Triztan by Alyson Raynes
I beta read this book for the author for an honest review.
Raise your hand if you read The Fixer Series? MEEE TOO!! Who fell in love with Mr. Tall Dark Russian Hottie with a player mentality??? MEEEE TOO!! Who couldn’t WAIT to read this book and kept yelling at Alyson to “get it out already??” MEEE TOOO!!!! Hrm, I am guessing we are best friend then?? LOL

I met and fell in total love with Tristan in Dylan’s books. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Dylan BUT something about the mysterious Russian got me raising an eye brow. Now you don’t necessarily need to READ Dylan’s books but it might help you understand stuff a bit better if you do. Ok so in this book we get Tristan’s back story with his High School hottie Anya….UHM WOWZERS can you believe what his 18th birthday pressie was??? Oh you don’t know *Snickers* you better read it then!! Anya wants more but come one…Tristan is into playing the field. He ends up causing her a lot of tears and heartache but the big shocker comes when he goes home to visit…..WOW…BOMB + Dropped = WTF moment!!
Tristan does seem to grow up a bit but when he meets Steph aka Sparkles EVERYTHING changes for him and for the better. He finally realizes true love which scared the CRAP outta him. I mean the man is a dedicated and proud Man-Whore soooo the thought of getting married…YIKES!!! I love that Steph is so strong but can be so vulnerable with Tristan. They have a hawt chemistry!! Tristan’s makes sure that Steph gets ALLLLLL of her dreams to come true!! *fans self*
The end of the book I voice messaged Alyson and may have screamed a lot of not nice things. I may have even threatened her bodily harm ANNND I may have told her we are no longer Besties!! LOL Are you interested in WHY??? Well then I think you need to buy the dang book already!!!

Triztan AKA Tristan is one dirty russian bad boy!
He moves to America to have a better education.
Leaving that one person behind.
That'll never be forgotten but not enough to change his ways for. Change his life for.
In more ways than one.
Slutting it up with his man whore ways, swinging either way is an experience that he's always wanted. To not settle down until he's all puckered out.
As the years go by, the experience gets dull, boring. Looking for something new on a whim he gets introduced to his buddies girl sister.
They hit it off. All is well until an offer comes thru causing him a trip back home.
When his old life and new life collides all is changed.
Hang on tight cause this'll be one erotic bump & grind ride!
I will tell you this has a learning experience of a story line.
Never take life for granted. I cried. I was completely torn when love was tragically destroyed.
I was graciously gifted a copy for an honest review.

TRIZTAN (Russian Roulette #1) by Alyson Raynes

OH, SO GOOD!

When I imagine Tristan Petrovsky and the Russian Roulette series, my mind automatically takes me to Dolph Lundgren playing Ivan Drago in Rocky 4, "I must break you!" I had the hots for Dolph back then because of his mysteriousness and sexier than sin bod and that's exactly how I feel about Tristan. He's mysterious, he's sexy as hell, and he likes to fuck... a lot. There is so much going on in this book besides the fact that our lead male character is a manwhore. There's suspense, loss, hilarity, and so much turmoil. this spin off from The Fixer series will have you reeling for days.

Tristan or Triztan, however you want to spell it is so complex. He's (in a sense) like Michael Corleone from the Godfather. He tries so hard to make a life for himself outside the family business, but no matter how hard he tries... "They pulled him back in!" Tristan is a very level headed guy. He takes what he wants and has no regrets. Through his adolescent years of life in Russia, to the college life at school in Colorado he never lost who he was or where he came from. Through his loss and the distance between him and his old life, he never wavered. He stole my heart and he'll steal yours too. Just give him the time of day and maybe a piece of ass and you're in!

So, the supporting character cast is enormous in this book. I'll start with Anya. She's perfect. I loved her from the very beginning. She's like Tristan in may ways. Must be that Russian mentality! She gave Tristan everything she had and although at times that may have not been enough, she's good with whatever decisions he's made. Onto Stephanie... Well, she was a breath of fresh air. She's comical, beautiful, and smart. I honestly thought she was just right for Tristan. She's a third grade teacher and if I'm not mistaken, she taught Tristan a few things also... and not classroom stuff! Damn that girl was freaky! So, the next character on my list is Dylan. He's a great friend! The best actually. He befriends Tristan in college and the rest is history from there for these two.

