ah well it started so good and interesting then it sped up, too fast for my liking and then it was all just a OK read in the end!

Bryant is training for his next big fight and he needs help, he lost his last fight because he dropped his guard so he needs to learn to protect his head and face and he wants the best which is Terry Anders but Mr Anders isn't answering his calls so Bryant figures he'll turn up in person and just convince him to take him on.
Terry Anders has suffered a stroke and can't feed himself let alone train anyone, his daughter Alice opens a letter informing them his health insurance cover was terminated and now they have to find $30,000. There's no way they can pay that amount and Alice is worried about the stress it will cause her father and the fact that they will almost certainly loose their MMA training camp which is his life's work.
Bryant turns up unannounced to plead his case to Mr Anders which gives Alice an idea, fortunately she's tall, fit and a fighter so she takes the drastic step of impersonating her father, which would be difficult enough but once she sets her eyes on Bryant she knows she going to struggle.
This was a nice sweet easy read what I generally think of as the perfect 3 star read, no real drama or tension just a cute read with likeable characters who despite their best intentions just can't resist each other.

Alice's secret is discovered, Bryant leaves without letting Alice explain why she deceived him. The night if the big fight, confessions exposed, and love is found.

This was a great short story and a pretty good addition to my obsession with MMA/fighter romances.
I have one more I am going to read but I am so grateful for all the authors that write these books to fuel my obsession :)

How far will you go to protect the ones you love. In this case Alice, and the help of her loyal friends put on a good show. Alice's dad is a very famous MMA trainer. He has taken ill and has mounting medical bills. Alice con-cocks a plan to dress and act like her dad and train fighters. Bryant needs coaching and badly. He has a fight coming up in a few months. He had planned on working with Alice's dad and is unaware of what has happened. Can Alice do this? She knows all of her dad's skills, heck he trained her. Will Bryant ever find out? These two have been burned by love and do not ever want to go back to that place again. Leslie North does a great job of mixing Love and Hard workouts!

Wow! This was unbelievably awesome. This is the type of story, that once you start reading, you find it extremely difficult to put down until you are done. The plot is very well thought out and implemented. It starts nice and easy, but quickly progresses, drawing you in so that you can feel every emotion the characters are experiencing. The characters are well rounded, with expert knowledge and tonnes of heart. The chemistry between both Alice and Bryant is electric, and continually keeps you wondering if they will jump each other or not (and I am not telling). Definitely a must read!

Leslie North doesn't disappoint in yet another one of her books. Yes, like her others this one is short and has the potential to be longer but she has stuck with her usual modus operandi. I would definitely have had a few more laughs if the author had had Bryant interact a few more times with Alice as Terry and question himself more about his "excitement" around the old guy. I thought that it was one of the better parts of the story. At least he wasn't completely offended by the fact that a girl could whoop him. I suppose that it was better than the alternative, an old man "in not such great health" doing it.

❤️ This is the first book in Leslie's Burton Brothers Series and I can't wait for book 2. Alice and Bryant have been hurt in the past and can't believe the physical attraction they feel for each other, but they decide to put things on hold until after Bryant's fight against Macken. After his training is over and before heading home, he decides he needs Alice's cell number. He goes to the main house to get it from Anders and gets a shock instead. Alice is there, not gone, as he had been told. Will he let her explain or is this the end to them, before they even get started? I highly recommend this book. I will definitely be reading more from Leslie North!!

I just finished reading "MMA Fighter's Fierce Temptation" and I really enjoyed it. The hero and heroine are both young, about 22 years old. He is the MMA fighter in the story, but her father is a famous trainer for fighters. When our hero wants to be trained, her father is too sick to do it, but he doesn't know that.
When he shows up, she has to figure out what to do...and what she thinks of is pretty unusual.
The chemistry between the characters is good, and the fight descriptions where clear and exciting.

Snoozefest.
The blurb sounded good. The actual story was a bust though. I had trouble staying awake. It was literally all about a fighter training for a big match for 90% of the book. I didn't get the connection the main characters were supposed to feel for each other and the romance was subparagraph at best. We got very little background and insight into the characters. That annoys me when I'm reading a book. I won't be continuing the series. Oh, and the ONE sex scene was utterly lame.

Alice is in a real spot with her father sick and unable to pay his hospital bills her only hope is Bryant. Can she pull of imitating her father, will Alice be able to train Bryant.
I loved this book it has a great story line, it is interesting, it has a feisty lead woman that is not afraid to stand up and fight for what she wants, putting her own needs to one side to save her father and finds love. Definitely a winner!!!!

When chemistry is so strong that you are pulled together and can't explain why then you have the setting for this book! He can't afford to lose and she will not back down, even if that means denying the chemistry between them. He is up for the fight of his career but he just didn't realize that it would not take place in the cage!! Love this new series. Once again Leslie North has captured my attention and have me sizzling hot characters!!

Strong-minded woman, hard headed man. A combustible combination if there ever was one. Bryant is looking for a trainer for an upcoming fight. Alice is seeking a way to pay off medical bills. Alice hatches a plan that may help them both if Bryant does not find out she is a woman. A sexy and fun entertaining read. I'm digging this series, not only because of the "kick-ass" attitudes but also because the main character is a douche. my favourite character is definitly Alice, she's strong and can hold her own against the boys which for me automatically had me cheering her on even though the story-line kept reminding me of She's the Man.
All in all its a great read for a time filler or over the weekend, I would recommend it to MMA Romance fans!

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. This book is a quick and pleasant read. I like that Alice is a strong woman and and doesn't let her past experience with love get in the way of being with Bryant. I would have liked to see them interact more before they got together though. Glad it didn't end in a cliffhanger. I would definitely read the next one.

Ms.North has done it again told a story that has you looking forward to the end. Having a fighter learning from a female was a stroke of genius. Your in both the heroine and hero corner til the end of the book. What was great the story has very little outright sexual scenes. Check out this book well worth your time.

Another awesome book by Leslie North. If you love to read MMA books with a hot, sexy alpha male and a strong-willed woman, MMA Fighter's Fierce Temptation is the book for you. Well-written, amazing storyline and great characters. A definite must-read!

This is quick. Would love a little more on the back development of the characters. Would also love a little more heat. The MMA training takes top role in this, and it's good, but find some balance for the romance.
