🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was a fun, bingeable romantic suspense with some mild kink and TONS of “I shouldn’t, this was a mistake, no matter how much I want you” energy. That isn’t my favorite microtrope, but this was so fun to read that I didn’t really notice.

Chloe, Hollywood starlet, has a stalker that shows signs of escalating. Her former military father calls in a favor to Andrew Marks, a man he served with who now runs a security business, to keep her safe. Drew is torn between his respect for her father and his growing attraction to Chloe. Angst ensues.

There were a few plot inconsistencies that sometimes bumped me out of the story (like the safe house suddenly has a guest house? I thought it was a single building. Or he’s her father’s best friend? That seems an overstatement for someone she’s never even heard of) but honestly, it was fun and those were minor.

Another great read in the CEO's of kink series.
Mr Andrew (Drew) Marks is asked by his friend to protect his daughter from as stalker. One who had slowly been escalating with the promise that they would be together, finally at her films premier.
That was six weeks to find and neutralise the threat.
The only trouble with that is the instant attraction and chemistry between Drew and Chloe.
As her bodyguard, he had to draw a line, to keep her safe and keep his feelings in check.
Except, Chloe pushed the boundaries daily! She wanted Drew and knew he felt the same, but he refused to budge.
Talk about slow burn!! But, when finally it exploded, hidden away in a safe house, he allowed himself to let go! Hmmm hot and spicy!!
But the threat was closing in, and the next day another note appears with pictures of Drew and Chloe from the previous night.
There were constant threats wherever Drew took Chloe, and they were still no closer to finding out who he was.
But finding out they did, now they just had to catch him. And Chloe decides to use herself as bait!
I loved all the angst between Drew and Chloe, as he kept himself rigid in his belief to be her bodyguard and nothing else. He lived in the past, fear of it repeating itself, and him losing Chloe.
It was anti-climatic when finally everything fell into place, but her stalker has many contingencies in place.
Can Drew keep Chloe safe from her stalker and his many threats at the premier? hmmmm
A nice spicy, angsty, full on hate to love you story that has you captured right till the end.
I will just say I had thought I knew who her stalker was, and I Was Wrong!! LOL

Mister Marks by CJ Servo is an interesting addition to the CEOs of Kink collection. I was immediately drawn to Andrew Marks and the Shadow Protection Agency the "who is it" mystery added a layer of suspense that kept me guessing until the end! I  appreciated that the twists were genuinely surprising..... I dont like a predictable plot. I had some trouble connecting with the emotional parts of the story. The relationship between Andrew and Chloe felt rushed at first, it felt like they had a much longer history than they actually did. This then became a repetitive push and pull dynamic that felt a bit tiresome toward the middle. I feel like i don't really know Drew or Chloe besides surface level. I would have loved to see more into their inner lives to make the romance feel as good as the mystery element. It’s still a very good read that i recommend, it kept me flipping the page til the end.

This is a fun, quick read that I absolutely loved! Jenna, a single mom, and her daughter Kailey steal your heart, and the three alphas of the Meyers Pack bring warmth, protection, and instant devotion. One zoo trip changes everything, giving this story plenty of emotional payoff.

In Mistberry Cove, Anita goes undercover while juggling attraction to four Alphas, creating tension, hidden identities, laughs, and a swoon-worthy ending. Mason and Dylan are standout favorites, especially with the bonus chapter.

Mister Marks by CJ Servo adds suspense and mystery to the CEOs of Kink collection. Andrew Marks and the Shadow Protection Agency kept me guessing with genuinely surprising twists. While the romance felt a bit rushed at times, the tension and page-turning plot make it an exciting read from start to finish.

I will say I did enjoy the book and bodyguard trope is always so good! But Drew and Chloe were both very annoying at different times. She was annoying because she just couldn’t get through her head why it was dangerous and why they needed to wait, even when he told her exactly how he felt and how things would go after. and he was annoying because he would do/say things and then take them back. And they argued 70% of the book lol which some of them was great but some were just like blah. But I would say the ending was 10/10!!! Wasn’t expecting that at all!!!

Who doesn’t love a good bodyguard trope? This story follows Chloe, an actress, and Drew aka Mr. Marks, who ends up her bodyguard. Chloe’s father calls in a favor because of some very questionable fan mail, and the rest is history. These two have trouble keeping things professional from the moment they meet. Most of this book is one step forward, three steps back, but after finding out about some past trauma, it definitely makes sense. The stalker element added some mystery and thrill, so overall this is a good book for anyone wanting some plot with their spice.

