I’m the maid to the grumpiest silver fox billionaire in LA… And he has no idea I’m the woman he hooked up with last night.
I clean his mansion. Make his coffee. Pick up his suits. But to Dominic Wolfe, I barely exist.
The only time he sees me? Is when I’m not… me.
At a secret fight club. In a stupid blonde wig. Where he’s not a CEO— But in the ring. All testosterone and muscle.
And for one whole night… I’m his.
Then morning comes… And I’m back in my uniform. Invisible again.
Until he needs a fake girlfriend… And somehow, I get promoted.
Now I’m playing the role I’ve always dreamed of— Pretending his touch is real. That he actually wants me.
But I’m carrying a very real secret from that night.
So I keep asking myself— Do fairytales like mine ever come true?
His Accidental Maid is a full-length standalone, age gap, billionaire boss and the maid, fake engagement romance. It's full of forbidden heat and heart and, of course, a deliciously satisfying HEA.
How is Dominic going to struggle to place Mila not once, but twice from the same venue??? Even if she was wearing different makeup and wig/hairstyles? Her body type and face are still the same. He must be going blind in his advanced age. Not to mention she was sassy with him in all her "disguises," just like her everyday self. Also, for the CEO of a security company, how did he not recognize Mila's address after he dropped her off?
Mila was orphaned at 17 and has been working multiple jobs to make ends meet. Dominic is one of her employers and a CEO of a security company. He can't access his inheritance, which he needs as capital for his company to bid on a project, until he is married. Enter crazy contract marriage scheme.
While I appreciated the character development and plot development, there were some details that were presented earlier in the book that were later confused, contradicted, or misrepresented in later chapters.

To let off steam and stresses of the job CEO, Cole, uses a fight club. But his daily maid has just got herself a job there and has come to the attention of his nemesis. The wig disguises her. But Cole soon needs a favour and Chloe is his go to. How will it all turn out at the club, at home and in the boardroom? Good easy read.

I had such a fun time reading *His Accidental Maid* it’s one of those stories that feels effortless to get into and surprisingly hard to put down. The setup might sound light, but the emotional buildup and character dynamics give it way more depth than you’d expect going in.
Dominic really grew on me the more the story went on. At first, he’s very structured, almost rigid someone who clearly thrives on control and routine. You can feel that emotional distance he keeps from people, and it makes his gradual shift so satisfying. The little moments stand out the most like when he starts noticing Mila’s habits, or when his reactions soften without him even realizing it. It’s not a sudden transformation; it’s slow, subtle, and honestly kind of addictive to watch.
Mila is such a strong contrast to him, and that’s what makes their dynamic work so well. She’s not just “sunshine” energy she’s resilient, observant, and quietly confident in a way that sneaks up on you. Even when she’s in a vulnerable position, she doesn’t lose her sense of self, which makes her feel grounded and real. The way she challenges Dominic isn’t loud or confrontational it’s more in how she exists unapologetically, which naturally pushes him out of his comfort zone.
Their chemistry builds in a really satisfying slow-burn way. It’s in the everyday interactions shared spaces, small conversations, those slightly awkward but charged moments where neither of them fully says what they’re thinking. You can feel the tension underneath everything, especially as their emotional walls start to come down. When things finally do shift between them, it feels earned rather than rushed.
I also appreciated how the story leans into those softer, more domestic moments. There’s something about the routine of their lives intersecting that makes the romance feel more intimate. It’s not all dramatic highs it’s the quiet connection, the growing trust, and the way they start to rely on each other that really sticks with you.
Overall, it’s such an engaging, feel-good read with just enough emotional depth to keep it from feeling too light. If you love a slow-burn romance with strong character development and that “he falls first but doesn’t realize it” energy, this one absolutely delivers.
Mila has been working two jobs to make ends meet - one as a waitress at the Cockpit and one as a maid for Dominic, a wealthy CEO she has had a crush on since she took the job. Dominic is a security firm CEO who secretly fights at the underground Ring Room, tucked behind the Cockpit. One evening Mila, in her evening uniform of blonde wig and tons of make-up, has to unexpectedly work at the Ring Room, a place she did not even know existed. And she is shocked to see her day boss, Dominic, in the ring fighting. When Mila accidentally drops a drink into a rough customer's lap, Dominic notices the mishap and saves her from the customer. He does not recognize Mila with the blonde hair and pancake makeup. Dominic drags Mila to the locker room and ghen insists on driving her home. Once there, things get steamy and they have sex in the car. The next morning, though Dom asks about her hair color, he still has know clue Mila is the waitress he slept with the night before. And the plot moves on from there. This story has some great secondary characters; spice; fake engagement to get at Dom's inheritance; humorous dialogue; saucy talkback from strong, independent Mila; Dom slowly learning to appreciate and connect with Mila; dynamic, emotional ups and downs; and a chemistry between them with a slow burn.
The few issues I had: OK - Yes, Dom hired Mila so he wouldn't have to pay any attention to her and the tasks she does for him. And yet. How can Dom be a big-time successful security guy, and not notice Mila is both the waitress and his maid? How un-astute can you be? Especially in a field like security requiring alert-ness? There were also some inconsistencies across the plot. I was given a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are strictly my own.
Dominic Wolfe of Wolf Industries is an individual that is making his company the No. 1 security firm. He is driven and solely centered on that. Because he is so intense he needs to relieve some frustration and regularly boxes at the underground ring at a local bar. While he is in the ring another boxer manhandles a waitress and he goes to her rescue. Then at the end of the night rather than see her walk home late at night alone he drives her. One unbelievable attraction, one hungry kiss, one sexual experience later and Dom is having a hard time forgetting the experience. Who is she? Why has he not seen her before? The girl in the blond wig? The next day his maid shows up for her day job. Mila has been working for him for six months. He barely notices her. She cleanings, cooks, does laundry and errands and goes on to her next job. Dom has other things to think about right now - his inheritance? He needs to get married. He doesn’t date what is he going to do? Mila keeps popping up in his mind. She is feisty, sassy, smart mouth, independent, and gorgeous. She is his maid, bartender, ring girl, dancer. Could his attraction to her help? When Dom makes the offer to her what will she decide? Mila from the beginning was crushing on him from the beginning. Attraction is definitely there. But she also doesn’t want her heart hurt. What could possible go wrong? And who falls first? It is filled with deceit, backstabbing, “friends” that are questionable, surprises- big and small. But the feelings that aren’t expected are extreme sexual attraction, intimacy, pride, compassion, romance and love. It can get rough and nasty at times but love will prevail for forever love. Great fascinating interesting storyline. Mila was a dynamic woman. Loved her spirit and determination. Great read that you will enjoy!.

