THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE BAKER & TATE SERIES RETURNS WITH A KILLER SERIAL KILLER SERIES!

A man murdered in a secure government garage. Cameras mysteriously disabled. And a classified folder someone was willing to kill to recover.

When a federal employee is found dead inside a locked government parking facility outside Washington, D.C., the case is quickly ruled an isolated incident.

But FBI Special Agent Katie Ford isn’t convinced.

Soon another body turns up along the I-95 corridor—this time a man discovered dead in his car at a quiet highway rest stop. Then another. And another. Each death dismissed as an accident, a suicide, or a tragic coincidence.

Katie sees something the local police don’t.

Every victim shares a hidden connection to a long-buried federal operation—one that was never meant to see the light of day.

As Katie begins digging into the past, the investigation takes a dangerous turn. Files disappear. Witnesses suddenly refuse to talk. And powerful people inside the system begin quietly shutting doors.

Someone is protecting a secret.

And anyone who gets close to uncovering it doesn’t just lose their job.

They vanish.

Now Katie must unravel a conspiracy that has survived for decades by erasing the people who threaten it most—including federal agents who ask too many questions.

Because the deeper Katie digs, the clearer the warning becomes.

Stop looking for the truth.

Or become the next ghost.

GHOST is a gripping FBI conspiracy thriller set in the shadowy corridors of federal power—a story of secrets, betrayal, and the terrifying cost of uncovering the truth. Perfect for fans of Lisa Regan, Robert Dugoni, and Melinda Leigh.

Great story, needs better editing...

Ghost, the 4th book in the Katie Ford series is a great book in which Ford and Shaw investigating what appears at first glance to be a serial killer but turns out to be something far more insidious. I absolutely loved the book, the story itself is excellent, but the book needs another round of editing. There is a major error in 2 chapters in which a subject is stabbed in one chapter, but in the next, the protagonist arrives in time to prevent it. I will happily amend my rating to the 5 stars it should get once the book is cleaned up. That won't stop me from reading the next book in the series. 5 stars for the story, but 1 star for the editing errors. Overall, 3/5 stars, its a great book that just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
