Deana accepts Lord Rockwell's scandalous invitation to the Chateau for some debauchery. He desires Deana and he loves commanding her into submission. There seems to be a West Wing for new guests for their pleasure, but there is also an East Wing where it is more extreme.
There's heaps of sexual content in this story - though I did enjoy reading it, who wouldn't! 5☆

I found this a really good book. I loved the additional scenes that I got in this book. Deana and Lord Rockwell are some of my favourite characters.

As usual another titillating, sexy, streamy and suspenseful story by Em Brown! Just a little warning, this book has a smart, strong, virile, sexy man, Baron Halston Rockwell, and a intelligent, down-on-her-luck, beautiful woman, Deana Harwood, who during the course of this book engage in very light aspects of BDSM. But they also light a fire from page one and it burns throughout the story until the wonderful, lovely end. I loved the snarky banter that had me laughing out loud and also the steamy, sexy scenes that were Kindle-melting. This book had me up until the wee hours of the night because I simply could NOT put it down! As with all Em Brown books, I give this one and all of them 5+++ Stars!

Excellent Storyline
I loved the interaction between Lord Rockwell and Miss Herwood. Their sexual attraction to each other was both erotic and sensual. An entertaining tale and a good addition to this series.

I enjoyed this one a lot, and was glad for the continuation of the main character's story.
My biggest problem was the subplot with the idiot girl. There's a scene with the idiot girl having a bad time with a bad dom, and it was really uncomfortable to read.

Wonderful
This is one of the most wonderful erotic romances I have read. It is both steamy (oh so steamy) and wonderfully tender. I like my romance with quite a lot of hot kink to them, so to have one that has this much heart is rare. I kind of want to read more about their happy ever after - is bound to be interesting.

This book is very interesting to read, the author writes well and the story develops. The main characters are very likeable and you feel with both of them and want them to find happiness as well as a solution for the financial problems of Miss Herwood. The interaction of both is a pleasure to read since they seem to care for each other and are open for advice from the other one. Both grow together when learning new things, they are open and enjoy the time together and in the Chateau. I totally loved the end. For me it had been a great read, but it considers explicit scenes and BDSM elements, so you should be open for that.
What I like in general about the authors books is the setting in time and place. You have references to de Sade and it makes the books so interesting.

This is well-written, historical erotica that focuses, refreshingly, on the woman's pleasure, not the man's, and Rockwell is very skilled at giving Deana pleasure.

Loved it..
Wow...that was different...but so enjoyable...love the main characters..a Baron and a gambler...what a journey they go on to find love! I really love the way Em Brown chooses England and their titled gentlemen and ladies to make the story so real. A must read for all Regency with hot steamy passion.

God this was stupid. Zero chemistry. Deana is a bitch. Rockwell is an idiot. The ridiculous subplot 🙄 Why this couple got two books makes no sense.
