Wow, this was a page turner! I love these authors together, and this was their best book yet. It was fast paced and the characters were easy to root for. I also liked the switching of POVs as that gave more insight into the story from both the protagonist and antagonist view. Highly recommend for anyone who loves suspense.

An action-packed romantic suspense story! A crime writer teams up with an FBI agent on the hunt for a ruthless assassin. Fans of Charles Martin, Jessica Patch and Davis Bunn will enjoy this thrilling novel set in the Pacific Northwest.
This quick-paced story mixes in modern day technology and current politics with a human interest side to make the characters come alive. The setting was a familiar one for me, so it was easy to picture the scenes in the forest and on the coast. The authors do a great job of bringing the story together with some surprising twists and turns. It was fun seeing a few "Easter eggs" with some crossover characters from another series mentioned.
There are a few brief pauses for questions of faith that the main characters wrestle with along the way, plus some deep family issues that need working out. Some gritty topics are touched on, but they are handled with care. A satisfying conclusion made all the angst worth it.
A terrifc read for fans of suspense thrillers with a clean romance. Recommend!

She Will End This was a fast-paced, on-your-mark, go-and-don’t-stop-until-the-end kind of read. However, I didn’t enjoy this as much as I had the previous ones by these authors. I don’t know, but it was still an entertaining read. 3.5 Stars.

This was a WOW read – one I wasn’t expecting from these two authors and as a psychological thriller fan – I loved it.
I have been reading Colleen Coble stories for years and know she does her research which she talks about in her “Dear Readers’ section at the end of the book. She tells us that all most was true but did make up ‘The Flow’.
The back of the book usually has interesting tidbits that add to the enjoyment of the story. I always like the thoughtful questions for Book Clubs discussions however; most readers not in a book club also find these questions create deeper thoughts about the story.

This pulse-pounding thriller has it all: hacked robotaxi, Mossad assassin, CIA operative, rogue agents, terrorists, and a kidnapping! Tying it all together is a wonderful faith thread about God’s protection and the warning about the seemingly innocent tiny steps we might take away from God.
The narrative centers on a daughter who innocently uploads her DNA to a genealogy website, opening a Pandora’s box of secrets and cover-ups.
“It changes everything, Mom. Everything I know for sure is a lie.”
What do you do when everything you’ve ever known is uncertain and quite possibly a lie?
The co-writing duo made it possible for me to instantly slip into Brittany Olsen’s shoes, allowing the shock of the cover-up and betrayal to keep me turning pages. I kept asking myself what I’d do in each of the circumstances Britt found herself in, and my empathy for her situation increased.
I appreciated the twists, the perfect pacing, the red herrings, the unpredictability of the characters, and the faith thread. I pondered how heredity and environment shape who we are as well as what kind of legacy I want to leave.
I had difficulty believing Britt’s romantic relationship as it seemed to appear out of nowhere. I must have missed the cues! I laughed at my notes attached to the following quote: “He hadn’t realized the depth of his feelings for her.” I added ‘Me neither, dude’ on my Kindle highlight.
I also found that the sections about the Flow (after the rustic Scandinavian cabin and after Schmuel) seemed to be randomly inserted and had little effect on the narrative … for me.
My takeaway? “Loyalty blinds you.” This is great advice to keep in mind as I journey along.
This is a standalone thriller and it needs to be on your night table!

She Will End This was one of those books that hooked me from the very first chapter and did not let go!
Colleen Coble and Rick Acker make an amazing writing team. This story has everything I love in a good suspense novel—FBI, CIA, DHS, Secret Service, local police, even Israeli intelligence—and somehow, with all those players involved, I could never quite figure out who could actually be trusted.
The twists and turns were fantastic. At one point, I was so shocked by a reveal that I literally shut the book and stared at it with my mouth open. That’s when you know a suspense novel has done its job!
The story follows three viewpoints: Brittany, a bestselling true-crime author; Stein, an FBI agent hunting the man who killed his father; and the mysterious Arradon. Brittany and Stein quickly find themselves caught in a dangerous game where the stakes keep getting higher—and their enemy always seems to be one step ahead.
But what I especially appreciated was that underneath all the action and intrigue, there’s a deeper story about identity. Brittany has to wrestle with some difficult questions about who she is and whether her past and family history determine the person she will become. I loved that Coble and Acker didn’t shy away from the faith element, either. It felt like an important part of Brittany’s journey rather than something simply tacked onto the story.
This was truly an edge-of-my-seat, couldn’t-put-it-down read. I loved every minute of it. And as a longtime Colleen Coble reader, I especially enjoyed spotting some Easter eggs from past series!
If you love Christian romantic suspense with plenty of twists, intrigue, danger, and characters you can root for, definitely put She Will End This on your list.

