My life should have been perfect.
I found my brother.
I found love.

But it wasn’t.

I didn’t fall for one man. I fell for three.
Brothers in blood and ink, bound by the same MC.
They want me. I want them.
But when I ask for all of them, only one is willing to share.

So I run. I hide with my brother’s MC, waiting for them to come for me.
They never do and whatever was left of me dies.

Then the gifts start.
The messages.
The feeling of being watched.

Someone is hunting me.

By the time the truth comes out, I’m already trapped and the men who shattered me are the only ones who can save me.

Couldn’t Put It Down!

Nothing ever comes easy for Bre Rose’s characters, and I will always buy a front-row seat to watch how the story unfolds. They will take hold of your heart, break it a bit and then will piece it back together—well, mostly. It’s no secret that Bre is a one-click author for me, and this book just reaffirms this tenfold.

Breaking through is complex, layered, and unputdownable. I have the biggest book hangover after reading this, and I had to sit with it for a while before I could find the words to do this story justice. Vee is fierce, she is fiery, and she knows what she wants. What she wants is her men; however, it’s not the easy path that she had hoped for.

So many times I yelled at Hank out loud. I wasn’t sure that he could redeem himself, and I still haven’t completely forgiven him, but by the end I did start liking him again. Now for the other guys, they are sweethearts, but sigh, the story isn’t complete without Hank. So I”m sooo glad it got his head out of the sand and saw the light.

This book has it all. Great, swoony characters, an amazing storyline, an intriguing plot and great chemistry with high heat.

If you love bikers, emotional rollercoasters and dark reads, this is the perfect book for you!

Breaking Through is the 2nd book in the Memphis Hellions series by Bre Rose.

Ok my car full of buttercups, keeps your arms and legs in the car at all times while the car is in motion this is going to be one heck of a rollercoaster ride. And let me tell you Bre Rose does not ease you into “Breaking Through”, she drops you straight onto the emotional roller-coaster and from the moment you get on the ride she doesn’t let up and she lets everything unfold from that moment on.

Through this entire book you get this ongoing and constant sense of instability simmering just under the surface of the entire story. And I’m not talking about just all the events that are happening around Vee, I’m talking about how she’s constantly feeling like there’s nothing around her that’s fully grounded, nothing feels completely secure, and Vee feels like with every choice she makes there’s going to be a loss attached to that decision. That bone deep tension is something that never settles, and it gives this book a restless and really a very heavy atmosphere.

At the center of it all we find Vee, and man, how she carries it all I’ll never know.

Vee is somewhat of a complicated FMC. She has this stunning and beautiful vulnerability to her, but you find that it’s layered with confusion, hurt, and a need to just hold onto something that just feels right and is just for her, even when the world around her is telling her no, or is against it.

I loved the way that Bre didn’t write Vee as someone who had everything figured out which helped to make Vee feel more authentic and real. If anything, Vee feels as though she’s actually trying to figure out and make sense out of her own emotions while everything around her is constantly shifting and changing and Vee feels like she can’t control anything.

And then we have the three men. Hank, Luke, and Josh. These three men really don’t fuse together the way you would think they should. Each one of these men push or pull the dynamic in totally different directions. And each man brings something completely different into Vee’s life, something that Vee herself has been missing. But, instead of balancing the group dynamics, together the four of them together create more tension, more conflict, and more pressure to choose something, to choose this bond that doesn’t feel complete without Vee, Hank, Luke, and Josh.

Hank: I’m going to be honest; I really didn’t like Hank at first. When Vee tells Hank that she wants him, Luke, and Josh he doesn’t react the best, even though he had just finished telling her that he loved her, but it wasn’t enough to share her. He then spends the majority of the book going through woman after woman to try and make Vee jealous in the hopes that Vee will, in his mind “come to her senses and choose him and him alone” even after she tells him that she refuses to choose and will not choose.

Hank is this Grump and you can tell that he really does care. At heart he’s a teddy bear who just makes some really poor decisions that could have caused Vee a lot of pain.

