Isacc is a charming and intriguing love story.
The concept of "living" machine is one that I have always been intrigued by, and find myself drawn to in both literature and films. The idea that a machine could have emotions. That an animate object could essentially be allive.
Loring has taken the concept and mapped out the beautiful progression of what (in my humble opinion) makes us alive. Not the blood in our bodies feeding our brain with oxygen or flooding our organs with nutrients, but that which us unexpalinable. The emotions that drive our needs and desires.
Do yourself a favor and get this story. It is a beautiful, heart-wrenching tale that shows love on many levels and addresses the question, "What really makes us whole?" Absolutely brilliant!!