Ya know, after reading The Fixer series with Dylan and Tristan, I wasn't sure where Tristan's story was going to pick up. Before, During, or after... well, it seems to play right along side The Fixer series. How cool is that?!? A lot before it and a little during it. Wow, who knew while reading The Fixer series that there was another story unfolding there.

To wrap this up... The storyline is excellent. It keeps you glued to it's pages. Tristan is one of those books where you keep saying to yourself "One more chapter" and 4 chapters later at 1AM you'll finally put it down so you can get some sleep. The pacing is superior. The dialogue flows and feels natural. The highs and lows are plentiful and the climax is absolutely breathtaking. It's 200 (Kindle version) pages long and for this reader... amazing!

I received an ARC from Alyson for an honest review (thanks chica!)

NO FREAKIN WAY THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN

WOW I knew I wanted Triztan's story since meeting him in the Fixer series but I didn't expect it to turn out the way it did. We follow Triztan from childhood to the present and his life has never been dull. He has suffered a lot of heartache and although he does get an HEA I was just so shocked at how that came together. I really didn't expect that , obviously I just finished the book and I am still trying to process that ending. WOW !! Such a fan of the male POV and then at one point we start getting Stephanie and Triztan's POV.

No doubt Triztan is a bad boy , Russian accent , Russian mob , great libido !! There is so much more to him than that. I was shocked by his capacity to love and be genuine. As a teen he changed from the icky kid to the one all the girls wanted , this worked well for him since he loved female attention !! His fave was his sisters BFF Anya. Their interactions were steamy and fun. It was a special kind of love , a strong bond but not strong enough to survive when Triztan chose to go away for school. Now in the states Triztan can start all over making a name for himself !! It is here that we meet Dylan and their journey begins. As Triztan lives his life in the states Anya is back in Russia keeping something from Triztan and for 4 years anyone who know stayed quiet. Home for a visit and a job meeting Triztan is faced with the truth Anya has kept from him. How will this play out ?? This is one big hurdle to get over and it certainly isn't the only one !! Thanks to Brooke , Triztan meets Stephanie and they are electric. They are very similar and have such a great time together. The wear and tear of Triztan's very secretive work and his absence for days at a time sends doubts crashing around Stephanie. Poor Stephanie she is always at the wrong place at the wrong time. UUGGHHHH trying not to spoil , not easy !! Just as I got comfy and ready for a nice HEA we are thrown a major curveball , there is a lesson learned and as devastating as it is in the end it makes sense. But darn why did you have to do that.....NOT VERY NICE :(

Triztan is quite the manwhore. Never settling down and never opening his heart to a woman. Well until he connects with Anya. He doesn't realize the depth of his feelings for her until he is going off to college and leaves her behind. That moment when they say goodbye is the first glimpse of vulnerability that he shows. My heart broke for Anya knowing that she is deeply in love with this man.

He arrives at college and meets Dylan and they quickly grow close. He spends much time with Dylan's family and they become his surrogate family with him being so far away from home. Triztan and Dylan get involved with something complicated and he decides a trip home is in order and it's time that he joins the family business now that he has graduated. Nope not the kind of business most would be joining. We're talking Russian mafia and his job is an assassin. The decision to join is cemented when he reconnects with Anya and finds out that he has a daughter. This is when I thought they would get together, but not so much. Anya has hooked up with a guy and she believes that Triztan isn't ready to settle down even now. I wanted to give her a shake and tell her to jump on the bandwagon.

He goes home alone secure that he will be part of his daughter's life and that they are protected. Then comes Stephanie. She is the sister of Dylan's girlfriend and there is instant chemistry between them. He decides that she is reason enough to settle down. Then tragedy hits and everything changes for him.

You can't help but fall for Triztan because he is so charismatic and funny through being completely obnoxious. His confidence easily comes off as an inflated ego. Then there are those moments where he is vulnerable. He is sexy as hell though. I really enjoyed his story.

I give Triztan 4 hearts!

If you have read The Fixer Series by Alyson Raynes then you have been introduced to Triztan already. Triztan is Dylan’s best friend and partner and I knew from the first time I met him I needed his story…and have been patiently waiting for it! Alyson did not disappoint! I love Triztan, shamelessly so. Yes he is a man whore but at the same time he knows that nothing is more important than family and loyalty.