This is the first time I have read a story by Mia Mara and I have to say I was so enthralled by the story, captivated by the characters and loved the writing. I was very impressed by Mia Mara's story telling and the pacing of the book,it had the right amount of romance and Spice so didn't overwhelm me with too much too soon. Dominic and Mila's chemistry was electric...Mila has crushed on him ever since she became his maid. Mila is Dominic's maid and he never notices her half of the time,he is just grumpy and very in control of everything that surrounds him. Dominic owns a security company and at night he bare knuckle fights at a secret ring.its his way to let off steam and unwind...He is approaching 50 years old and is being pressured to marry in order to recieve his inheritance...and he NEEDS that money. Mila also has another job at night she waitresses at a bar and discovers Dominic's nightly activities at the fight ring, when she is appointed to serve drinks there one night. Twice in this book Dom never recognises Mila she wears a wig while waitressing, she does attract his attention, but he doesn't know That she is his maid. Mila is a strong and sassy woman I liked that she stands up to him and won't put up with his grumpiness..Dominic well he changes throughout the book, from being very rigid to softening and relaxing as Mila's presence rubs off on him..I liked the fact they got to know one another over time, the anticipation of him recognising her finally was exciting. The banter between them is so delicious I loved it. This will not be the last time that I read a story by Mia Mara,as I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Fabulous 5 Stars.
I enjoyed His Accidental Maid: A Silver Fox Fake Engagement Romance by Mia Mara — it was a quick, entertaining read that kept me engaged from start to finish. The fake engagement/contract marriage setup was fun, and I liked seeing both the character growth and the relationship development between Mila and Dominic unfold. Mila’s backstory especially added depth; after being orphaned at seventeen, she’s spent years juggling multiple jobs just to survive, which made her easy to root for.
Dominic, a CEO of a security company, needs to marry in order to access his inheritance and secure funding for an important business bid, which leads to the wild arrangement between them. It’s a classic romance trope, but done in a way that kept the story moving.
That said, I had to laugh at how oblivious Dominic was. How does he fail to recognize Mila not once, but twice, when she’s coming from the same venue just with different wigs, makeup, or hairstyles? Her face, body type, and signature sass never changed. For a so-called security expert, he seemed surprisingly unobservant — and somehow he also didn’t recognize her address after dropping her off there. For a “silver fox,” he might need his eyesight checked.
My main criticism is that while the story had strong potential, some details introduced earlier in the book were later confused, contradicted, or misrepresented in later chapters, which pulled me out of the story at times. Still, if you enjoy fake engagement romances with chemistry, banter, and a fast-paced plot, this one is worth picking up.
Dominic hires Mila to be his daytime housekeeper, looking after the house, making his meals & doing errands. He’s a super busy businessman so he doesn’t pay any attention to her nor is he very observant of her looks. Mila has a crush on him but doesn’t reveal her secret to anyone, including him. She keeps it professional & doesn’t cross the line. Her second job is at The Ring on nights, where she’s a bartender & is a waitress also. They meet again there but he doesn’t recognize her as she’s wearing a blond wig, wearing skimpier clothes & wearing lots of makeup. Eventually he realizes the mystery woman who dwells in head, happens to be the same woman that is his housekeeper.
He wants to bid on a business deal but he needs his inheritance money which his dad is holding on to. Dad will release it to him once he’s married. Dom dreams up a proposal to convince his dad that Mila & he are serious & plan to get married. He sees it as a fake marriage to which she agrees to help him out. Their true feelings towards each other deepens until dad finds out he was played for a fool. Dom’s & Mila’s fake engagement ends up blowing up in their faces & what a mess it is!
A really good book to read. The true friends step forward to save this relationship, provided they look past their stubbornness & their true feelings are communicated.

