Moni lapsuuden ja nuoruuden suosikki on kestänyt yllättävän hyvin aikaa, mutta William Katz ei taida olla yksi niistä. Tämä melkein 40 vuotta vanha kirja oli kuitenkin aika kiinnostava esimerkki hiljattain tosi suositusta nainen ikkunassa -troopista. Muuten Pimeän painajaisen maailma ja henkilöhahmot tuntuivat nykylukijasta aika tunkkaisilta.

Ho trovato questo giallo veramente comico. La storia è carina ed incuriosisce molto, devo dire che mi aspettavo un finale a "fiori d'arancio", ma anche la soluzione dell'autore è intrigante.
Durante la maggior parte della storia non ho pensato a come potesse evolvere l'opera di vendetta dei protagonisti perchè ero troppo concentrata sulle differenze di vedere il mondo di Mark e Anne, dove lui vedeva una minaccia, lei una speranza, dove lui vedeva una trappola, lei un'occasione .... quanto è vero che uomini e donne hanno due modi completamente diversi di vedere lo stesso pezzettino di mondo!!

En bref, j'ai ramé de la première à la dernière page, heureusement le roman est assez court pour que ça ne dure pas trop longtemps ... Les personnages sont insipides, l'intrigue connue depuis le départ et le dénouement à peine étonnant. Reste les idées qui étaient sympathiques et à mon gout mais qui n'auront pas fait décoller mon intérêt pour ce roman... Dommage