Vee and Hank bonded in the beginning while Vee was taking care of Hank after he was injured and through that they became close.

After Hank walked away, I loved how he realized he needed to change and started to see a therapist wanting to work on his issues and in the end was man enough to apologize not only to Vee but also to Luke and Josh (his brothers) for everything that he had done wrong. That showed a lot of his character growth and development and Bre did a stunning job with that.

And I loved how he would do sweet little things like getting Vee her favorite muffin and making sure that it was warm. I found that to be really rather sweet. Even though I personally didn’t think he did enough grovelling to win Vee back.

Luke: Luke is our cheeky, sweet and caring resident tattoo artist. He was rather shocked by Vee’s admission, and it takes him a little bit of time to process and organize his thoughts. But before he has the chance to give Vee his decision having decided that like Josh, he wants to try a poly relationship with Vee. But, believing she’s about to be rejected Vee runs to avoid the pain.

Once he’s back with Vee he can’t do enough to prove to her how much he loves her and just how loyal he is to her. He’s definitely really very relatable and he feels authentic and real. And the way he worked with Josh was stunning, and I loved the way the two men worked together in more than one way.

Josh: Is the observant and kind Doctor of our group.

Like Luke he can’t do enough to prove just how much he loves Vee and just how loyal he is to her and he’s open to trying a poly relationship for her.

He’s this sweetheart and from the moment you see Josh and Vee together you know that Vee feels the same way. And Josh is just so reliable and like Vee and Luke he feels so relatable and real.

And I found it’s here, in this group dynamic that the true emotional weight really sits.

Bre hasn’t given us a story that’s purely about love; this is a story about how that love is allowed to just exist, despite what society finds to be acceptable and what isn’t, and what happens when what your heart truly wants doesn’t completely fit into the structure that society is comfortable with. It’s about that push against societies expectations and it’s constant, and that helps to make every interaction that Vee has with Hank, Luke and Josh that much sharper.

Adding an additional layer to the intensity is the Motorcycle Club itself.

Everything around Vee, Hank, Luke, and Josh feels tighter, even more controlled, more influenced by the loyalty and the unspoken rules that is governed by the MC. You get this underlying sense that when one person makes a choice it doesn’t affect just them, that choice ripples out and effects the entire MC. And you can feel the pressure building up in the background and this results in making Vee’s situations feel almost oppressive.

And then, when Vee starts to pull away…you can really feel it. The distance that is caused by Vee pulling away, it’s not peaceful, it feels heavy, filled with so many unanswered questions, and these emotions that never just disappear and it’s all because Vee isn’t physically there to answer them. So, if anything, her disappearance amplifies everything that Vee has been doing her best to avoid.

I swear that Bre is the Queen of sudden tone shifts as she once again shifts the tone on us with a sense of not only being watched but also being hunted… this adds a darker edge that pushes “Breaking Through” into something more suspenseful, more uneasy, now it’s not just emotional tension; now it’s physical, it’s looming, it’s unpredictable. And this suddenly unexpected shift raises the stakes in this way that manages to keep you feeling unsettled.

What I found really stood out was just how raw all of this felt to me. There was nothing that ever felt clean or easy. Vee’s relationships with Hank, Luke, and Josh are far from easy or simple, the emotions are never neat or resolved, and none of the characters ever make decisions that feel safe or comfortable to you. And yet, that messiness is precisely what keeps driving this story forward.

I have to say that in the end this story sits perfectly in the space of an emotionally heavy, complicated romance. It’s a story where you find that love, identity, and your control are actually all entwined together. Bre has given us this intense, layered, and not so easy to sit with all the time story, but it hits hard and will leave a firm impression on you.

If you love messy relationship dynamics, Motorcycle Club Settings, high emotional conflict, and a story that pushes traditional societies expectations, then Breaking Through is going to be one you want to read ASAP and I can promise you, you’re going to love it.

My favorite quote from “Breaking Through” was:

“But you see, Veronica, there’s also something you should know about me. My mom taught me how to share, and I just so happen to like doing that.”