Wow… this book took me on one wild ride! I’m not sure I’ve ever read a thriller where I kept thinking, *Okay, NOW I know what’s going on*—only to have the story throw another twist at me.
As a crime thriller lover, I loved that Britt is an author who uses her skills to solve cold cases as she writes her books.
As this part of the story develops, I was on the edge of my seat, almost as if I were sitting next to the evil scoundrel who was spying on Britt. I felt trapped in the car, wanting to escape and warn Britt of his presence. That’s how immersed I was in the story!
As Britt faces an uncertain future because of a genetic disease, she submits her DNA for testing. This opens a literal **Pandora’s box** of unfortunate events that take Britt on a long and tumultuous journey.
Right from the beginning, Britt is in serious danger when an autonomous car/taxi has been reprogrammed to try to kill her. From there, the action just keeps coming. There are secrets, betrayals, people who aren’t who they seem, and enough unexpected turns to keep me guessing.
What I especially loved was the feeling that I couldn’t completely trust what I was seeing or where the story was headed. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another piece of the puzzle changed. The pacing kept me turning the pages because there was always another question I needed answered.
**SPOILER ALERT:** And that ending! 😳 Finding out that Britt has an unknown half-sister—and that she is actually a mole in the FBI—was one of those *wait…WHAT?!* moments for me. I honestly did not see that coming.
This was definitely a **5-star read for me**. If you enjoy action-packed thrillers with mystery, danger, betrayals, twists, and unexpected turns that make you rethink everything you thought you knew, I highly recommend this one!

I love the edginess of the plot and the real evil of the villains; it's real. The authors don't water things down or slap any whitewash on the hard parts, but neither do they glorify them, and that's what makes this book great. The darkness is contrasted by good, light, and hope - sometimes quite directly - and that juxtaposition allows for the reality of the evil parts while highlighting how good wins out in the end. I love this kind of story.
I love these kinds of heroes, too, because they're all in for their side. Britt and Stein - even Willow - and are brave and make tough decisions based on what they think is right, not on their circumstances, and they are the kind of leading characters I love to read about: they may be afraid, or hurt, or traumatized, but they keep doing their best. My thoughts - The book was very well written with characters I fell in love with and so not so much. I loved the connection between Britt and Willow the missing child. There are several twist and turns which kept me intrigued. There are several place where the characters turn to God and his wisdom, protection and love. I hated for the story to end and wished it would continue.
I highly recommend this book and I give it a 5 stars!

This is probably one of the best books I've read all year! I couldn't read this fast enough and loved every page! I was gifted an ARC of this book and was so grateful because I loved it. The suspense was intense and the characters were well developed. The action was non-stop and I liked how the romance between Stein and Britt developed at a believable pace.
Britt's rather ordinary life is shattered when she discovers that she is the daughter of an assassin! Can you even imagine that? I sure can't! She's a true crime writer but even she can't come up with something like that! She feels her whole life has been a lie! When her father comes after her to "claim her", her life becomes a nightmare. What's worse is that the President of the USA's granddaughter has been kidnapped and Britt's story becomes embroiled in that too.
Stein is an FBI agent who has been hunting Britt's assassin father for years and this is his chance to get him. He has his reasons. He doesn't know that he will also find betrayal within the investigation and be on the run with Britt, the President's granddaughter and not know who to trust!
I loved every word and it could have lasted several more chapters! I would have enjoyed that! I heartily recommend this book!

