hopeful and open felt authentic and earned.
This was a fun, emotional, and swoony addition to the Bradley Family series, and one of my favorite books so far. I can't wait to see whose story we get next!

And Archer… getting to know him beyond the headlines and the family reputation was one of my favorite parts of the book. Still waters truly run deep with him. He’s spent years keeping himself closed off, letting only a tiny handful of people into his inner world—and almost every time he’s trusted someone, they’ve betrayed him. Watching him slowly let his guard down, only to be hit with yet another blow, absolutely broke my heart. Forgiveness doesn’t come easily to him, but with the help of the few people who genuinely care, he starts to realize that maybe he doesn’t have to go through life expecting the worst.
“With you, I’m reluctantly optimistic.”

Lisa Suzanne has done it again! Left Field was such an amazing read! She has completely knocked this one out of the park, and I can honestly say, I think this is the absolute best book in this series so far!
To say I have been eagerly counting down the days for Archer Bradley’s story would be a massive understatement… because let me tell you, this man has completely stolen my heart! He is the self-proclaimed black sheep who famously chose baseball over the family’s football legacy, but underneath that quiet, broody exterior is a man who has been collecting emotional damage like a competitive sport. Carrying the brutal sting of a massive family betrayal and a league suspension that took away the only thing he had left, he flees to the Bahamas to lay low and completely disappear. He is jaded, protective, and determined to stay isolated, that is, until… Millie Monroe, who completely flips his entire world upside down.
Millie is a sunshiny, vibrant travel blogger who has just landed a month-long resort partnership that could launch her dream career. Their very first night starts with a chaotic dinner mix-up that immediately sparks an intense connection. But their worlds instantly clash: Archer is a fiercely private VIP who demands to stay off social media, and Millie is required to document her entire stay for the world to see.
What makes this story an absolute standout is the profound depth layered beneath the intense, open-door spice. Watching Archer slowly peel back his protective layers and learn to trust again was incredibly moving. Millie challenges his cynical view of the world, while Archer coaxes the real, unfiltered woman out from behind her camera-ready smile. Their banter is effortless, their chemistry is on fire, and the growth they experience both individually and together feels so raw and earned.
I was so glad that Archer Bradley got his happily ever after! He deserved to finally be chosen first, without conditions or filters. Lisa Suzanne is one of my favorite authors, and I just love everything she writes. Lisa Suzanne has done it again! Left Field was such an amazing read! She has completely knocked this one out of the park, and I can honestly say, I think this is the absolute best book in this series so far!

Before I even started reading, I was excited that Archer was getting his own story. After watching Tatum and Ford's relationship unfold—and seeing Archer try to stop their wedding—I couldn't wait to dig deeper into his character and discover what made him so complex.
Archer Bradley has always been the outsider of his family, choosing baseball over football - to name one reason. After his father manipulated him into signing documents while his mother was dying, Archer became entangled in a mess that ultimately led to his suspension from baseball. I have been waiting for Archer Bradley’s story, and it was everything I hoped it would be. From the first chapter, I was completely hooked and found myself flying through the pages because I just had to know how everything would work out for him.
Archer has always felt a little different from the rest of his family, and after everything he’s been through, all I wanted was to see him finally get his happy ending. He’s carrying around so much hurt, self-doubt, and baggage, yet underneath it all is such a genuinely good man. Watching him slowly open up and let someone in was one of my favorite parts of the book.
Then there’s Millie. I absolutely loved her vibrant personality and how she challenged Archer in all the best ways. As a travel influencer chasing her dreams, she’s used to living life in the spotlight, while Archer is doing everything he can to avoid it. Their connection felt instant, but what I loved most was how their relationship grew beyond the attraction and became something deeper.
The Bahamas setting was the perfect backdrop for this story. Between the beach vibes, resort atmosphere, stolen moments, and undeniable chemistry, I felt completely transported. And speaking of chemistry…wow. The tension between Archer and Millie was off the charts. The spice was definitely there, but it never overshadowed the emotional side of their relationship.
What really stood out to me was how much heart this story had. Beneath the romance and steam was a beautiful story about trust, healing, and learning to be yourself with the right person. I loved watching Archer realize that not everyone was going to let him down, and seeing Millie discover that she didn’t have to hide behind the version of herself she showed the world.
I also loved the little found-family moments sprinkled throughout the story. Archer’s teammates brought some great support and humor, and it was nice seeing the people around him genuinely want the best for him.
By the end, I was smiling, swooning, and honestly a little sad to say goodbye to these characters. This was such a fun, flirty, emotional read that gave me all the vacation romance vibes while still packing an emotional punch.