This one doesn’t ease you in, it drops you straight into emotional chaos and just lets it unfold from there.

There’s this constant sense of instability running through the entire story. Not just in what’s happening around Vee, but in how she feels like nothing is fully grounded, nothing is fully secure, and every choice comes with some kind of loss attached to it. That tension never really settles, and it gives the book this restless, almost heavy atmosphere.

Vee is at the center of all of it, and she carries a lot.

There’s a vulnerability to her, but it’s layered with confusion, hurt, and this need to hold onto something that feels right for her, even when everything around her is pushing against it. She doesn’t come across as someone who has it all figured out. If anything, she feels like she’s constantly trying to make sense of her own emotions while everything around her keeps shifting.

And then there are the three of them.

Hank, Luke, and Josh don’t blend together. They pull the dynamic in completely different directions. Each one brings something different into her life, and instead of balancing things out, it creates more tension. More conflict. More pressure to choose something that doesn’t feel complete without the others.

That’s really where the emotional weight sits.

It’s not just about love; it’s about how that love is allowed to exist. What’s acceptable, what isn’t, and what happens when what you want doesn’t fit into the structure everyone else is comfortable with. That push against expectations is constant, and it makes every interaction feel a little sharper.

The MC setting adds another layer to that intensity.

Everything feels tighter, more controlled, more influenced by loyalty and unspoken rules. There’s this underlying sense that personal choices don’t just affect one person, they ripple through the entire group. That pressure builds in the background and makes Vee’s situation feel even more suffocating.

And when she pulls away… you feel it.

That distance isn’t peaceful. It’s heavy, filled with unanswered questions and emotions that don’t just disappear because she’s not physically there anymore. If anything, it amplifies everything she’s trying to avoid.

Then the tone shifts again with that sense of being watched, hunted…

It adds this darker edge that pushes the story into something more suspenseful, more uneasy. It’s no longer just emotional tension; it’s physical, looming, and unpredictable. And that shift raises the stakes in a way that keeps everything feeling unsettled.

What stood out the most is how raw this feels.

Nothing is clean or easy. The relationships aren’t simple, the emotions aren’t neatly resolved, and the characters don’t always make choices that feel safe or comfortable. But that messiness is what drives the story.

Overall, this sits firmly in that space of emotionally heavy, complicated romance where love, identity, and control are all tangled together. It’s intense, layered, and not always easy to sit with, but it definitely leaves an impression.

If you’re drawn to messy relationship dynamics, MC settings, emotional conflict, and stories that push against traditional expectations, this is definitely one to pick up.

As always be mindful of any trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

Happy Reading! ✨📚

What I love about Bre Rose is she is great in getting a story out to us readers that holds us in it's thrall. And Veronica's story does just that!
Having spent time helping Hank heal from his gun shot wound, they become close....closer than she thought possible, so when he says he loves her, why can't she say it back?
Being a member of The Hellions MC, Hank and his brothers, Luke and Josh have known Veronica awhile and all hold feelings for her. She is just unsure if they can share.
Ash and Arizona, her best friends share their men, she just hopes when she asks the question that they can too.
It seems that Vee is not to get her HEA with her men.
Luke is shocked by her admission, and before he can organise his thoughts Vee takes off.
When she asks Hank, he cannot believe he is not enough.
Josh on the other hand is open to trying.
A book full of angst and feels just the way Bre Rose loves to write.
Plenty of MC drama as the three men try to sort out their feelings so they don't lose the one thing that means everything to them.
As Vee watches Hank move on, Luke and Josh decide that they are willing to try a poly relationship with Vee.
Vee hides at the Satan's Rejects, her brother Luca's MC club.
Luca has grown up in the tough MC world when taken by their father, leaving Vee and her mother alone.
Luca is the new hard a33ed Pres of the club, just trying to reorganise things after he killed the old Pres, his father.
There is nothing he would not do for his sister!
So when he sees Luke, Josh and Hank, he lets them know to stay away from his sister, or else! Yes!! Love an overprotective brother!
As Vee tries to remain in the MC world that she has grown to love, the hurt from Hank as he flaunts women in front of her, trying to make her jealous and come back to him, it all backfires!
Luke and Hosh cannot do enough to prove their love and loyalty to their woman!
But she doesn't want to accept only two as she wants her three men to still be friends and love her unconditionally!
How and when does Hank "get his head outta his ass" and accept that Vee loves him no less than Luke or Josh?
Ha! and here comes the twist! Which of course it does! Which leads to Vee and her men facing decisions that Hank didn't know he needed to make concerning Vee, but had Luke and Josh making sure not to let their girl go again!
You will love it all. A nice addition to the Memphis Hellions MC collection of books!

