Cozy Mystery, Book 12 Dying for a Laugh (Coming Up Cold)Each book is a self-contained mystery, but the character arcs build upon each other.
Rosi LaRuee thought solving murders was stressful — until her mother took over the wedding planning. There are scrapbooks. There are swatches. There are opinions. So. Many. Opinions.
Frankly, a murder investigation sounds like a break.
When Barley’s latest trip to the groomer turns into a plea for help, Rosi finds herself drawn into an old mystery surrounding the former director of the Tucson Valley Retirement Community. And Rosi has never met a case she didn’t want to tackle.
But someone in Tucson Valley would prefer the past stay buried.
The warnings start subtly…then turn personal. As Rosi digs deeper, her entire community closes ranks around sweet Keaton, steady Officer Dan Daniel, her coworkers, and yes, even her busybody mother and her sharp-eyed gaggle of retirement-community sleuths.
Rosi won’t back down.
But between escalating threats and relentless wedding pressure, she’ll have to decide how much chaos one midlife sleuth can juggle before something — or someone — snaps.

I have been reading this series for a couple of years and I love it. It's a cozy mystery with some rather eccentric characters. Rosie, the main character, is 40 something, working at retirement community in Tuscon, AZ. She has a new love and a new case solving an old murder while trying to plan her wedding! Let the antics begin!
I love this series and the characters involved. The senior community is wonderful and the things they get into are interesting. This time it is solving an old case revolving around a former director and the police officer. Of course Rosi solves it with the help of Keaton, Dan, and Safia. Can't wait for the next one.
