Mr. Robinson has written a book that all people should read. It highlights much of what is wrong with today’s Black Democratic community. I believe the information in this book should be more widely known. A lot of people today do not know their history. The Republican Party was created to end slavery and give Blacks their freedom. The Black community was one of the strongest centers of self-sufficiency even during the “Jim Crow Era”. They worked hard and persevered. Democrats destroyed that. The so-called “party switch” of the 1960s was only the Democrats disguising their disdain for the Black community. Instead of enacting laws to keep the Black community down, they enacted policies that kept them dependent on welfare and subsidies. By ensuring that welfare policies penalized two-parent households, many generations were doomed to a destabilized culture that eventually became normalized. This had drastic effects on the Black community, as the Democratic policies targeted them especially. This bought Democrats the votes they wanted. Unfortunately, the Black community suffered as their children became pawns for the welfare state. They grew up in this state and thought it was all they could do. Incentivized welfare makes people dependent, lazy, and entitled. Democrats have historically kept the Black community down by disenfranchising them, destroying their culture, and making them dependent on government assistance. Many have been brainwashed into believing that the Democrat Party has their best interest at heart. However, the Democratic Party has made promise after promise and not delivered.
This should be a reading requirement of everybody and dissected in discussions so the reader understands what is written and how the ramifications are currently in play today. Snarky written with a lot of insight. Great to see in one book and not scattered deep within the cobwebs of the Democrat party.
This book if read by everybody who is either on the fence or has just been voting the same way without research could change the face of American politics. An excellent read for Christians of both parties.
Honey I bought this book this morning at 5:18 a.m. and I just finished it at 11:27 a.m. I’ve never just sat down and read an entire book in one sitting. But this book enlightened me and made me see the history of this country, the political parties, and voting from an entirely new perspective. And this is coming from me , someone who was a legacy Democrat meaning I just followed what was forced upon me growing up until recently within these last couple of years I started questioning the narrative and questioning myself and wondering why I was Democrat in the first place and wondering was it only because I was black and gay?! That lead me to start examining myself as well as looking into the Republican Party and getting to know amazing people like Charlie Kirk (may he rest in peace), as well as a few online Conservative content creators and eventually I came across a video by this author that captivated me yesterday, so I decided to get my hands on this book and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all! It was great to hear the perspective of a black person who doesn’t have a victim mindset and has an appreciation and love for Christian values! But most importantly he thinks for himself! Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Read this to learn some history you were never taught in school. This is an excellent discussion on the history of the Democrat and Republican parties - where they both stood on slavery, civil rights, Reconstruction, and Jim Crow. Did the parties swap positions after Lyndon B. Johnson? Are Democrats really the party of civil rights? Take a read and find out.
This book stated a lot of facts i wish it was longer, but it actually bought reality about political parties and the real history behind it back then. Well done
Very well researched and incredibly well written book exposing true history that is available to all of us. We just have to commit to find it ourselves instead of believing the agenda we were taught growing up!
