On her first day at the Medical Complex, and from the very first look, Larrisa was mesmerized with the man approaching her. He was magnificent, and his awareness of her seemed to be of equal intensity. From that moment on her life was forever changed, for the man was Sheikh Faress Aal Rasheed, Crown Prince and he was part of the family she’d come to get to know. Faress had been absolutely bowled over with attraction from his first site of Larissa, and nothing is going to stop the unstoppable. He knows Larissa needs time, but that’s okay his patience is legendary. As they work together with the surgical teams, and he makes his not so subtle advances, they form a bonding and mutual respect. Then a disaster strikes his family and Larissa’s only desire is to comfort him. She knows she must tell him that she carries his dead brother’s baby, only how can she add to his grief? When I sit down with a book by Ms. Gates, I set aside the hours I need to read and savour the story. I know that I am going to be taken on a magical journey wrought with deep emotions, from erotic passion to bitter anger and disillusionment and to all consuming joy. This book fulfilled every expectation. From the opening pages, the magnetic attraction between Larissa and Faress is palpable. And this attraction is far far more than lust; it’s an instant connection, a meeting of souls. In Faress we have everything a hero should be; strength, determination, caring, integrity. He’s a perfect match for Larissa who is all that can be admired in a heroine. In every book written by Ms. Gates that I have read, I’ve been privileged to see deeply into the hero and heroine’s hearts; and the view is tremendous! Also with every book, I’ve been compelled to immediately savour it again. And upon each reading the words do not pale but rather become more powerful, more magical.

Well, what can I say ? I am in awe of this woman's writing skills! The intensity and tenderness which are entwined in her writing, between the characters, just entwine themselves into the mind of the reader as well.
This was the first Olivia Gates novel I read and couldn't get it out of my system for ages.
I love the way Olivia has alpha females who match the alpha males in her stories. Larissa is as strong and dedicated as Faress is. I love this.
Olivia Gates novels are a must read for all truly passionate, romantic readers.

I was so anxious to read this book with all the rave reviews but I have to say I was disappointed. It wasn't at all what I expected.

First I need to say that I am not a fan of books where most of it is angst-filled. I was looking for an incredible love story. What I found was OTT angst and unnecessary drama with physical and emotional separation until the end...of course. For two people who loved each other so much it didn't make much sense to this reader. They let their imaginations run wild and then believed what they had imagined. That doesn't cut it for this book lover.

The length of time she kept the secret was absolutely ridiculous. I knew I was sunk when I felt the strong urge to skip around, but yet, determined to finish. I cannot recommend this book but for those of you who like over-the-top drama and angst...you just may like it.

I absolutely love this book. It took me on a very emotional rollercoaster. Its a love at first sight brought together by tragedy. The attraction between Crown Prince Faress and Larisa was so strong I could feel the tension coming off the pages. Crown Prince Faress is a good man, doctor prince. Larissa is a strong but shy innocent that was doing something so precious for her sister and her husband until death took them away. She is all alone in the world with the baby. She has to find out if Crown Prince Faress the babies uncle should be a part of the baby's life. Between love and lust will she find the answers she is looking for. This is a great read. Lets just say the plane moments are the best.