There’s a particular kind of reader anxiety reserved for parachuting into the middle of a long-running series, like arriving late to a party where everyone already has inside jokes and unresolved tension. Not ideal. And yet, Breaking Through by Bre Rose takes that hesitation, smirks at it, and proceeds to make it completely irrelevant.

Yes, I stumbled at the start. Briefly. There was a moment of “who’s who, and why do I feel like I’ve missed a memo”? But give it a couple of chapters, and suddenly, you’re not catching up anymore. You’re in. Fully immersed, like you’ve always belonged in this gritty, pulse-heavy world. That, right there, is skill.

This is MC romance, so don’t expect sunshine and polite conversation. The darkness is present, coiled, simmering, but not gratuitous. Instead, it wraps around you like a well-worn leather jacket: heavy, familiar, oddly comforting. The world is layered, the stakes feel real, and the emotional undercurrent hits harder than you expect.

And the characters? Oh, they’re a problem. The best kind. Men carved out of steel and bad decisions, yet somehow harboring those dangerously soft centers reserved for the people they love. Women who don’t just hold their ground, they own it, with zero tolerance for nonsense and even less patience for excuses.

No one here is neutral. You will react. Intensely. Some you’ll adore, some you’ll want to throttle, and a few will have you mentally drafting intervention plans. But that’s the magic of it, this messy, chaotic emotional investment. If a book leaves you feeling politely indifferent, what’s even the point?

Breaking Through doesn’t ask for your attention, it takes it, holds it, and makes sure you feel every beat along the way. And honestly? Worth every second of that initial disorientation.

Buckle up. You’re not just reading this one, you’re riding it.

This one drops you right into the middle of everything, so if you haven't read the previous book (which I haven't) then you start this off a little confused. That said, it wasn't too hard to catch up/get into the story and I'm definitely interested in going back and reading the others (of which, have been on my TBR for some time now).

There were a lot of poor decisions in this (namely Hank, but also a little from Vee too). A lot of this could have been avoided with open communication (hind sight's a b*tch right?) something Vee herself notes. Should she have explicitly stated she was still seeing Luke when she started things with Hank? Definitely. At the same time, none of them definied their relationships and had that official/exclusive conversation so...

It's definitely filled with a lot of raw emotions from the get go. We start off with Hank and Vee where he's declaring his love for her and Vee confesses that while she has strong feelings for him, she still has feelings for Luke.

What Hank does from there is...well, you kinda hate the guy for a while. He literally tells her he loves her, but not enough to share her then spends the majority of the book using other women to make Vee jealous so she will "come to her senses and choose me" after telling him she refuses to choose. So, yes there is OWD in this book.

He was also a bit hypocritical because when he started things with Vee, he knew she was with Luke/Luke was in love with her and gearing up to ask her to be his ol' lady. Then he goes on a woe is me/you betrayed me path and takes it out on Luke who if anything should be the one feeling betrayed.

While Vee didn't really give Luke a chance to process everything when she told him before running, he and Josh come together rather quick to try and win their girl back. I loved their dynamic and how supportive and protective they were of Vee.

Breaking Through - Bre Rose
4.25/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I absolutely devoured this book in one day and I was here for it. So, I didn’t read the book before this one but that’s okay because I’m definitely going to go back and eventually read it. I am a sucker for a reverse harem with a bit of groveling.

