I absolutely LOVED BTBND!! This series keeps getting better and better! Cole and Jill are blazing from first glance. The author tackles serious issues with grace. The grief Cole feels is palpable. I felt deeply for Cole I would've liked to met his mother! Cole and Jill quickly race up my favorite couples of all-time list. I simply cannot get enough of these two!
The ending made me melt into a pile of romantic bliss. The epilogue is so perfect. I wasn't expecting it and my breathe caught when I read the last pages! Simply Magic!!!
This author is outstanding at developing her characters and making sure the reader experiences both sides of her storylines couple. I love how each character is developed and given real human situations, pasts and lifestyles. The mix of plot, storyline, characters, and overall story is truly outstanding.
This was the best book out of the series so far. I do think the relationship/love development moved a little too fast which took away some of the realism of the story, but that's my only complaint. I liked the characters, I liked how they related to eachother and helped eachother. It was a good book and has redeemed the series for me.
I would recommend this book to adults that enjoy stories that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic with strong characters both male and female. Well done
Another adorable couple in the series. Jill has a great heart, strong mind and her and her business partner owns a wonderful business watching children with families with special needs.
First Bedding the Bachelors serie I read. You don't need to follow the story from the beginning to keep up easily. A touching story. Both characters have their inner demons and trauma and they confronted them together.
So this is about Cole - who is a biker and security expert who lost his mother and has to go through her things. The next door neighbor who rents her house from Cole, but has never met him, runs a day care. They meet up at a bar, agree to one night together, since neither is really mentally ready for a relationship and go their separate ways. Until Jill knocks on her landlord's door and comes face to face with her one-night stand. She can't leave him alone because he's grieving and also because she can't get their incredible night out of her mind - and neither can he. So he convinces her to take what time they can, before he leaves. She agrees, even knowing it will break her heart.
I'll admit, I read this on the tail of an awesome romance with a long, slow burn and complex characters. So in comparison, this was a very fluffy read. Where the story before it had very subtle passion and not very overt eroticism, this story was much more "in your face" with its passion. That almost never affects my enjoyment of a story, but in this instance, I think my brain wasn't geared for it... I ended up not very excited by the smexy times. My fault - not the story's.
This was fairly average, but not my favorite story from this author. I love her friends-to-lovers stories. This couple just didn't do it for me. Jill kept saying she wasn't normally wild, but every time she got near Cole she became rather sexually adventurous...without him pushing her at all. So her personality was a bit of a mystery to me. And Cole was just frustrating - it was as though he honestly couldn't see the harm in them just spending a little bit more time together - as though feelings weren't going to be a problem. Their romance also felt very insta-lovey. Nevertheless, I was engaged with their story and entertained. So I did like it.

I liked this book. But here are my reasons for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars:
-No Max or Rhys (I love those boys, and to me, they are the heart of this series). -We never get to find out if Jill gets the test done. -I would have liked to know they decided to have some kiddos. They obviously both love them. -I wanted to "hear" the actual 'I love you.' -Also, after the first 3 books, the "glue" feels like it's missing in the series.

Another great installment to this series. Some if the issues discussed are real life for some people and they were done in away without leading the reader through to much heart ache. It was also good that there was not a long drawn out separation
Cole is heartbroken over losing his mom - he meets Jill in a bar and ends up hooking up for the night only to find out she lives in the house next door to his mother's house, the fireworks continue to go off for them.