I liked this book, it wasn't too bad. Sure, there were bits that were not perfect, but for the most part, it was good. Dom, being the most oblivious guy ever, didn't recognize her as his maid, as the waitress that he slept with, or as the woman he ran into later. Seriously...! Dude, you need to pay more attention. If that's how observant he is (not), then I shudder to think how well he does in the security field.
The age thing in this book doesn't really work for me. The dude is about 50 years old, and he has to get married and still has to kiss-ass to get his father to release an inheritance? At this point in his life, especially if he has such a successful business, he would have just made do without it, and cut out his toxic father. Then there is his father. How stupid is this guy? Rafe is literally his son's biggest rival, and he just goes with whatever the guy says? Same with Mila, considering Brynn is always all over him. Then, suddenly coming to his senses at the end just feels a bit strange.
I get being angry, but the way he just blew up everything when he found out she was pregnant was too much over the top. That didn't really feel like a reaction he would have, and it was strange. Sure, be angry, but to completely blow up the whole relationship and everything else over it is a bit much. She has to come to terms with the whole thing, too.

His Accidental Maid is a wonderful silver fox Contemporary romance and I loved the storyline of MFC Mila who works as a maid for billionaire MMC Dominic Wolfe while holding down a second job at night with the Cockpit Sports bar. Its the night she gets roped into working late that she finds out there is a secret fight club in the back of the bar and her day boss fights in it! He doesn’t recognize her in the blond wig she is forced to wear at the club, but then he doesn’t notice her when she is at his home during the day without a wig. Unfortunately when she notices its him in the ring a drink gets accidentally dumped into someone’s lap. Dominic rescues her from backlash and decides she is coming with him, still not realizing who she is. I knew this story was going to be a wild and crazy one and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the writing, characters, humor, saucy Mila, and grumpy Dominic who really needed a good woman in his life, and just think she was under his nose the whole time. There were surprises, emotion, lots of passion, oh, and a fake relationship about to work its way into the mix! A very entertaining read and now my favorite of the author’s.

