This book is easy to read and it did give me some valuable insights I was looking for.
I have been selling puts and covered calls and earned a bit of money. When this book says that it is only going to cover buying options, but not selling, I was a bit skeptical and disappointed, as it is different from the strategy I learned from other books.
But I continued to read anyway, as I started to suspect I had been using options the wrong way. Looking back at the trades I earned a small profits, I would have been better off by doing buy and hold then enjoying a small premium.
Indeed, the book introduced me to the mindset of buying leaps and explained why it is not as risky as I thought. It has also backtested on the times of market downturn and proved how it would be a good strategy for bear market as well.
The thing I hope this book could have improved is to provide more scenarios and explain how the strategies would perform in each.
Its examples only covered the story of what had happened. But as I read, I kept wondering what would have happened if events did not go that way. There have to be some scenarios that the strategy would fail and I would like to know when.

Main or only 🥲 strategy mentioned: ( Buffett’s Secret Billion -Dollar Options Trade ) -> Might try in future but not definitely atleast.

* Buy ATM option preferably SPY or SPX with longest expiry (usually 2-3yrs) especially on December or during a crash using 20% of ur total capital . Keep remaining 80% capital in ur trading account (I'm not sure why exactly)
* Enter when 5 candles close (not necessarily consecutively) above 200 SMA within 2 weeks
* Sell it after a year if it's profitable.

I read these two books of his out of order, but I think they were good that way. There is a lot of overlap in content, but the second one was more clear and focused on a simple enhanced buy & hold strategy that is probably plenty for most people. This one had some other stuff as well, though I appreciated that it kept it pretty equally simple. Again, I would have appreciated some calculations of how taxes affect more active trading. But overall, it’s a very good system he lays out here for someone learning the ropes of options trading.

It was an easy read considering it is options trading. I like the strategy, I don't have time to devote to finishing options all the time. I liked the stories. They help communicate how one can rise and fall and still have a successful life.