I really loved Vee, Hank, Josh and Luke. I wanted to smack Hank the majority of the book but when you figure him out, you kind of understand him. He didn’t even give poor Vee a chance to explain in the beginning. The things for her groveling were sweet but man, I wanted more groveling. Ha.

When Luke and Josh finally came together and got their woman, I knew this was going to be so good. These guys would do everything for her. All three of her guys loved so deeply.

Things happen and I feel for Vee so much. You definitely go through your emotions with this one, so definitely read the warnings before you dive into this book.

The MC guys, especially her brother don’t stop at nothing until she’s protected. Even when she didn’t wanted to see Hank, he still did little things like getting her favorite muffin and making sure it was warm. That was kind of sweet.

The found family in this book was seriously amazing. The love that the guys had for Vee whether it was her guys, her actual brother or the guys in the club, it was everything. Also, I loved the girls that loved her. L & J can go rot somewhere.

Other than that, I really loved this book so much and I can’t read more in this series, especially with that cliffhanger we got for some more things to happen.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Amazing 💥💥

An amazing read in the world of the Memphis Hellions. This one focusing on Vee and the men who steal her heart. We get the backstory of Vee, who we see in the last book has people from her past pop back up. We learn all about her childhood and what she went through. We then get to see the tension, utter heartbreak, burning chemistry and spice, and all the drama and chaos that Vee and her men get to journey through. We get to see her rebuild her relationship with her long lost brother fromnanother mc. Being connected to all the girls in the club Vee has her best friends. Her ride or dies. She also meets and falls for three men who are all the opposite of each other. Grumpy Hank, Doc Josh and Luke are resident tattooist. These men have her hearts and she theirs. What happens when one doesn't want to share? What happens when utter heartbreak rips the guys apart from being brothers of the MC? What happens when the past that should of stayed buried just happens to be dug up? This was a fast paced book for me that held me hostage until the end.

I absolutely loved this book and all the books in the Memphis world. I highly recommend you to read them in order as you meet the characters as the story progresses and new books reference things from previous books.

Heart big enough.

A RH with dark moments—unsurprising, since all three MMCs belong to an MC.

This is a story about miscommunication and the confusion and pain that come from it. It shows what happens when cards aren’t laid on the table from the beginning, and when the time comes to be honest, not everyone is on the same page.

It’s also a story about second chances and not letting happiness slip through your fingers. It may not look exactly how we first imagined, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be wonderful.

Guys, don’t you know that sharing is caring?
Not all of them are so blind or limited, but with our FMC, it’s all or nothing—even when it gets a bit frustrating. Not everyone is in the same boat, but what about those who want to be? Don’t they deserve a chance?

Girl, you’re a badass! Grab happiness with both hands and show those narrow-minded people what they’re missing. Don’t let tantrums—because that’s exactly what they feel like—dictate your happiness.

It’s interconnected with other books, some characters and situations are mentioned. If you want to avoid spoilers, it might be best to read the other stories first.

But it’s not all heartache—we also get some pretty steamy scenes and a well-deserved HEA.
ne thing they can be sure of is that their lives are anything but monotonous—they’ll be full of surprises.

I couldn’t put this book down! What a page turner! I loved reading about Vee and her men-Luke, Hank and Josh. Even though their relationships seemed touch and go, wait til you find out what happens in the end. The guys are part of the Hellions MC. Luke is a tattoo artist and Josh is a doctor.

Vee and her brother Luca didn’t have the best childhood. They were twins and very close. Their father took Luca away from his sister and mom and was the President of the Satan’s Rejects. Luca took over after his father died. Luca and Vee were finally reunited.

As for Vee’s relationship with the guys, it was complicated. She was taking care of Hank after an incident and they got close. She had also been seeing Luke. Josh had feelings for Vee also. Let’s put it this way, Vee wanted all three men or none. Only one wanted to share, one was unsure and one was a no. Vee couldn’t accept that from them. Two guys eventually decided they could share. Which ones? Wait til you find out! One just kept pushing her away.

