Lorna and Ludwig are back for another bloody escapade. With Ludwig being Lorna's loyal sidekick and son, he's all ears when she barks orders like “get them.” He's got her back, and she's got his, no matter what crazy mess they get themselves into. This wacky adventure takes them to the creepy carnival, where they meet the despicable Harold. Let's just say Harold gets what's coming to him. Ludwig creates more casualties all the way to the end of the book. I loved this book; I can’t wait to see what happens to these two next. I highly recommend this series! Know your triggers!

Lorna and Ludwig find refuge with the carnival. Luddie a sideshow attraction and Lorna the unrequited attraction of the vile ringmaster.
Pus, splatter and chomping aplenty, Luddie and his Mummy will do anything for each other; their adoration seeps through the story and makes this monster boy still the most adorable grotesque thing ever.
The only thing that seeps through more is the eye-juice (ew), the eye-juice!!
The nods to Carnie series were fantastic and will delight fellow devotees of the Ericmorean Church.
I can’t wait for the next instalment. And I still want a Cuddly Luddie.

Welcome to the carnival! Witness The Monster Boy!! Ludwig and his mummy, Lorna are back in an all new adventure. Carnies, corpses and carnivorous chaos are left in their wake! A quick, fantastical, read with graphic violence, death, and the unyielding loyalty between mother and her son. A freakishly entertaining read that makes me want more Ludwig adventures. He’s such a good boy….in his mother’s eyes.

There just something weirdly sweet about the relationship between Ludwig and his mum..... this part of their story takes place at a creepy carnival where Ludwig is on hand to give the owner (and others) just what they deserve!
