There are second chance romances... and then there are the ones that remind you some people never truly leave your heart. Xane and Zora are one of those couples. From the moment they found their way back into each other's lives, you could feel their connection. Their history feels real, full of unanswered questions, lingering feelings, and all the emotions that come with finding your way back to the person who once meant everything. Their relationship never felt forced, it was impossible not to root for them. They truly felt made for each other.
What I love most about Esther E. Schmidt's books is how she balances heart-pounding action with deeply emotional moments and this story delivers both. Every chapter had me wondering what was coming next. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another twist pulled me right back in. The suspense kept the pages turning, while the romance gave the story its heart.
Xane is exactly the kind of hero I love reading about—strong, fiercely protective, and willing to risk everything for the people he loves. Zora is just as memorable, bringing strength, vulnerability, and heart to every scene they share. Together, they made this book impossible to put down.
I also loved getting more time with the Broken Deeds family—they're some of my all-time favorites. Seeing the familiar faces alongside with new ones made this world feel even bigger and I can't wait to see where the series goes next.
If you enjoy MC romances filled with danger, second chances, unforgettable chemistry, and characters who stay with you long after the last page, this is definitely one to pick up. Esther E. Schmidt did a wonderful job with this story.

Vengeance, Valiance, and a Love That Never Died

Hot dang!!! The second Esther announced another Broken Deeds book, I knew I was in for a wild ride! If you haven’t read this series yet and you love bikers who do good works, consider this your ultimate sign to start.

For those new to the series, these chapters work undercover with the government to take down the worst of the bad guys—essentially holding a total carte blanche to do the dangerous things the government can’t touch.

This is Xane’s story. As a member of the NJ Chapter under Spence’s leadership, he’s sent undercover back to his small hometown to investigate a sudden crime streak and finally solve his father's murder. Since Xane is next in line to take over his father's local MC, it's the perfect cover. But going home means coming face-to-face with the past he left behind—including Zora, the only woman he has ever loved.


The stakes skyrocket when Zora is taken, leaving Xane fighting a brutal war on two fronts: saving the woman he loves and avenging his father's death.

This is an absolute standout read that you do not want to miss. I am crossing my fingers we get to see much more of the guys in Xane’s new Broken Deeds club!

I love getting sucked into another Broken Deeds MC book and this one sucked me right in from start to finish. This is Xane's book from the Broken Deeds MC New Jersey Chapter. Xane goes back to his hometown to seek answers and vengeance for his father's death. Going home for Xane brings him face-to-face with the love of his life Zora. These two had a strong love connection when they were young but life situations happened and Xane left leaving the love of his life behind. When these two reconnect you can feel the love pour out the pages and how their feelings for each other never died. Things take a turn for the worse when Zora is taken but nothing and I mean nothing stopped Xane from losing Zora. Xane even called in the big guns, Lynn!! This book had twist and turns I did not see coming especially towards the end! The other members of Xane's chapter were amazing and I hope we get more books about them too. This is not a book you want to miss!

Oh my days!!! And we are back with Broken Deeds MC. It’s the New Jersey chapter and it’s Second generation! I am back with some of my family! *whispers although I still think Spence is an asshole, albeit a loveable one! Lol!!
Anywho! Xane is back in his hometown to short shit out and literally bumps into his past!
What transpires next, holy shit, my heart and my feels just totally dived!! What people underestimate is what a brother will do when their woman is caught in the crossfire. And Xane, with his brothers will rain absolute hell fire down on those who cross the line.
Throw in a few surprises! Come on! #IYKYK and this book is fucking amazing!!
I mean in all honesty, that goes without saying with this author!!

This is the next book in the Broken Deeds MC New Jersey Chapter and Xane & Zora’s story. Esther has done it again and given us an amazing story. I was hooked from start to finish. Xane and a couple of his brothers are headed back to his hometown undercover to find out who killed his father. Once back home he comes face to face with Zora, the love of his life. Only she’s still mad at him for leaving all those years ago, however; he left because he knew she was destined to make a great doctor. While figuring things out about his father’s murder things take a turn when he finds out Zora quit her job and is missing. He will stop at nothing to get his woman back.
This was a great addition to the series. I hope we get more of the guys from Xane’s chapter.

The intrinsic excitement this author brings to her books is apparent from the start, action, love, evil bad guys and club members with loyalty and a need to protect what's theirs. It held me gripped and I read it in two sittings, with smiles and clapping hands. Frowns and cheers. I love how Broken Deeds is expanding and possibly moving forever onwards. Esther knows how I feel about tiny aspects of this story but I have to go along with what the characters tell her and in the end it makes them stronger. Love, love, loved it. I see it being popular and another hit.

Xane is book 3 and the final one in the Broken Deeds NJ Chapter series written by the amazing author Esther E. Schmidt. This is Xane and Zora second chance biker romance. This book was all sorts of intoxicating, and I was hooked right from the start. It hit all the spots, it was exactly what I wanted to read, and the little twists and turns that the story line took, kept me on my toes.
I fell incredibly hard for these two.