When an unexpected event happened to Vee, can the one who pushed her away realize he could possibly share with his brothers? This book is well worth the read and you won’t want to miss what unexpected event comes to be!

3.5 ⭐ // 🌶️🌶️🌶️

So, I'm going to start this with... You definitely need to read this series in order. I haven't read book one of the Memphis Hellions and it left me questions at the beginning of the book. I definitely felt like I was missing out. However, I will say, I got through this book just fine once I was a third of the way through it.

Now, that is not why I'm giving this story a 3.5, because that was just reader error. I'm giving it a 3.5, because I just really couldn't connect with the FMC. I found her extremely frustrating and low-key annoying. The story was overall, very well written. I've read books from Bre Rose before, and she is a fantastic author, but this book just wasn't for me, especially since I hadn't read book one. It wasn't entirely a predictable read, but from what I gathered it sort of mirrored the first book in certain aspects.

Anyway, thank you Bre and her PR team for letting me read this book. I do wish I could have read the first book, and connected better with the FMC, but it wasn't in the cards. However, this could be an enjoyable read for someone else, so please read book one before you pick up this book.

Sometimes the heart needs more than one person

This book had me so freaking angry at Hank. That man was doing EVERYTHING wrong and I just wanted to knock some sense into him. He was being cruel and hurting everyone including himself in the process. I think what he did at the end was very sweet but I he should have groveled more.

I absolutely adored Luke and Josh and even when they were unsure about what she was asking they were willing to try. They actually put in the work and deserved to be in Vee's bed.

This was a fun read with two separate MC groups coming together because of Vee. I like how they were willing to do whatever was necessary for someone who mattered greatly to both groups. I adored Vee's brother and give him props for everything he had accomplished since taking over.

I also REALLLLLLLLY hated that bartender. She was terrible and I wanted to throttle her almost as much as Hank. lol

Bre Rose always brings some trauma and healing into her stories. The main characters need live, grow and be challenged in order to thrive in their happiness.

Nothing ever comes easy for Bre Rose’s characters, and I will always show up for the emotional ride. This story pulled me in completely, broke my heart, and slowly pieced it back together. I’m still sitting with the aftermath.

Breaking Through is layered, intense, and impossible to put down. Vee is fierce, fiery, and determined, but she’s also vulnerable, carrying confusion and hurt while trying to hold onto what feels right. Her journey feels raw and real, especially as everything around her feels unstable and uncertain.

Hank, Luke, and Josh each bring something different, creating tension rather than balance. I struggled with Hank for a while and wasn’t sure he could redeem himself, but by the end, I came around. The story wouldn’t be complete without him.

This book is emotional chaos in the best way, with swoony characters, strong chemistry, and a heavy, gripping atmosphere that never lets up. If you love dark, angsty biker romance, this one absolutely delivers.

First, you're going to have to read the first book (I can't stress this enough) because this book was one that reels you in and doesn't let go until it carries you over to a cliffhanger and makes you stay there, waiting for the next installment and if you don't know how you got there, you're going to get lost.
I really couldn't put this one down. The life of Veronica isn't one of sunshine and roses. She's lived hard and you really feel for her. She's strong, she's no nonsense and she's an FMC to be loved.
Now onto the MMCs... Luke and Josh were were the ideal love interests - Hank.. what can I say about Hank, except that I may have facepalmed so much with this man that I almost gave myself a concussion. But he ends up growing on you.
I really enjoyed this series so far and I'm looking forward to what's to come.
I definitely recommend this, but please be mindful of the trigger warnings.

Like with all of Bre Rose books I knew going into this that as soon as I started reading, I wouldn’t be able to stop until I finished it and this book was no different.
I love that Vee got her own story, and that we got to learn a little more about Luca and their relationship. Vee has not had it easy, and you can really feel her struggle with trusting herself and her heart. That being said, she is so strong. She has this inner strength that is just wow.
I love the guys. I have to say Doc is my favorite he goes after what he wants and won’t take no for an answer. I’m not going to say much about the other guys because I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say there were times I wanted to throw my Kindle. Their behavior had me like, “Dude, what were you thinking?”