Triztan has always been enamored with Anya…his older sister’s friend…and finally gets his chance. As much as he loves her he wants more from his life than following his father’s footsteps right into the mob. He decides to leave Russia to attend school in America so he can get a good education and never look back.

Enter in Dylan…Triztan and he are roommates in college and become best friends. As they have their share of fun times and women over the years Triztan becomes a solid part of Dylan’s family. When Dylan is given a job opportunity by a shady official Triztan knows he can’t let him do it alone and when the same person approaches him about his connections with the Russian Mafia what choice does Triztan have but to make sure his best friend stays safe by going back to Russia and reconnecting with the family business. Little does he know there is a HUGE surprise waiting for him there.

Countless women and years later our little man whore finally meets Stephanie who drastically changes his world. He has met his match in more ways than one but does someone who has done and still does awful things really deserve happily ever after.

This book is filled to the brim with hot sex scenes, secrets, betrayal, and a whole lot of love. A definite one-click must! It took me days to write my review because the ending…OMG!

No worries…it’s a happily ever after…just not the one you thought!!! Go one-click this baby <3

I was given a copy of this book by Stephanie's Book Reports in exchange for an honest review.

4 stars for Triztan by Alyson Raynes. This is the first book in The Russian Roulette series, and it is a really good read.

How to describe Tristan Petrovsky? He is the ultimate man whore. After losing his mother at a young age, he vows to never get close enough to let a woman hurt him ever again. I swear he changes sexual partners like you and I change our pants!

Tristan leaves his home country of Russia to try and make a better life for himself. Four years later, he returns to discover he has a four year old daughter, Annicah. He falls in love with her at first sight and begs her mother to bring her to America, so they can raise her together. Her mother refuses, and Tristan returns to America and begins a long distance relationship with his daughter only visiting her once a year. For a while, he continues his man whore ways, but that all changes when he meets Stephanie Stone. The two share a strong sexual attraction that ultimately leads to love. Tragedy strikes leaving Tristan once again devastated. Will he revert to his man whore ways, or has Stephanie's love changed him forever?

This book is full of hot and steamy sex, and the story line is excellent. Towards the end of the book, there is a huge twist that will leave you shaking your head and asking "What the hell just happened?" Alyson Raynes is a very talented author, and I look forward to reading more from her in the future!

4.5 fangs..

I loved Tristan from page 1, even his man-whore ways. He wasn't born into the Russian Mob, but circumstances in Russia changed where his father went into the Mob to better his family. Tristan wanted to have nothing to do with that life and decided to go to America to better his education so that he would never have to depend on the life he didn't want. He finds himself enamored with one of his sister's friends, but he won't call it love. He knows that he cannot stay in Russia and Anya will not leave Russia.
College is fun for Tristan. His college roommate is just as fast and loose as he is and they make conquests. He's never been a multiple date man, no strings attached and all, until Stephanie. He still won't use the "L" word, but she is changing him from his boyish ways. His friend Dylan talks him into getting into some shady business with the Governor that causes Tristan to contact his Russian roots. He knows that if he does this his life will never be his own, but he can't leave Dylan driving blind into a life he doesn't understand. His trip back to Russia to re-establish Russian contacts changes his life in more ways than he was had prepared for. Tristan only has limited time to not only soak all this in but decide what he's going to do.

If you've had the chance to read Alyson's Fixer series you've already been introduced to Tristan, who is Dylan's best friend. If you haven't, no worries you still need to take a look at this latest release from Alyson Raynes.

Tristan Petrovsky, just thinking his name gives you delicious shivers doesn't it? Tristan is one hella delicious Russian bad boy. He loves the ladies and takes what he wants when he was talking it. But sometimes life doesn't take you where you'd think.

Alyson did an amazing job giving us Tristan's story. For me he was a bit of a wild card in the Fixer series and I wanted....no...needed to know more about him. What I I imagined never even came close to what Alyson gave us. This book was filled with eloquent wording that left you needing more. Don't even get me started on the sex fiend that is Tristan, just know yo u may need more than. one pair of panties. Then there were times when it was too much but you couldn't help but read on. It was interesting watching Tristan grow through this story and see his life unfold. Just when Alyson has finished weaving her spell of entanglements, she ruins me.