His Accidental Maid by Mia Mara follows a marriage-of-convenience setup with an age-gap dynamic and a surprise pregnancy, but the execution quickly unravels. Mila is initially introduced as a hardworking, sassy heroine with a crush on her much older boss, yet once the plot kicks in, her personality shifts so drastically that she feels like an entirely different character, leaning into mean-girl tendencies and abandoning the one genuine relationship she had. The emotional tension falls flat because her choices lack consistency, especially surrounding the pregnancy, which is hinted at in a vague, almost careless way rather than meaningfully addressed. Dominic, meanwhile, is difficult to take seriously as a seasoned CEO; his obliviousness to his own employee and the circumstances around their relationship makes the romance feel implausible rather than compelling. Between the contradictory character behavior and the weak chemistry, the story struggles to maintain a believable emotional core.
What started out as an arrangement quickly became much more. Mila lost her parents when she was in high school. That lose shattered all her dreams. Now she's on her own, working several jobs to make ends meet.
Dominic runs a security agency that he built from the ground up. He is on of the top in the business and very well off. He pays no attention to Mila, who he has hired as his maid. That is until she starts pushing back at his unrealistic expectations and bad attitude. Now she is in his life in all the ways they never expected.
The backstory of Mila's life brings a lot to her character, and why she is so insecure in opening up to Dominic about things. The bad guy characters of Rafe and Brynn added a level of drama that played well in the storyline. I really enjoyed the way that love played a role in mending relationships, and not just Mila and Dominic's.

I really enjoyed "His Accidental Maid" by Mia Mara—it was such an easy, addictive read.
What pulled me in most was the contrast between the heroine’s “invisible maid” life and her bold, secret identity. That whole dynamic made the story feel more fun and a bit different from the usual billionaire romance. And Dominic? Total classic silver fox—grumpy, intense, and hard not to fall for once his walls start to crack.
The chemistry was so good, especially once the fake engagement kicks in. I loved that mix of tension, longing, and “is this still pretend?” energy—it kept me hooked the whole time.
If you’re in the mood for something steamy, emotional, and with a satisfying happily-ever-after, this one really hits the spot.

His Accidental Maid is an excellent addition to the Unintentionally Yours series. This fake engagement, workplace, heart-felt emotional romance is well written with richly layered characters that I couldn’t put it down. I loved Mila and Dominic. They make a dynamic couple but more so they are individuals who are determined, focused, and each with personal qualities that make them both standout in their own unique way. There is an undeniable chemistry between the two that makes their journey a very engaging read. I also love the friendship of Mila and Lainey. Their friendship, in addition to the atmosphere of their work, made this story entertaining and full of page turning moments. His Accidental Maid is recommended and a worthy read.

Billionaire Boss / Age Gap / Fake Engagement / HEA
A Silver Fox Fake Engagement Romance - Dominic Wolfe runs a most prestigious security firm, and he’s hoping tosecure his biggest client ever. He is fifty years old and wants his father to release his inheritance, but is denied unless he marries. Mila Rojas works three jobs to make ends meet, one of which is housekeeper to Dominic Wolfe. He never pays any attention to her unless his morning coffee isn’t ready on time. She also works as a bartender at a club where bare-handed fights take place. Who happens to be a regular fighter there … of course it’s Dominic, only he doesn’t recognize her with the costumes they wear. This was so much fun … I devoured it in one day.
Mila is Dom's maid, but she runs into him at her other job when things go sideways. They share an amazing night, but he doesn't recognize her as his maid. She starts getting spicy towards him at work because he didn't know it was her that night. Dom can't stop thinking about that woman but then he runs into someone and he gets confused because he is drawn towards her too. Turns out its Mila again and he still didn't have a clue who she is. Its not long before everything becomes clear and he knows he wants Mila. Will she give him a chance?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.
Milan, a young woman on her own due to the death of both her parents when she was nineteen, works three jobs just to make Me ends meet. Her main job is working for Dominic Wolfe as a housekeeper/cook. One night at her waitress job at a barely legal boxing club, there is an altercation with an angry customer after she spilled a drink on him. A tall, dark man intervenes, but Mila realizes the helpful man doesn't recognize her because of this job she wears a wig and heavy make-up. Later, after Mila left the building, Dominic offers her a ride. One thing leads to another, and they have sex in his car. Mila runs into her apartment with Dominic still not realizing who she is. Dominic eventually recognizes her and then the journey begins.
you mean to tell me dom saw mila on 3 separate occasions dressed differently and didn’t connect the dots that it’s the same person? mila literally worked AT HIS HOUSE where he saw her every day and couldn’t figure out who she was just because she wore more makeup than normal and had on a cheap wig? dominic literally thought he met 3 separate women and asked her if he’d known her from somewhere. wtf type of brain dead type of shit is that LMAO. i mean i guess i can sort of understand when she was wearing a wig, but when he saw her again after that? just in full glam vs how she dresses when she’s working as his housekeeper, he still didn’t realize? i feel like miss girl should’ve been way more upset about that. 2/5⭐️ justice for mila
I found Dominic's underground secret fascinating—the trash talking and fast jabs were thrilling. It was comical how he didn't recognize his own employee as he and Mila came crashing face-to-face. Mila is sassy and doesn't hold back, and I think Dom secretly likes it. They fight like they are one step away from ripping each other's clothes off. The flirty sarcastic banter, push-and-pull chemistry, and sizzling hot encounters made this book impossible to put down! I also loved Andrew and hope we can see more of that wild playboy in the future. Another amazing book by Mia Mara!

