This has all the best parts of an omegaverse! Ryder & Hunter are so swoony, and Scotty is one lucky lady. Even though she truly has to fight for what she deserves, even if she doesn’t think she deserves it at all. This was cute, funny, sweet, and spicy. Really enjoyed it!!

This book had so many good things in it. Hot hockey players who are so gone over the coach’s daughter who also happens to be an omega. The way Ryder and Hunter are so protective of Scotty and spoil her. They will stop at nothing to make her realize her worth after she broke off her engagement. And the way they stood up to her father? Yes please! And I loved Ryder and Hunter together 🥵 such a fun hockey omegaverse book!

This story moved fast. By chapter 6 girlie has broken up with her beta boyfriend, gotten into a car accident, got fingered by her alphas in a car, meets the woman her dad is dating and has a big awkward family dinner.


First of all, girlie pop hit her head and got thrown around a bit in the car accident and the guys barely checked on her, they were more concerned with getting into her pants. Then they get to her dad's house and can't act respectful for 5 minutes and immediately start throwing out sexual ineuendos in front of her father who is also their coach. Oh and then doing stuff under the table at dinner. Of course. THIS IS THE FIRST NIGHT THEY MET HER, IMMEDIATELY AFTER SHE WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT....oh and one of the dudes knows that his mom is DATING her dad but still pursues her without mentioning it. And then when she asks if they just like her for her sent match....girl that's literally all they know about you you met 5 minutes ago.

This was so F*CKING GOOD!!! I haven’t laughed so much while reading in a while and I desperately needed it. I loved these characters and their story so SO much! Scotty is better than me with her dad, I probably wouldn’t have spoken to that man ever again. I do appreciate the character growth her dad had towards the end though, and I know seeing that can be really healing for people. I absolutely LOVED Hunter and Ryder, I’m a sucker for boyfriends who are also boyfriends and these two were the EPITOME of that. I also really liked Ryder’s mom, I was so happy when she was on Scotty’s side full stop. I can’t wait for Scotty’s friends to get their own stories, I’m already obsessed with Millie.

This was a really cute and swoony story. I loved all three of these guys. They were so good together. So much fun with a perfect amount of spice. This was a such an easy read as it flowed so well. I loved their journey; it was emotional, fast, and sizzlingly hot as Scotty processed the betrayal of her past and the possibility of a future with two amazing Alphas. It’s a beautiful "cozy" hockey romance with a lovely focus on found family.
Ryder and Hunter are just incredible. They have such a strong, supportive bond, and I loved how they instantly brought Scotty into their relationship without hesitation. Hunter is a total "cheeky brat" with a big squishy heart, while Ryder is the intense "Alpha Daddy" and caretaker of the pack. The banter between the three was so entertaining, and seeing Scotty egg the boys on was extremely yummy! I truly loved how possessive and protective they were; when things inevitably blow up and Scotty runs, their determination to put her happiness above even their beloved hockey made me swoon.

Scotty is such a strong, feisty character once her layers of hurt and loneliness are peeled away, and Hunter and Ryder were the perfect men to help her heal. Even though the coach said things that had my chin hitting the floor (seriously, I get why Scotty ended up with a deadbeat like Ken!), the ending was so satisfying. This was an engaging, easy read with a sizzling connection. Highly recommended!

- The guys’ relationship is so cute, I cannot. One of my favorite MM couples written. I’m not sure if I’m an oddball or not, but I love pre-established mm more than bi-awakenings (I love both don’t get me wrong 🥵). There’s just something about them already loving each other so fiercely and opening their hearts more for that other person that’s meant to be with them that gets me every time.😍

- Gahh, Scotty’s dad was suck a d!ck (literally lol). How can someone who’s supposed to love you beyond everything else treat them so horribly? Honestly really didn’t like him but the POV softened me a bit to him.

Right from the start there’s a connection between the three of them. Scotty’s omega side is all for this turn of events but Scotty herself isn’t. Especially after what she witnessed with her fiancée,ex fiancée now.

Things get more complicated because the guys are 2 of Scotty’s dad’s hockey players and also Ryders mom is dating, well engaged now, to Scotty’s dad.

