This was one of the silliest books I've ever read. I gave it the extra star for the laughs I got from it. Published in 1997, it is full of anachronisms and inaccuracies regarding police procedures and female behavior. I wonder if the author is male, writing under a pseudonym?

It was a fast read but sometimes it felt as if I was reading a Perry Mason script.

Vintage Lillian O'Donnell 1995. It's New York City and Detective Jane Harrow has reported her partner for corruption. That was her first mistake.
