What an insightful look at end of life decision making. This book was written “for healthcare providers by healthcare providers”, but as a non-clinician, I read it and found immense value as a future patient or caregiver. This would have been a great resource for our family as we navigated the aging of both parents and in-laws. Now, as one of the baby-boomer generation, I was soaking up the knowledge this book provides for myself. This would make for an excellent book group discussion as it gently pushes you to ask the questions beyond just filling out an advance directive. I found it to be easily understood and very relevant for prompting important family discussions.