Bre Rose, girl, you did it again!! I loved it and cannot wait to read what comes next.

Breaking Through ( Memphis Hellions ) Mc , Why Choose , Poly Relationships!! And all the spice you could ever want or need . Welcome Back !! To The World Of The Memphis Hellions !!! Settle in grab on tight and prepare yourself for one heck of a ride . This time around we get Vee’s and her guys story and omg did I absolutely adore every single second of it . I loved how strong and resilient Vee was and is , even with everything she’s been through she finds a way to persevere through it all . And her guys each so different, each filled with so many layers and complexities. Hank , Luca and Josh - how do you even choose between them !!! Well absolutely impossible for this girl to do . Add into that the angst , the humor , the witty banter , the insane chemistry, the moments that will wreck you in all the best ways . I seriously could not devour this amazing story fast enough.

This book is part of the Memphis Hellions series. There are 4 books in this series. After reading this book I know I will read the rest of this series!
This story was amazing. The FMC is such a strong character. I love how she makes choices, sticks by her convictions no matter what. She knew what she wanted out of life and made moves to reach that goal. I admire her strength in moving forward no matter how she feels. She is fiercely loyal to her brother and her friends. I love this FMC!!
Thank you, Bre Rose, for another amazing read. This story pulled at the heartstrings. It was also sweet, romantic and steamy. This story and the characters really pulled me in. I need to know more about this world. I plan to read the Memphis Duet as soon as I can!

Breaking Through by Bre Rose — 3.5 ⭐️
MMCs: Luke. Josh. Hank.
FMC: Vee

This one drops you right into the middle of everything, so if you haven't read the previous book (which I haven't) then you start this off a little confused. I’m definitely going to go back and eventually read it because I felt like maybe I was missing some things. The guys are part of the Hellions MC. Luke is a tattoo artist and Josh is a doctor. We start off with Hank — where he's declaring his love for Vee.. but Vee confesses that while she has strong feelings for him, she still has feelings for Luke. Hank doesn’t feel like enough. Hank spends most of the book using other women to make her jealous in hopes she’d come back to him. It was kinda gross.

Adore Vee and her men! Josh was such a sweetheart, all in from the second he knew Vee felt the same way. Luke was my favorite, though! He might not have taken Vee's interest in other men the best way at first, but he definitely was relatable. And I loved how he worked with Josh, in more than one way, wink. Hank took a bit for me. He definitely redeemed himself at the end, and I love how he took the time to see a therapist and to work on his issues. As well as being a man and apologizing for what he did wrong with his brothers. Loved getting to see previous FMCs, Ash and Arizona! This was a fun read.

Vee aka Veronica and her twin Luca had such a great relationship. She was a tough FmC who fell in love with Luke and Hank first then started to feel something for Josh. When Hank flat stated he would not share her she was heartbroken. Luke and Josh worked through their feelings to accept what felt for jer and what she wanted. Hank was not only refusing but was hurtful. The atory was not just about them dealing with their feelings or the dynamics of the unconventional relationship but an unknown threat they were unaware existed. The story deals with many different things so check the trigger warning for sensitive readers. Bre as always had me engaged and invested.

I read this book without reading Unbreakable first, but I am a fan of Bre Rose. It was an exciting reverse harem romance. It is told from the 4 main characters' perspective. There is character growth, especially in the character Hank. The female main character was so devoted to the men she loved that she was willing to leave rather than hurt their friendships and MC. I was sucked into the story right away and especially liked the suspense, sweetness, and spice. I will be going back and reading other books from this universe.
I received an advance review copy from the author for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Had some feelings about this one. But that speaks to Bre’s writing abilities. She writes a real good redemption arc. Hank had QUITE a road to travel for that one. In my opinion. Luke and Josh are great and ready to give Vee their hearts. Eventually. VeeVee has been THROUGH it. And she deserves everything good the world can give her. She’s got a large heart and she just wants to share it. I didn’t read the books before this one. So I was a little blind to the other characters. BUT that wasn’t an issue for my overall reading experience. It was clear enough to figure out what happened to the other woman in the group.