For a bit Scotty tries to deny the feelings and the pull she has towards the two, but it’s futile. They care about her and see her worth. They stick up for and protect her when her ex won’t leave her alone. They even go toe to toe with her dad, their coach, when he’s being a pigheaded man. I couldn’t believe he’d say all those things to his only child all because she left someone who cheated on her and then fell in love with her scent matches. Like um excuse me, why do you want your daughter to be with someone who treated her poorly and ended up in bed with someone else just weeks before their marriage? Like come on dude. Get it together.
I did love how Morgan stood up for her. She hasn’t known Scotty long, but called her dad out on his bullshit and stuck up for her.
Glad Scotty’s dad finally got his head out of his butt and was able to fix his relationship with not only his daughter, but with Morgan and also the guys.
Scotty got everything she dreamed of. She got a better relationship with her father, amazing friends who stood by her through everything, a step mom who didn’t take away the memory and love her mom had for her, but added to it. And she got 2 amazing Alphas who worship the ground she walks on. (she also got an amazing sex life. Those scenes for spicy).
Can’t wait to read about Ella next.

This was my first Omegaverse book. And I loved it! I will definitely be diving more into that world because of this book.

Scotty had a rough day. She walked in on her fiance cheating on her, and drove back to her hometown to stay with her dad. Then she gets into a car accident hitting the car of two bonded NHL players and her new scent mates, one of which is her soon to be step brother and both were playing under her Coach dad.

I loved the why choose trope and the grumpy/cinnamon roll combo of the two guys. I really liked that the MM relationship was already established before Scotty joined the pack instead of doing a bi-awakening. It really allowed the focus to be on Scotty and her accepting that she wanted to be in a relationship with her dad's players and her future step brother.

The Alpha energy was amazing, and the possessiveness from all three of the characters, perfection. The banter was great too. Scotty fit in perfect with Hunter and Ryder. The support Scotty gave Ryder and Hunter in their relationship helped strengthen the relationship between the three of them.

This was a pretty fast burn and I'm not mad about it. I am very happy this was my first Omegaverse book and look forward to more from Celeste.

I can't wait to see Ella get her happy ever after!

I love a good hockey romance. Throw in omega-verse and it’s a done deal!

This book starts off with a bang…literally!! Scotty is heading home to lick her wounds and is in a car crash. It’s why I always leave my phone tucked away and won’t look at it while I drive it just takes one second.

Fate never sits idle..it knows what we need and puts that in our path at just the right time. Scotty needed her Alpha’s and her new step mom, she just didn’t know it yet.

This was a fast paced read but it needed to be. Nothing was left out. Everything felt exactly right and for an omega-verse book with scent-matched packs it flowed beautifully.

Scotty’s dad had me ready to jump through the pages and clock him. I am so glad Hunter and Ryder stood up to him and defended her regardless of his relationship as their coach and as their mom’s fiancée.

So much happened so fast that it’s shocking Scotty was able to function at all and that her Omega side just didn’t shut down. The guys never gave up on her and showed her no matter what they choose her and will stick by her no matter how hard or dark it gets.

I also loved how Morgan showed her she could be there for her and not take her Mom’s place, but still help her like a Mom would. Brought tears to my eyes.

Great book. Great story line and amazing alphas!

Thank you for the ARC! This was my first Omegaverse book and I wasn’t sure what to expect but ended up loving it!

This book has the right amount of spice, romance, conflict, plot and it kept you wanting more with each page.

The loved the two Alpha MMCs who knew what they wanted from their Omega FMC. Having two Alphas but having Ryder be the more “intense” one and Hunter be the “softer” one made for a great balance between the two of them. I also really enjoyed seeing how Scotty strengthened their relationship with each other.

I always love a FMC that has her own stuff to overcome but then continues to grow from it. From finding her fiancé cheating, to her father’s relationship and finally to a car accident that lead her to finding her scent matches and finally letting Omega side out! She finally allowed herself to be happy! I also really enjoyed seeing the relationship that Scotty had with Morgan. Morgan was always on her side and the way she helped her just made for a beautiful stepmother-stepdaughter dynamic.

I cannot wait to see Ella and Mille get their own stories. They both deserve happiness!

Cute but rushed story

This story was good but the ending ended up feeling like it was just skipped over. To go from a heat spike to bonding after all the turmoil was completely unbelievable. However, what was worse is that was it because the epilogue is years later. There was no resolution and it made that epilogue feel unattainable.

Scotty goes from this unhappy relationship with a cheating beta she was supposed to marry to bonding two alphas in a couple hundred pages. Even with a scent match she was so messed up by everything that it didn't feel right.