Fast paced bodyguard forbidden romance with a side of unhinged stalked. Chloe is a rising starlet with a stalker problem. Simple “love” notes take a turn for the sinister and Chloe makes the call to her father (former military). He called in a favor and Drew Marks shows up to upend her life. Lots of twists and turns with few surprises. I loved the premise but Drew gets in his own way and some of the internal monologue feels repetitive. Loved the story tho.

This book was so much fun! I loved seeing a whole different take on CEO and this did not disappoint. Was hot, heavy and deep in the feels from the start. Chloe is my kind of stubborn AF girl and I cackled so much at the way she would wind up Drew. Only to then want to sob in agony at how he would blame himself.

I really enjoyed how hard and fast they both fell for each other and the ever present danger of the stalker. Did not put it down and will very much be reading more from this author.

Actress Chloe is being stalked, and her dad calls in a favor to get her a security guard. The security guard, Marks, has got too close to a client and doesn't want to repeat that mistake. This forced-proximity romance has a touch of yearning, mystery, spice, and excitement. This was my first book by CJ Servo, but I will look into checking out more in the future.

Very quick moving. The relationship between Mr. Marks and Chloe developed really fast. There was definitely that push/pull, but I feel like Chloe pushed a little too much at times. Overall it was a good read.

This was a different read than the rest of the series. It was an actress/Bodyguard story. I enjoyed the read but would have liked a little more at the end of their lives, like an epilogue or something.

I enjoyed this bodyguard/actress book. This wasn’t the typical CEO office style book. The characters were a nice change to what I usually read. I enjoyed the arguing and bickering between the two but sometimes the FMC could be a bit much for my liking.

This was a fun bodyguard romance. Chloe is a famous actress who finds out that she's being stalked by someone dangerous. As the warnings increase, her dad hires security for her. Drew Marks is the best in the business, and the only one her dad trusts to keep her safe.

Immediately, Drew knows he's in trouble, because he can't stop thinking about Chloe, and she's not unaffected by him either. As they try to stay ahead of the stalker, they also realize that fighting their attraction is futile.

This was a bit of a roller coaster. A push and pull between them, will they wont they.

Chloe is an actress, and she has a stalker thats escalating. Her father calls in a friend, ex military, now in security.
The chemistry between Chloe and Drew is instant and strong. The tug of war between them starts almost immediately. Drew is afraid to give in, as feelings could compromise his ability to protect Chloe.
All of this leads to explosive love, and a very quickly infuriated stalker.

I love Chloe and Drew. I enjoyed them together and their growth was fun to watch.

The Starlet and The Bodyguard

Mister Mark's is coming in hot. Delivering us a hot and spicy quick read that gives you just the right amount of plot, spice and twists to make your heart beat fast and hold you from beginning to end. This is the third book in a shared world where the CEOs have kinks and their lady's are there to play.

Chloe is our FMC. She is a rising actress just trying to live life and make it big. When a stalker appears to believe she is his, she does the only thing she can to survive. She hires a bodyguard. Enter Mr Mark's. He is the CEO of the company. He puts himself on the job to protect her. Everything comes down to what the stalkers end is and if Marks is good enough to stop it.

I thought I saw everything. I thought I knee what was going to happen. But nope. Not even close.

I loved the addition of Mister Marks in the CEO of Kinks world. Im excited to be introduced to the next CEO and see their fantasies played out.

Bodyguard to a rising starlet

This one is a bit different to the other stories so far. This one our kinky CEO runs a security company. He has been assigned to guard a young woman who has been living her dreams until a stalker emerged.

From creepy fan mail to indecent photos and on to a very specific threat at her next movie premiere. Can they discover who is behind the obsession before Chloe gets hurt?

There is a lot of undeniable attraction right from the get go. They fail spectacularly at keeping it professional. Andrew failed someone in the past and it definitely has made him question a lot. Now he can never form any attachments because he refuses for history to repeat itself.

Chloe will not be someone he can push away. This one is hot and intense. It's spicy and filled with danger.

If you want a quick and spicy will they or won't they romance this one is perfect. Some people you meet refuse to conform to the boxes you expect them to fit into. Sometimes they show you that vulnerability is not always a curse.

Great read!! Love the tension and all the push and pull, though Mr. Marks' indecisiveness was frustrating. The action and suspense was fantastic. And the spice!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
