Disclaimer: I didn't actually read the whole book (I stopped at 30%), which goes to show how it was severely lacking.
Dislikes: While I love me a strong main character who doesn't take crap and is upfront, Chloe just seem straight up rude most of the time. Yeah play hard to get make the boy work for it BUT don't be so rude as to dissuade the audience from even liking the main character.
Chloe was a complainer, plain and simple, I get being upset about moving, hating the cold, and thinking her new town is lame but, to do nothing but complain and not even try to make the most of it it's a bit too immature.
There was no background or plot setting, no build up and definitely not enough detail. All of a sudden, Chloe just starts dreaming of a wolf, and no explanation or good details about said dream from the author. Like um ok?
The relationship dynamics isn't consistent or showcased in the proper way.
Chloe has personal boundaries she doesn't want crossed but there is never a background or explanation as to why. She'll just freak out on Grey when he crosses a line with no explanation and then it's dropped like nothing happened.
All in all, things weren't explained and there wasn't enough detail to really understand and sympathize with the characters.
Likes: The two main characters, Chloe and Greyson, had some pretty funny lines and conversations at times. It seemed as if they were building up to a good relationship dynamic with awkward and witty comments.
There is a lot of room for growth in this book.
So if you don't mind the dislike list or if you just don't analyze the books you read in depth like that, then this is the book for you. However, if you read books and are very critical about them then maybe this isn't for you. On kindle it was $3.99, I think if it was $.99 it would've been more worth it. I will eventually finish the book, when I don't have anything els to read but, it's not on my priority list.