I love these men. They were unapologetic about what they wanted. They were out and proud together and they knew right away Scotty was going to be theirs. They definitely pushed to get closer faster than they should have but they also let Scotty make her choices too. I really wanted more relationship building in this book.

I always love a beautiful happy ending but this one left me confused as to how they got there. Everything was such a mess and then suddenly it wasn't but we have no idea how. 3.75⭐ on this one since it lacked the building of everything.

What makes it even more complicated is that her dad is dating one of the player’s mother. She tries to fight the attraction, but it’s a losing battle. What follows is a secret relationship filled with tension, heat, and emotion.

Let me just say that her dad made me SO mad 😤 but also made me cry 😭 (I guess I just missed my Dad).

Overall, I recommend this book!

Scotty is having the shittiest day ever. She caught her fiancé cheating with the neighbor, she had a car accident on the way back home, and if that wasn't enough, the two Alphas from the other car were involved in the accident are her scent-matched mates.

Yeah, that is a lot to process in one gulp. She also struggles to react appropriately to situations. She doesn't have much self-confidence left because of her ex. She doesn't know where she belongs, because her father has a girlfriend he wants to marry. I do understand that she doesn't know it anymore.

The two Alphas, Hunter and Ryder, are obsessed with Scotty from the very first moment. And they want to give Scotty the time she needs, they also remain her courting. So there are quite a few awkward situations in this story.

It is an MMF romance, my favorite! And for the author's first novel, this is a very successful result. The story is gripping, not too conventional. Fast pace but not rushed. The spice is good! And not too much or too little. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys reading MMF Omegaverse!

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for the opportunity to read this book as an ARC.

I would also like to note this will be a very stort review with no spoilers.


Some of the things I noticed in this books are:

- That there is contemporary in a different world / world with different rules and then their is contemporary with only omegaverse rules added. And this perfectly falls in the latter.

- With that in mind an omega who reads mm hockey Romance novels and then gets that.... well that was the icing I didn't know I needed. Along with what felt like a forth wall break, lol.

-The pacing is a little slow then all speed ahead but still an enjoyable read.

- The epilogue is THE best. Do not skip!

That's all for this review, I got confused on the time for when to write this and then got all messed up trying to write it. So this is it.... with finale thoughts....

Great book. Quick read. Spicy. Funny. Got KU (kindle unlimited) give it a try.

I really enjoyed Celeste’s first full length novel! Scotty meets her scent matched alphas on the exact same day she flees back to hometown after catching her now ex-fiancee cheating on her. As sweet as they are to her and despite her attraction to them, she is just completely overwhelmed by everything. While they take her to her father’s house, she discovers her father is Hunter and Ryder’s coach. Upon arriving at her childhood home, Scotty discovers her widowed father kissing a woman in his kitchen. Her world is further rocked when he announces that they will be marrying soon. Oh, and his fiancée is Ryder’s mom. So much craziness, but try as she might, she cannot deny she feels something for them. Scotty, Ryder, and Hunter are spicy hot together, and despite the family/relationship drama, there is very little angst in this story. Hunter and Ryder are the perfect alphas for Scotty. Loved it!!!

An incredibly good read! What better way to start a romance than with a bang! Or a crash, as the case may be. Throw in the pow of scent match and you’ve got the beginning of a great story. But, of course, these things never run smoothly. Imagine walking in on your dad kissing someone! *shudder* That someone bring your scent match’s mother?! Awkwaaaaard.
Scotty doesn’t believe she can have a happy ending, so tries really hard to stay away from Ryder and Hunter. Only, they don’t want to stay away. And because her father doesn’t know that they’re scent matches, he keeps organizing ‘family’ dinners.
Everything comes to a head when Scotty’s ex decides to show up at one of these dinners. Two overprotective hockey players defending their scent match. Yeah. It allll comes out. Helloooo angry dad. But not even he can stand up against Ryder’s mom for long. The question is, does Scotty believe she can have it all?

We have a strong Omega FMC with a huge heart and a bad ex, and two wonderful Alpha MMCs who are boyfriends—and hockey players.

She’s like forbidden fruit, but she’s far too important to them for that to be an obstacle.
They’re far too irresistible for the omega—and far too good for her wounded heart.

And her friends? They’re phenomenal. Their friendship is incredible.

It’s an incredibly hilarious and very steamy story, but we also get drama, heartbreak, and insecurities to overcome.
Several times my eyes filled with tears, and just as many times I felt a strong urge to give certain people a piece of my mind.

