Two lonely guys (both of whom - the artist and the accountant - I recognize, but still manage to be unique), a total meet-cute, and a Reese's peanut butter cup to top it all off. Lovely short story.
Good story well written a little short but a fun read. The characters are interesting and believable. I enjoyed the story but a little to much kissing toward the end.
Sweet story about two young guys, Tyson and Cole, whose eyes meet when one is on the train, and the other on his balcony. For days they wave and smile to each other as the train stops across from Tyson's apartment. Wanting to take it further, Tyson makes a sign for Cole to see and he decides to take a chance and do it. They meet and they have a connection. Both shy and on their own, they have a lot in common and are much alike. Will be great to see what else happens with these guys, and where this may take them!
A quick read, perfect for a quick coffee break, lunch read. Cole and Tyson spy each other when Cole's train is stopped near Tyson's balconey - cue train/balconey flirting for a few days. I liked that they had a meet, flirt, missed meet, retaliation miss all before actually meeting! Both are intense characters and there is quite a bit of soul searching as well as hot sexy times - all within the first 90 minutes of meeting!!
You never know what stranger you may meet, or what they may one day mean to you. In this short story a passing train brings together two men, successful in their own right, but lonely, and the obstacle of meeting challenges and ultimately changes them, bringing them together for the better of both.
I've never read a book by Nate Tanner and I loved it. Good Job Nate :-)
It was a beautiful love story for Cole and Tyson two young professionals meet in passing every day. It's a great plot for the story and very believable. The charters could and quite possibly are real. I would have loved it to keep going but it ended well as it was. I was really getting into them. :-)
Who hasn't fantasized about meeting the person of their dreams in a chance encounter. This story is for all you romantic who think love at first sight is bull! Loved the characters, the ambiance and the tale#
This story just dragged with unimportant dribble. There were a few sweet spots and an one excited scene but it wasn't till they were together and the excitement didn't last long. There was just to much babbling. I just wanted to stream "move this along already"....
2 1/2 stars. Would have been a full 3 stars if a little longer. Cute short story but needed just a little more. Would love to read an extended version of this story. A sweet little moment in my reading time.
This is a short story about the unlikely encounter of two very lonely people. Nice idea and well crafted, though personally I could have done without the sex scene but that's a minor niggle.
