The plot advances

Many plot devices were completed here. There are a few that will be done the future volumes. The focus was almost entirely on Athos with Lira, Jayquest and Nightshadow having significant roles. It was entirely fun to read this and I’m looking forward to the next book.

Book 8 of Starquest.

Plots thicken -- and converge. Spoilers ahead for the earlier works.

An old rebel appears to aid the new generation. Athos, King of the Pirates, must juggle his position with his duties as the Vindicator -- and his role as one of the Secret Seven. The Syndicate of Space does indeed feature significantly and in its own role, which brings in Nightshadow's plot. And Lyra's.

It includes an urge to forgive, the old Pirate Code, a tailor robot, a sword that Athos can draw but not wield to use on living flesh, and more.