I have to admit I wanted to shout at Dominic. For a smart man he need a good shake. How could he not know Mila even with a wig. He loves control and routine. Mila is another character that took me a while to grow to understand. She is sunshine to his grumpiness and control. Slowly the chemistry between them grows and it is hot. Oh trust me Dominic walls start to come down but with a misunderstanding he nearly loses the only woman who sees him and shows him what life can be. Strong characters, slow burn, emotions and chemistry.

This book delivers exactly what Mia's readers come for: a high-heat, high-heart romance built on irresistible tropes — age gap, billionaire boss, secret identities, and a fake engagement that spirals deliciously out of control. The story is unapologetically indulgent, leaning into fantasy while grounding the characters with enough vulnerability to make the emotional beats land.
If you enjoy romances that feel like a guilty pleasure in the best possible way, this book hits that spot. It leans into fantasy very well. Dom and Mila are archetypes for this type of novel.

This could have been an ok book but what I could not get past - well, I guess I did because I finished the book!
1. This dud is 50, and a boxer and super tall - but somehow gets over to the passenger seat to have sex in an Aston Martin? Um, no. AND "pulled the lever" the lower the seat. LOL - no fancy car still has a lever.
2. She has pregnancy symptoms literally 2 days after the car sex. IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY.
3. Needed an editor. Many odd spacings, periods out of nowhere and lower case at the start of a sentence.
4. She kept going back to this Cockpit bar - it just seemed so odd. And let the mean girl befriend her.
Great idea for a book. Mila works two jobs and meets her boss at the second one. He doesn’t recognize her initially. He hatches a plan with her to get his inheritance. They fall for one another. Mila was a great character. Dom needed a little more depth. There were a few inconsistencies in the story that I hope are caught before publication. The writing was not at the five star level I expect from Mia Mara. Still an enjoyable read.

'And for one whole night… I’m his. Then morning comes… And I’m back in my uniform. Invisible again. But I’m carrying a very real secret from that night. So I keep asking myself— Do fairytales like mine ever come true?'
The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Funny, sassy and sexy 🌶️🔥♥️. Mila is chameleon to Dom. It is funny how he can’t put it together how he knows her or if he has met her before. They both have lost loved ones in their past which has formed who they are in the present. This book has some sad moments in it but it is a really good love story. I really enjoyed reading this book.

was so captivated by this book. I wasn’t expecting to get so invested in these characters but Dominic is one of those characters that keeps drawing you in and with every little change you realize how much more you like him. Mila who has dual personas for a portion of the book is also so amazing. As their plan blows up so do their true feelings. This is an engaging read that had me invested from start to finish.

I enjoyed this book. The story was fun and I liked Mila a whole lot. My feelings about Dominic were a bit more complex, let's say what I felt for him was "like adjacent". While it seems across as cute in the blurb, it honestly irked me that such a successful man couldn't recognize his own maid. That seemed very disrespectful and very heavy in the jerk direction. Still, if you put that aside, or it just isn't an issue for you, this was a good read.
Dom is a millionaire. He owns a security company. He loves to box bare handed. One night he has sex with a waitress, she happens to be his maid but did not recognize her. He doesn’t ever really look at her. One day he gives her a proposition, will she be his pretend fiancé and marry him so he can get his inheritance. She agrees and there is so much action, it will have your head spinning.
This Accidental story is the best one that I have read until now, and I have a few under my belt already. This one is fun to read while also being dramatic, theatrical in its scenes, violent to the top, with a few clear villains and ... and .... and just so much more and combined with good storytelling and storyline it makes one fine story. A story very worthy of the fabulous rare five stars I am giving it here.