Book 5 in the Bradley Legacy is here! Lisa Suzanne has once again written a wonderful story, amazing MCs, and romance that makes you blush and squeal. Left Field focuses on staying true to yourself, going after your dreams, and remembering your name doesn’t define you. I love how in each book it is evident that Lisa has taken time to really mold her characters. They are real to her, therefore easily relatable to readers.
Archer may be a Bradley, but his sport is baseball. While he is passionate about his career, he often feels like the odd man out, having to prove his worth over and over. He has so much weighing on him, it’s no surprise when his career somewhat implodes and he is suspended. Archer is a character that is deep and complex. He comes across confident, but he’s learned how to distract from the cracks in his life. When he goes on a vacation, he meets someone who sees him for him, not a Bradley, not a famous baseball player. He begins to feel safe around her and this allows him to let some masks fall and the real him to be seen.
Millie is building her career with the ultimate goal being a travel influencer. When she is invited to a resort to do just that, she is over the moon happy. While she is ready to work hard, have fun, and prove she can do this; she isn’t ready for the meeting of a handsome stranger that she immediately clicks with. What is supposed to be one night together quickly turns into spending time together every day and their connection growing deeper and deeper. Yet, Millie was hired to do a job and the pressure continues to build as her client wants more of Archer in her posts.
These two both learn how far you can go for someone you love and want to be with. Lisa does a wonderful job showing that there are struggles in a relationship, but if you are willing to work together you can overcome most of them. Both of our MCs learn lessons they weren’t prepared for but will help rebuild and strengthen their relationship. In true Lisa fashion also, the grand gesture gives you all the feels and I love that Millie is the one who takes the chance. This is probably my favorite book in this series!

I loved the dynamic between Archer and Millie. Their chemistry is immediate, but their relationship is anything but easy. Archer is carrying years of hurt and distrust, convinced that people only want him for his fame and what he can provide. Millie, on the other hand, is ambitious and constantly documenting her life online as she works toward building her brand. What Archer sees as attention-seeking is simply Millie chasing her dream, and that difference creates some fantastic tension throughout the story.
When they’re getting along, the sparks fly. When they’re fighting, the lack of communication is frustrating in the best way because both characters have understandable reasons for reacting the way they do. Their arguments felt realistic, rooted in insecurities and past wounds rather than manufactured drama.
The tropical setting was the perfect backdrop for their story, giving readers plenty of sunshine, excursions, and vacation vibes while still delivering plenty of emotional depth. Watching Archer slowly learn to trust again and Millie realize that not every moment needs to be shared online made their growth feel authentic and earned. This is also the smuttiest book I’ve read from Lisa!

Book 5 of the Bradley Series and it just might be my favourite one. I didn't think I would love the family Black sheep.
Archer Bradley really is broody and grumpy. He also thinks his an isolated Island and doesn't really let anyone in. We knew Tatum was the woman he loved and lost to his brother. Things just got worse for him, his father deceived him and then he is suspended for 40 games! Wow, I honestly didn't know Baseball players play that many game in one season. Now he needs to lay low for a month and recollect himself. What better place to be than the VIP Bahamas resort.
Millie Monroe Dreams of being a Travel Influencer from a Travel Blogger. Her hardwork has paid off and she has been in ited for a month long stay at an exclusive Bahamas Resort. This fantastic opportunity could lead her to a paid partnership.
Fate was heavy in getting these 2 together. Their chemistry was sizzling from the word go. I loved how carefree Millie was and her bubbly character really helped opening Archer up bit by bit. They were funny, sweet and hot together. They're both are totally opposite in every way but so similar in other ways. You will understand when you read it. Oh the spice 🥵, Lisa can writes amazing Spice and Archer and Millie have a lot. There really is no boundaries in where they ahem.... 👀.
He despises social media and that's her career. They have a lot of ups and downs and a lot of challenges throughout. I did dislike it when Archer has outbursts before thinking and walks away, but Millie is a gem and so understanding she doesn't hive up.
As their ONS turns into Vacancy fling is getting harder to not get hearts involved. Their time is running out too.
On top of it all Millie has a big decision to make, her future career or the love of her life.
Loved their fun adventures and I really felt like I was their because of the way Lisa has written it all.
This is very emotional, as Archer finds himself and learns to let go of all his pain.
So get ready for an amazing story and I loved that little crumbs Lisa gives regarding Liam.
Loved seeing the Bradleys all doing well and are happy. Archer finally manages to accept his family & found family too.

