The Star River Sect has been reborn, and as its new Ancestor, Kael must navigate hostile factions, resolve the sect's crushing debts, and rebuild its strength. To brew the legendary Yang-Returning Water, he ventures into the frozen wastelands to hunt primordial beasts and seize the rarest resources. The miraculous elixir pulls Harper back from the brink of death and extends Kael's lifespan to thirteen hundred years.

His strength had already placed him among the top Nascent Soul experts of Heavenfall—until a rare Seven-Star Alignment triggered a worldwide surge of spiritual energy.

Ancient grand teleportation arrays are beginning to awaken. The sealed borders separating the five great continents are finally starting to collapse.

Yet Heavenfall is only the weakest of the five regions. With powerful experts from the other continents on the verge of descending, Soul Formation cultivators will no longer stand at the peak of this world. Kael must push beyond his limits and ascend to even greater heights.

It's good

If you like the previous books in this series, you're going to enjoy this one. You didn't. You're not going to. This is a great continuation in the story of the previous three books. You don't have to have read them for that. It to make sense. That just be a lot of characters that you don't know anything about that are referred to or talked about, but the main thrust and flow of the plot will be fine. It's a great adventure. Lots of action. Fun! Use of powers. It's nice seeing the main character make steady progress. Also, the main character while he does make mistakes at times is also not an idiot which is refreshing a lot of times. The author just has the main character to make bone-headed mistakes advance the plot and that's not the case here. It's also nice having a main character who seems to be a decent person at heart and just isn't out for himself he genuinely cares about his love, interest and acts accordionally. I hope this review is somewhat useful. I didn't want to get into any plot points and potentially ruin the book for you. I also apologize for any spun errors. Sorry

The first three books were 5 stars from me. However, this book just didn't flow right... This was supposed to be the richest man on earth before he died add transported to this world. Yet...He seems to have absolutely no business since whatsoever. He also acts like a teenager and not a seasoned elder. How can a man who heads made billions on earth feel such embarrassment and guilt in Such little things? A woman throws so fed him and he panics... Say what? Where is the bruthless business man? A whole sect was willing to make a peace offering And he does not even consider demanding reparations... And throw his whole sect sufferers for it... The story is good , but the disconnect from the backstory, keep sending a very jarring feeling throughout this last book... I sure hope the next book is better... This book still deserves at least four stars.

great read

Great series each book is better then the one before. We get some growth, some payback and an expansion of the world as the main character knows it. Next up is bigger stronger enemies and entire continents to fight!

Love this series even tho book 4 was a little lacking

I do love this series, although book 4 was more about gathering money than actual cultivating. But not complaining, hopefully book 5 will make up for it

Yay!

What's not to love, you have your "You dear"s and the ever growing drama and climbing. This cultivating novel is a should read.

This is just one cliche after another but I don't mind it.
