In a world where humans and mythical creatures coexist, a young woman named Cat embarks on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. With the help of Des, a golden dragon, and Richard, a mysterious ancient being, Cat learns to harness her shapeshifting abilities. As she navigates a series of dangerous and erotic encounters, Cat's mission evolves from survival to the preservation of endangered monsters. Along the way, she must confront her deepest desires and fears, all while uncovering the secrets of her own identity.
Good follow up to the first book. A little bit more plot but still a whole bunch of smut. Definitely another book I will be returning to eventually. Hats off to the author for the creativity. Heavy breeding in this book got a little too much at certain times of that isn’t your cup of joe.
The last one was wild, this one was more insane, less plot and more smut really. There were so many issues with formatting and spelling. Different people were talking within the same paragraph, so it takes a bit of effort to tell who is supposed to actually be talking. After the first installment, you see some of this coming, doesn't keep it from being weird. Skip this installment and stop after the first, at least until they are able to reformat the book so there are less issues.
A good story continuation. Monsters, who knew?! Fantastical stories to fill your imagination. Closer relationships develop as Cat looks inward for what she truly wants from life. And does her best to help others have their dreams fulfilled too!
That cheeky dragon completely stole the show for me—so cocky, but in that irresistible way, and then somehow also sweet underneath it all?? I loved him.
Same vibe as the first book with the spice and lighter plot, but the Lima really made this one stand out for me. Definitely my favourite of the two.