MORE MEMPHIS HELLIONS PLEASE

As a fan of the Memphis Hellions Series from Bre Rose, I was excited to hear Vee was hopefully going to have a HEA. She is lightly touched on in previous books but Breaking Through is all about her and her men. And in true Bre Rose fashion, she made these characters work for it. The story starts chaotic, messy but absolutely full of emotion and deep feelings of loyalty and love. These characters are written in such a beautiful way that they compliment and enhance each other. There's passion and angst and as is the way with all Hellions, violence and revenge. The continued world building in this book is what keeps me coming back for more and I hope this continues in more Memphis Hellion stories.

I was so excited to read this and couldn't put this down. The start is so good! It gets you right in the story and doesn't let you go. I do recommend reading the other books before reading this otherwise you'd get confused where you are. This just fits in with the other books. Darker stories, as this does have MC in it of course, which I love! I think the backgroundstory of Vee and what she has been through is really done well and the guys? Chef's kiss and exactly what Vee needs. These guys are complete opposites and I love that too. The road to happiness is paved with good intentions but the past comes haunting too!

This was a great story! My heart was broken with Hank’s actions from the start. Making Vee ‘choose’ without really hearing what she was saying was one thing but his actions later on were devastating. And of course it took an awful event to make him see the error of his ways. All while Josh and Luke, while hesitant, were willing to at least consider what Vee was saying. I’m a little disappointed in the ending as it seemed a little rushed but I’m hoping the next story with include more of Vee and her guys.

This is Vee’s book who we have met briefly in previous Hellion books. I loved diving back into the Hellion’s world and Vee’s story was full of action, sass and sexy men. The relationship with her men hits some snags and a lot goes down before they manage to work through everything but it’s never lacking in love and affection. The book is well written and I found myself eager to know what was going to happen next. If sexy MC’s and the strong women they love are your thing then you need to read this book.

Utterly loved this story. Vee is such a beautiful character but my gosh did she have to go through the ringer. I was ready to ride at dawn for her (and also shake the crap out of Hank for being such a pain). Luke and Josh did have to pull their head out a little, but once they got with the picture it made up for the complete idiocy of Hank.
I loved seeing all the different characters I have grown to love interact in this book. I really enjoyed seeing Vee know what she wanted and not taking any less than what she deserved. I adore this world and cannot wait to see more from it.

this book was a roller coaster of everything I loved it!

I really enjoyed this book from beginning right till the end.

I liked the ending left it open for more

Luke is sweet and caring

Josh is observant and kind

Hank a teddy bear at heart that made some silly decisions

Vee jumps to the worst case scenarios and doesn’t let ppl talk, always thinking the worst.

Key points in no particular order:
- HEA
- Talk of 🍇
- Kids napping
- Captivity
- Pregnancy
- Birth in epilogue
- Spicy open door 5/5
- Family drama
- RH
- MC
- a - *buse not by main mmc’s

when plans change…

Vee didn’t plan to fall for three men, but somehow she did, and each of them brings something different. When one of them says no thank you to sharing, everything shifts and she’s forced to decide what she really wants. I picked this up not realizing it was part of a series, but it worked perfectly as a standalone. The small bits of other characters and past events actually makes me more curious, and I’ll definitely be going back to read the rest so I can catch up.

Let me first start by saying that though this is part of the Memphis Hellions series it is not required to read the other books first, just highly recommended!

Breaking through is such a good book. It truly had me deep in my feels. I loved getting to see the characters explore their connections, and how they coped with everything.

This book had alot of ups and downs. Let's just say some were NOT ok with the why choose life, but life has a way of kicking you in the teeth and making you truly realize what is important! Definitely check your trigger warnings!
