A MUST Read. Loved this book. The way I fell in love with the characters. Isabella a strong female powerhouse with her husband with forearms like eye candy, you feel you are in the story with them. The author brings you through all of their emotions, and I felt so connected to the characters. We got Cartel, love and even humor. Grab this you won’t be disappointed. I will be waiting for more from this author.

This book is so vastly different and unique. Cartel Boss Fmc with a Mmc that knows what he wants and takes it by hair. The plot is thriving in this book in more ways than one and then the spice 🥵 The chemistry between them can be cut with a knife. Oh and did I forget to mention only one bed ❤️🔥 A must read for 2026, Highly Recommend.

This was my first time reading C. Andra, and I really enjoyed the author’s writing style. It flowed easily, kept me engaged, and made for a very enjoyable reading experience.
I liked both Isa and Beckett as main characters and enjoyed watching their relationship develop throughout the story. Their connection was sweet, and I appreciated that their relationship was built as an equal partnership, with neither one holding more power than the other. While I knew this was a slow-burn romance, at times it felt a little too slow for me. I would have liked a bit more chemistry and spark between the characters, and I found the spicy scenes somewhat lacklustre.
I also loved the family and friendship dynamics. They added a lot to the story, and I especially appreciated that there were other strong female characters who played important roles within the family and the overall plot.
My main criticism is that the book felt a little too long in places. That said, it was still an easy, engaging read that kept my interest, and I’m definitely invested enough to continue with the series.

This is book #1 in the legacy series. Isa is a strong FMC. She ends up taking of her families cartel and must keep herself from being made to marry into another family. After her uncle died she discovers he made contracts for her hand in marriage to other families.
Beckett was a solider who lost his team on a mission. He came a hitman after leaving the military. He is the one that kills Isa’s uncle and cousin. Isa decides her best chance at survival is marrying g someone everyone is afraid of. She seeks out Beckett and he agrees to marry her.
I love that Beckett stood by her side but let her take the lead. Even though Isa is strong she also learned that it was ok to lean on him for support. I’m looking forward to book 2.

Ladies and gentlemen this right here is how a woman takes back her power! This was a good one! But boy does it get twisted. You understand when you read it hahaha but underneath it all there’s also a raw and real connection between the two MCs and what they build together. Truly starting a new legacy.

Hunting Legacy was such an unexpected surprise, and Isa absolutely delivered on being the strong, in‑charge FMC they promised. She’s a boss in a world that rarely lets women sit at the top. Her dynamic with Beckett is unorthodox at first, but their chemistry and genuine feelings build into a powerful, spicy relationship that hooked me fast. After all the chaos and grit, the ending was surprisingly sweet and wrapped everything up perfectly.

Wow, what an amazing book! I got to be an arc reader and was so happy about it.
Right off the bat, we meet Isabel who is being forced into a life she never planned for. After her fathers death, her uncle takes guardianship of her, but decides to use his niece as a pawn in his schemes.
Beckett was set on revenge after a horrid military mission went haywire. Betrayal caused his entire team to be slaughtered. Years of strategic planning led him to those that caused such a failure.
Little did he know, he was weaving his future with Isabel.
I ate this story up. Immediately I got Ghost vibes from Beckett, and that was a sure fire way to get me hooked. Isabel is a smart character, taking back her power her own way despite being led into a life she didn’t like. I highly recommend this book!

I loved the book. I found it captivating and hard to put down. I usually read more murder mysteries instead of dark romances, but this one sounded interesting since it was dealing with cartels. The book did not disappoint and is a must read. I highly recommend.

The slow burn? PERFECTION.
The tension? Thick enough to choke on.
And The Huntsman… yeah, that man is going to live in my head rent free for a VERY long time. 🖤
What I loved most was how this book didn’t rush a single thing. Every moment built so perfectly that by the time everything started unfolding, I was completely addicted. The chemistry, the danger, the obsession, the emotional punches… ALL OF IT HIT.
And can we talk about the FMC for a second because she was NOT weak. Watching her step into her power and hold her own in this world was honestly one of my favourite parts of the book. She gave strength, resilience and boss energy while still feeling real.

I really enjoyed the fact that the mafia/cartel boss was the woman. Her intelligence and confidence shines through and were really appreciated. I did enjoy her and Beckett's relationship, but it was a little too insta-love for me. If insta-love is your trope, though, you are in for a good one! I did, sometimes also feel like Isa's character was just tad inconsistent. Some of the chapters where she was a little wittier didn't seem to jive with her overall character, for me. The story was also a bit slow at times. Writing is well done, super clear and accessible. Overall it was an good read.

This slow-burn dark romance is a must-read. The FMC becomes the Cartel Queen after the man she eventually makes a deal with murders both her uncle and cousin, only for her to discover that her uncle had promised her to not just one cartel/mafia boss, but five.
The MMC, also known as “The Huntsman,” possesses a power that no one wants to challenge.
The slow burn in this story was perfectly paced, and the fact that a woman rises to become the Cartel Queen made it even better.
I cannot wait for the next instalment in this series.

Pacing was perfect, none of it felt rushed, and I love how the FMC had to adapt and basically go from being lovely and lighthearted to basically a boss bitch - and I was so here for it.

The writing itself is strong and clearly crafted with care, but the pacing leans heavily into a slow burn that tested my patience more than it rewarded it. While the story insists on the connection between the main characters, I never quite felt that spark translate off the page.
It’s one of those books where I can absolutely see why others love it, but for me, the emotional payoff just didn’t land. Not a bad read by any means, just not the right fit for me.

A slow burn dark mafia romance. Isa is a kick butt,take no prisoners strong woman who has been secretly running the cartel for her uncle until he dies and she takes over out in the open. Unbeknownst to her,he has multiple marriage contracts on her with heads of other cartels and mafia so she decides to take matters into her own hands in the form of Beckett aka The Huntsman. Secrets,betrayal, love and wonderful characters are all prevalent in this book. I really enjoyed it.

I blindly started this book thinking it was a romance book. It didn't take long for me to find out I was seriously wrong. It is not any one thing and I am not sure I could even define it. I just know that I spent the last 2 hours devouring the end of it, fending off kids, dogs and husband until I got to the last sentence! I'm not saying there isn't romance, OH there is. I just think it is so much more. I am anxiously waiting for the next installment!

Overall, this was a very intriguing and captivating book. Spice level was 3/5 and plot was a 5/5. I absolutely LOVED all the plot twists and it had me wanting to know more. This is the perfect book for those who love a dark mafia/cartel romance. The FMC is not your typical helpless woman. She is strong and determined. The mmc is like someone you dream of. Hard and rough but only has a sweet spot for you. This book does end on a HEA but I do encourage you to review the triggers before reading!

Isabel tracks down Beckett after finding the evidence of her uncle's horrible dealings. After accepting her offer they are off and running on dismantling the damage her uncle and cousin have created. They are a slow-burn couple that you can feel the chemistry flowing from.

THIS WAS SO GOOD! Isa is an absolute boss of a FMC, she knows what she wants and she takes it! And Beckett?? This man knows how to love and worship a woman! I just love their dynamic and the way they work together! Taking on different Mafia bosses in different ways to protect herself, Isa doesn't back down and Beckett stands strong with her EVERY.STEP.OF.THE.WAY!.
I loved the plot and the other characters, Lucia is an absolute favourite of mine now for best friends!
