A terrific read. The author's writing style is easy to read with plenty of wry humour. The book is worth it for the overview at the beginning putting the whole idea of female missionaries in its historical context.

Love this beautiful, comprehensive writing on so many wonderful Christian women who took the Gospel to and across China. It truly does give you great appreciation for what those women did and went through, but also how our Great God uses weak vessels for His mighty purposes! Would highly recommend!