I listened to this one on audiobook and really enjoyed it. Their voices seemed to fit these characters well and they helped progress the story even when I was drowning in annoyance to how a character was acting out their bad decision making. With that being said...
Going into this, I didn't realize how much of a trigger Archer's character would be for me. I understand how ridiculous that sounds, but this man had me wanting to scream in frustration. It quickly, QUICKLY became clear why things fell apart between him and Tatum, and I'm even more like, "you go girl," since she dumped him and found someone better for her. This man wants to be put above all else, including a woman's career, like he drops logs of gold or something. Oh no! She's looking at her phone. She's doing her dang JOB.
And he can try to say over and over that how he's acting is because what his father did to him, but what he does to Millie in this book is EXACTLY what he did to Tatum and why their relationship failed. And him going on and on about how she's making her career about her "worth" when she was actually focused on making a living made me want to pull my hair out. He was such a judgmental a-hole for so much of this book that even by the end when he changed I still didn't like him.
I enjoyed Millie's character, even with her flaws. She's got a goal in mind and she's working toward it, even though she doesn't feel like it fits 100%. Couldn't get any closer to how actual life feels if you tried. Then she lets some dumb dude with a big ding dong woo her into throwing it all away. 🤣 Yes, her betrayal of trust annoyed the heck out of me, and yes, Archer did get better toward the end, but I feel like he should have had to grovel just as much as she did, and he didn't. Oh my god I devoured this book, I just couldn’t stop reading because I was so invested in Archer and Millie’s story✨ I do have to say, that I was a little worried about reading Archer because everything that happened in the previous book with Ford and Tatum, but also I was excited and intrigued because I knew he had a lot of baggage and fears thanks to his father and because he always felt like an outsider even and mostly with his family, so I was very eager to get to know him and understand him better and oh my god, I just love him 😭💚
He seems to be strong and to likes being alone, but in the inside he just want to be chosen, he’s so afraid of being used only because of who he is, the famous baseball player and billionaire member of the Bradley family, and it was even worse after he and Tatum broke up and all the things that happened in the previous book, that he almost lost Millie thinking she was right like everyone else, and I mean, he has his reasons and I just wanted to hug him and tell him I would chose him over and over again 🥹 that’s he’s worthy and lovable and kind and all the good things in the world 💚😩
And Millie, oh my girl, I love her, she was so determined to achieve her dreams, he wanted to be seen and loved and acknowledged and validated, and she was willing to work hard to make it happen, but then she met Archer, and her dreams started to evolve, and someway along the way she made a mistake and that mistake almost cost her Archer’s heart, but don’t get me wrong, I get her, because she was scared of losing herself and losing all the work she did, but gladly she was able to fix it and be with Archer and making new dreams and bucket lists 👀😮💨 (iykyk)
This is my new favorite book of the series and I just want to read it again, because oh my god!! Those two had me blushing and giggling because Archer had a dirty mouth, and so did Millie 🙂↔️😮💨💚
Now, can we please have Liam’s book already pretty please? Ma’am I’m confused and intrigued by the things said in the last chapter and the first one of his book, so I’m having theories but I need more please!!! 😩
I KNEW IT!!! I knew Archer Bradley was going to be my favorite because I knew he had a lot of things going on inside his head and we all just needed to get to know him 😩💚
