Alpha Bear's Runaway Baby: A Sweet and Steamy Small Town Fated Mates Bear Mpreg Romance

Alpha Bear's Runaway BabyKinneard × Fox

I showed up in Honey Hollow with cracked ribs, a stolen clan ring, and nowhere left to run.

No pack. No money. No name I could safely give.

Just a stranger who found me bleeding behind the café and dragged me somewhere I wouldn't die.

I wasn't supposed to stay. Heal up. Keep quiet. Disappear before anyone came looking for what I took.

Then Kinneard Butler put a plate in front of me.

The former Marine barely speaks. His hands are scarred, his temper is legendary, and his bear watches me like it's already decided I belong here.

Every morning he makes sure I eat first. Before anyone else. Without a word.

I tell myself it doesn't mean anything.

Then a stranger steps off the Greyhound wearing a ring that matches the one in my pocket—and Kinneard moves between me and the door.

He doesn't ask questions.

He doesn't step aside.

And suddenly the grumpy bear who barely speaks is ready to fight an entire pack to keep me.

Alpha Bear's Runaway Baby is a sticky-sweet and steamy M/M mpreg shifter romance featuring a gruff bear alpha who speaks fluent breakfast, a sunshine wolf omega running from a dangerous pack, fated mates, workplace proximity, knotting, an unexpected pregnancy, and a fiercely loyal found family. HEA guaranteed.

"That's not where those go," I said. My voice came out harder than the towels deserved. "Oh, sorry, I thought—" "The rolled towels go in the cabinet by the station. The flat ones go under the counter." "Okay, I'll move them—" "It's a simple system. I've explained it twice." - Kinneard

📝💭My Thoughts💭📝

2⭐️ and not 1 because at least it was written without a bunch of grammar issues and misspellings. I couldn’t really care much for either MC or the story line.

Dual POV, 1st Person

Overall: Why was Fox injured? How is he even safe now? Did they tell each other they were mates? Why didn’t I know Fox was an Omega? The word never occurs in the story but don’t worry we find out he’s pregnant in the Epilogue. And neither of them communicate like adults and Kinneard is a dick. Thanks.

Like leaving was still the plan. Like three weeks of broth and blankets and the apron I'd hung on his station meant nothing, because he was still calculating the distance to the door. - Kinneard

Here’s a quick recap of the timeline, spoilers:

- Fox found injured.
- Kinneard reluctantly gets food. Oh, Fox is Kinneard’s mate. Meh.
- Kinneard proceeds to be a dick in the kitchen for the next month and thinks it’s is okay because he leaves broth with honey on Fox’s nightstand and pulls his blanket up.
- Fox’s wolf wants his mate. Kinneard’s bear wants his mate.
-Fox scared and thinking of leaving still.
- Oh, Fox crying and gonna leave, but no, now Kinneard confesses his love. It’s the broth, come on it had HONEY.
- They fuck, woo 😐.
- Epilogue? Wait what happened. He was on the run? Why was he even hurt? Oh BTW Fox is an Omega I guess which was never mentioned since he’s pregnant.
- The end. Ta-dah

"Right," he said. His voice careful and even and nothing like how he usually sounded. "I'll move them." "Also the cutting boards have an order. You've been stacking them wrong all week." "Have I. I'll fix it." "The system exists for a reason." - Kinneard

❤️Tropes/Themes:❤️

- Fated Fakes, I mean, Fated Mates