Alyson brought out so many emotions and situations in Tristan that I couldn't begin telling you about half of them. He's a sexy, cocky Russian that you can't help but love. I cat wait to see what else unfolds through this series.

Triztan has left Russia for the States to get a better education and life for himself. He is enjoying his new freedom at college. And the girls, Tristan is not short on having his fill of any girl that he wants.

When Tristan returns to Russia 4 years later, he is met with a little surprise. But why did no one tell him? What is he suppose to do now? He knows he will have to continue to better himself so that he can provide for his family.

Tristan meets Stephanie and everything changes. She is light in his darkness. She is exactly what he needs to do better. But when he is dragged back into the life he left in Russia, he does what he knows he has to do for his family and friends.

Tristan is good at keeping secrets and lies. When those start to destroy his relationship with Stephanie, he will fight to keep her. Then out of now where there is a twist that will hit you like a major punch in the gut; leaving you with what the hell just happened?

This is an amazing start to this new series. I loved Tristan. I am looking forward to see what Author Allyson Raynes has for us.

Title: Triztan
Author: Alyson Raynes
Genre: Romance
Format: Ebook
Pages: 200
Rating: 4
Heat: 5

Thoughts: Wow, this was quite the ride! For the most part this story is told from Triztan's POV, which isn't something you see often. There were a few chapters from the POV of the leading woman in his life but there weren't many of those either. At times I really didn't like Triztan, and other times I just loved him more! After his mother died when he was teenager so he put up walls and encased himself in the armor of sarcasm and indifference to protect himself from ever feeling the pain of loss again. Triztan is a lover of woman and sex but is strongly against relationships. It was amusing at times when he would be in that "forbidden" relationship but avoid admitting it as such.
The only issue I had was during some of the conversations they were constantly saying each other's name. It didn't flow and I don't know of anyone who talks like that. Otherwise it was a great story and I plan on reading more of this series!

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 Sizzling Stars!!

I knew I loved Tristan (my favorite man-whore) from the first time I laid eyes on him while reading the Fixer Series. He's cocky, sexy, mouthy and gorgeously hot!
Alyson writes a male POV really well. There were times I'd get so engrossed in his story that I almost forgot a female author had written it. Well done!
Tristan's backstory is full of heartache, mistakes and secrets. He moves to the U.S. to start a new life for himself and his best friend Dylan presents him with a job opportunity, which is in the same business his father runs and although he does want to follow in his dad's footsteps, he takes a chance. After meeting Brooke's sister, Stephanie, Tristan begins to question his man-whorish ways.
There are plenty of smokin' hot scenes in this book!! Lots of twists and turns, secrets, deception and lots of sex!
After reading Triztan, I love him even more. Not all cocky players turn out to be jerks :)

Triztan is a Russian immigrant, who only thinks about Hockey and having a good time with the women, for one night that is. Triztan swears he will never date a woman, he loves them to bits but for that one night till he meets Stephanie that is.

Stephanie is a teacher who has lived a pretty vanilla life till she sees Triztan. He literally turns her life around. What they both swore they wouldn't do happens. They fall in love, Triztan finally meets the woman that changes his life. But tragedy strikes and Triztan is left a shattered man.

Only his daughter and the first love of his life will be able to console him.. Will Anya finally decide to move to the States with Triztan's daughter? They may be his only salvation.

This is a very true to life story, that shows us the reality of life.. Sometimes you have to lose something to gain another.

This book is for mature readers due to it's sexual content..

I was gifted this book for an honest review.

I loved Triztan!! He is one hot guy!!! He's a player in more ways than one!! He loves women and sometimes not just one!!!!

Without giving too much away, he has past baggage (ex love and daughter and stuff) and falls in love with Stephanie... There love for each other is heartwarming... I definitely had my heart in my stomach at times leaving me breathless in more ways than on!!! And I did cry too!!!

I am definitely going to invest in Alysons first series which introduces Triztan The Fixer Trilogy!!! And I can't wait for the next two books in the Russian Roulette series with Alexi and Ivan...

Tristan is trying to make his life in the US, and stay out of whatever his father has his hands in. He leaves behind Anya in Russia and try's to move forward with his life. The last thing he expects is for Anya to keep a secret from him. Tristan meets Stephanie, Brooke's sister, and they hit it off. Will Tristan be able to let everything go and let Stephanie love him?
