Jio is everything! The way he genuinely loves Nina is so intentional!! But I can’t lie, I really can’t wait to find out how the other woman ended up in the fold. Nina had to really do something to hurt Jio because he loves her so much! The story continues to lay the foundation on all things Jio and Nina; it’s high stakes, meddling family members, forbidden love, secrets, etc! Lowkey, Nina made me respect her a little more in this book. She bossed up on her parents and my girl is the HBIC! One thing Nako is going to do is write a female boss and I live for it!! I can’t wait for the next part of this tangled web!
I’m seriously in love with Jio. A made man on the outside but a lover on the inside. Honestly I thought Nako was gonna turn the notch all the way up on Jio. There were definitely few scenes where he needed to knock the block off some people like Kobe & Nina’s father. Jio definitely loved Nina more. Yes she gave him more time but he still wasn’t first. It was her family and the legacy. Will Jio show her in G3 to stop playing with him? Will he turn the notch up in G3 cuz it will certainly be warranted.
This series is a banger! I like the way it slips in and our of the past and the present. Jio has sacrificed a lot just to be with Nina and Nina is so power driven and scared to stand up for herself that she's like a puppet for family and Jio usually gets the short end of the stick. Will be waiting for the next one as this one left us with a whole lot of unanswered questions. The present part is very sad but thank God for the village Jio built around her and Javon.
In her latest literary offering, “GOTTI: In Love With a Made Man II,” Nako continues the love, lust, and drama filled relationship of Joi Gotti and Nina Marchelle. In true Nako fashion, the story doesn’t disappoint. She continually brings colorful, multi-dimensional characters to life. My only disappointment was went the last page was turned. Can’t wait for the next installment.
As usual, NAKO did her thing with this one! Nina wasn’t my favorite in G1 and still isn’t however she grew so much on me in the sequel! She’s flawed but she does love Mr. Gotti, the weight of her family name just cripples her. And in a way so does the GOTTI name for JIO. I definitely didn’t see this ending coming and I can’t wait for G3! Let’s go!
I was so hyped for book 2, unsure i want book3 because my man has already died
I dont know man... Jio didnt have to go omw! Heart broken!
I'll see if his son's story is interesting enough, but damn, Nina's grieving made me struggle to even finish this, just did not enjoy it as much because of it, a major trigger for me.
At first I was like you know what Nina gets on my nerves for how she do Jio. But after this book I’m on her side he deserved it. I might be the only one who says this but I stand by that!! Can’t wait for the next book!
I don't know know to feel after this read! My emotions are all over the place and I have so many questions!!! Right now, Im upset with Nina. Did Jio love "C"? I love David. Both of their mothers were too much. Great book.
Girl, you really left us down bad. Nina should not have done Talia like that. She is really becoming hard. So many things happened in this book. I can’t wait until book three gets released.