This is their best book yet! The story is suspenseful the whole way through and the characters were likeable (except Lilith). I always enjoy getting multiple points of view when reading a story like this, and I found that the authors chose the perfect times to switch pov, to get a well rounded story. I felt like some of the lines were a little too cheesy between the characters who were in a romantic relationship but that comes with every book lol! There were many hints throughout the story that allowed me to guess the main antagonists so I wasn’t shocked at all by the “twist”, but I enjoyed the fact that I was able to guess correctly. Also, props to the authors for the subtle Moby Dick references lol… that excited me. I see what you did there. Again, this is their best book yet and I can’t wait for fans of Colleen Coble and Rick Acker to get their hands on this one. 4.5-5⭐️

She Will End This by Colleen Coble and Rick Acker is a fast-paced story that is well written and easy to read and enjoy. When Britt's dad passes away, she has a DNA test down to see if she could also develop the illness. This alerts not only her biological father but the FBI. At the same time the president's 5-year-old granddaughter is taken. Britt's biological father is the prime suspect, and she helps the FBI agent Stein search for the girl and her father.
This story is filled with suspense and mystery and has several twists and turns woven throughout. Danger lurks everywhere. Even Britt's former CIA agent can't keep them safely hidden. I like how helpful the agents are and how the characters cling to God to help them and keep them safe. I also enjoyed reading of how Britt's parents kept the truth from her and how she processed the truth when she found out.

I really enjoyed the mix of suspense, family secrets, romance, and faith. There are so many layers to the story, and I liked that underneath all the action there’s also this bigger question of identity—whether we’re defined by where we come from or by the choices we make.
There were plenty of moments where I found myself wondering who could actually be trusted, and I appreciated how the story kept adding new questions without losing the emotional side of Britt’s journey.
If you’re a fan of Christian romantic suspense, FBI/espionage stories, family secrets, and a plot that keeps moving, I think this one will be right up your alley.

This book was absolute perfection. Plot twist over plot twist with just the right amount of romance. I really loved the main characters……Stein and Britt were an amazing team. I also loved Britt’s mom Jenny……she was such a strong and smart woman. The betrayals were really unexpected. I really loved the ending too. The way faith is incorporated into the story was really awesome. This book really kept me at the the edge of my seat. I was really rooting for the main characters. It was an emotional roller coaster to be honest. I really loved the writing style of the authors. It was really engaging and easy to follow along. Even though the book is in 3rd person, the way we get so many people’s perspective was really cool.

Wow! These authors did it again! I love reading this dynamic duo. It was interesting. In the book they were describing the bad guy as "the worst of the worst" and, a fiction writer myself, I thought, how are they going to pull off writing "the worst of the worst" but they did! This book was amazing. I was hooked and reading the entire time. I loved the characters that were totally realistic and how they interacted with each other. I could feel the mother's concern of how she protected Britt her whole life but also tried to teach her skills to keep her safe as well. Wow. I did not see the ending coming or the "bad guy" who helped the worst of the worst bad guy. Wonderfully written, still thinking about it. I cannot wait for their next one!

Wow! “She Will End This” is a book that had me from the very beginning. It was engaging and a real page turner with so many unexpected twists and turns. I honestly had read prior books by the authors and found them too unrealistic to be interesting but this one grabbed my attention immediately. I loved the diverse points of view and how well it all came together in the end.

Wow. Action-packed book for sure. Britt doesn't know the danger she is stepping into when she has a DNA test to find out if she has Huntington's disease. Learning who her parents really were leads to so many questions she barely has time to think about the ramifications of what she learned. Between the president's granddaughter being kidnapped and a monster after her she doesn't know who to trust anymore, including her own mother. FBI Special Agent Stein is first on the scene offering his aid as he also searches for her father. After being ordered to stand down by DHS, the trust issues get even murkier and the web of secrets is very sticky. Britt and Stein wind up on the run and running out of options and people to trust. Will Stein and Britt find their way out of the web and into a stable world ahead? Will their love get a chance to thrive?

Only pick up this book if you are prepared to race through it from the first page to the last. This novel is a compelling psychological suspense novel with twists and turns that will keep you guessing. Britt Olsen knows how to negotiate with sociopathic killers. What she doesn't expect is the news, that her real father is one. That unleashes a chain of events that places her on the run with the help of a FBI agent, Stein Nordhal. Together, the two are trying to save the president's young granddaughter, unsure whom to trust. The tension is taunt and the romance on point. I throughly enjoyed this romantic suspense novel.