It ends with a HEA—the opening scene to the rest of their lives. And... I need that story ASAP!

I think I give this book a 3.5 star rating but rounding up to 4 because I do think this was a great start to the author’s writing journey. The writing was smooth, easy to follow, and the story was perfectly cozy with a side of spice.

This book was short & sweet which is perfect for what I was looking for. The spice was fantastic and the instalove scent match aspect worked for me. I do love myself an Omegaverse book.

Now what I didn’t like….the first one being that I felt like the author fetishized the MM aspect of the guy’s relationship sometimes. Scotty would talk about how hot it was to watch them kiss or suck each other off. Yes, the guys did love each other fiercely, but Scotty mostly focused on how hot it made her watching them makeout.

The second thing was how easy she forgave her father. He said some really mean things that I would have not let slide. He deserved to do some major groveling, maybe even some therapy for those anger issues.

After years of denying her omega to stay in a relationship with her Beta fiancée, Scotty finds him in her bed with the neighbor! She calls off the wedding, packs her stuff, and heads home. A minor fender bender puts two very delicious smelling alphas right in her path. Ryder and Hunter are everything Scotty has ever wanted in alphas and everything she’s not allowed to have since they work for her dad and are 100% off limits.

Scotty’s dad is a freaking nightmare, he embodies the “anything but going to therapy and dealing with emotions” mentality so brilliantly that you LOVE TO HATE him.

How many changes can one omega handle before she completely crumbles? Scotty for sure finds the limit as life delivers blow after blow to her life and heart.

This was a sweet book, but there are definitely some triggers for some so check the warnings.

Scotty has it rough from the get-go. I really wanted to throttle Ken after she caught him cheating on her with her neighbor. To add injury to insult, she then gets in a car accident. Luckily for her, however, the guys that she meets from the other vehicle are her scent matches. I enjoy a bi-awakening, but I really love when the guys are already in love with each other and the other person slots into their relationships. The idea that there was always a spot that was shaped for the character is heart warming. Hopefully not spoiling, but I hate the situation that develops with her dad. I love that the person who stood up for her is not necessarily the person who you thought would have been that person. If you are looking for a great MMF omegaverse this completely takes the cake. Looking forward to more from this author.

I had such a great time reading this!! I love a good why choose, and when you mix in omegaverse, hockey, and that found family vibe?? I’m immediately hooked. Easy 5 stars for me!
Ryder and Hunter being already established made everything hit so much better, just straight into that dynamic. And omg the grumpy/cinnamon roll combo between them?? Obsessed. Scotty sliding into their relationship felt so natural, and I LOVED watching her come to terms with wanting them, even with all the complicated ties.
The alpha energy was EVERYTHING. Ryder and Hunter were insanely protective of Scotty, definitely leaning into a little alphahole behavior at times, but honestly? I ate it up. The possessiveness, the banter, the way Scotty supported both of them and strengthened their bond as a trio, it all just worked so well.

How can you not love boyfriends who are also boyfriends? That dynamic alone made this a fun pick-up. It's an easy, comfy read with plenty of extra spice and the steamy scenes really delivered and were genuinely hot.

That said, it leans hard into insta-love and insta-lust, so don't expect a slow burn or much character development. The omegaverse trope felt either unnecessary or underdeveloped, like the author couldn't fully commit between leaning into omegaverse mechanics or just exploring a power-dynamic balance, and the story ended up suspended between the two.

My biggest gripe: I can't stand watching a grown woman tank her own life while whining about what her daddy would think. It pulled me out of the story every time.

Overall, a hot, low-stakes hockey romance if you're here for the spice and the boyfriends-loving-boyfriends energy.

Double Pucking Trouble was an absolutely adorable hockey omegaverse!! I mean, they was of course some angst because what story wouldn’t be complete without some drama, am I right? But overall this was just so stinking cute!!

Hunter and Ryder were just irresistibly precious right from the very beginning!! They knew they wanted Rebecca and nothing, not even her dad or her ex was going to come between them. They proved every step of the way that they were not going down without a fight! Rebecca herself even stood in the way during certain times, but they would not be deterred!!

All in all, I adored this book! It was a nice palette cleanser from some of the dark stuff I’ve been reading lately. So if you are in the mood for a meet cute, endearing omegaverse, then you should definitely check Double Pucking Trouble out!!
